Godzilla has the power to restore Skull Island and clear the storm. It will become Monster island when he does so.

Along with The Meg and Rampage part of the MonsterVerse as my headcanon. So is Trollhunter (2010).

TSS (Troll Security Service) is really a branch that was formed by MONARCH in managing trolls from reaching civilian areas. The trolls being titan fauna (Jotnar being classified as a Titan due to its size) having come from the hollow earth having settled in Scandinavia since ancient times. To relate on this headcanon as well. Given there are pockets connected to the hollow earth, some of those have different environments, hence an environment similar to Scandinavia being suitable from that pocket where the trolls came from.

There are other Space Titans, and Ghidorah has used that call to bring destruction to other worlds before its first fated battle with Godzilla & Mothra.

So here's one today for any Walking Dead fans.

A Godzilla appeared in Texas in between Fear the Walking Dead season 6 and 7. The Hollow Earth can spit Titans out in alternate Earths.

The ancient Hollow Earth civilization wasn't made up of humans but rather, reptilians. Think about it. We have no real concrete evidence that they WERE humans, just that they have a similar body plan to us. Plus, 3 out of the 4 MV films we've gotten so far have some sort of conspiracy element to them. G14 has Joe trying to uncover the real cause of the Janjira power plant disaster, K:SI has the Hollow Earth (even though it isn't proven by the end), and GvK... well, that's pretty obvious. What other major conspiracy theory is there besides the Earth not being what it seems and subliminal controlling of citizens by the government? Reptilians. Boom. There's my theory.

Plus, you could make them aliens to kill two birds with one stone.

At least most of the Titans were offered an individual human from and by a particular tribe or ancient civilisation to act as their priest/prophet, to tame and communicate with the beasts. Mothra of course had the twins, but Kong may've had one from the Iwis. Typhon, Yamata no Orochi, Mokele-Mbembe, Methuselah, Sekhmet, Behemoth, Quetzalcoatl, even Rodan likely had one of their own each.

When Godzilla was nuked in the 50s, he did in fact think mankind was feeding him. But he realized the devastation the nukes would cause to the environment, so that's why he left for decades. He figured if he stayed around mankind would continued to shoot at him with "tributes/food".

Shinomura, rather than Godzilla, was the one that sank the USS Lawton.

Camazotz could come back to fight Kong in Hollow Earth, considering that he was sent back down there by Kong in Kingdom Kong.

Does comic tie-ins often bring characters from those onto the big screen? Don't think that's happened with the MonsterVerse yet as much as I'd love for Camazotz to make a return.

Aight, got a few:

-The Hollow Earth is something in-between a real tangible location and a subspace dimension. You can reach it through normal physical means, but it brings you to a realm somewhat outside of Earth.

-Titans/Kaiju are a result of normal animals migrating into the HE and mutating due to the energy source within, both growing in size and rapidly acquiring a number of new features that their original species/phylogenic family wouldn't have (ex: Godzilla's gills and flexible facial muscles).

-Godzilla's species descends from early archosauromorphs, which during the Permian, would still look fairly similar to lizards, hence making their close relationship to Titanus Doug a bit more plausible.

-Just like the other three main Titans in KOTM have soft elemental powers (Ghidorah can create storms, Rodan can control winds, Mothra can create light), Godzilla is a soft hydropath. Through a combination of physical technique and energyregulation, he can control whether or not he causes a flood whenever he emerges from the ocean, he can create whirlpools, and he can float almost on top of the water (as seen in KOTM). When he caused a tsunami upon first emerging in 2014, he simply didn't consider the damage the flooding would do to the humans. Afterwards, he made sure to better control how he emerges from the water.

-Being animals thousands/millions of years old from before humanity, Titans may have no innate sense of gender, but as many of them are sapient, they have the capacity to understand the concept. Whether or not they do would depend highly on a titan's relationship to HE humanity: Mothra, who is canonically implied to have a deep history with humanity, would likely know about gender and have the opportunity to choose her gender for herself. Godzilla may have enough proximity to both Mothra and HE society to understand gender, but may also have been distant enough to either not care or not have a say in how he's represented. Ghidorah's pronouns are they/them, not because they are non-binary, but because they are three motherfuckers.
