Another one of the ideas tossed around in Toho for the Heisei series’ finale, this would have seen Godzilla face the divine bird Garuda.
Me personally, I don’t mind the idea as a movie in of itself, just don’t think it’s necessarily finale material.

I actually like this film personally. Seems like Godzilla would have outright lost but not have been killed and to me it does feel like a finale if the Divine Beast erases evil in men's harts and Godzilla is taken away.

There are few bird kaiju in these films, so it would been nice to see one. I also like that it uses a legendary figure that is seldom portrayed.
This would give us an upbeat ending for the era, but I think it wouldn't have the same power and effect that the ending of G vs Destroyah had.
