Considering the home release has a cost in manufacturing as well, it's hard to say just how much it would have to do to not only offset those costs but then contribute to the film's overall financial success.

Thing is, even if KOTM falls a bit short, if GvK turns it around, there could be more to the MonsterVerse, at the very least, we're still getting the last planned movie.

Don't know the International sales numbers or the rental numbers (VOD). The-Numbers claim they have those numbers but they keep them private(!!)

I don't think I could stand Godzilla killing what amounts to someone's pet after it's been kaiju-fied.

They'd really have to work hard to make the enemy seem like a real jerk for it to not heel-turn Godzilla, thats for sure.

Just found out the release date for the KOTM blu ray is the same day as John Wick 3. That is a fucking fat L right there.

What? John Wick don't come out till September 10th, two weeks after King of the Monsters.
