Well, I finally got Ultraman: The Complete Series on Blu-ray Steelbook, thanks to my local Walmart!
One down, two to go!
Oh, btw, the stacking of discs in this one, in my opinion, is not that especially bad. One just has to remember to do it carefully, and I do mean carefully. But it can still be done if you keep your wits about you. At least, it's a lot more different than the DVD case for, say, Mill Creek's release of Godzilla: The Series.

Last year (or late the year before) I bought a bootleg of Princess of the Moon in São Paulo's Japantown. Still haven't watched it yet.

The Snake Girl and the Silver Haired Witch. Got it from Amazon yesterday. I'm interested in seeing how Noriaki Yuasa's out there imagination translates into a horror movie. Should be a ride.

If you haven't watched Yokai Monsters: Spook Warfare yet, I highly recommend watching it alongside Snake Girl, since they were originally released on double-bill together. I did that a few Octobers ago, and it was a lot of fun.

I would consider it, but I still need to watch the first Yokai Monsters film before I can get to Spook Warfare. And I don't plan on watching more than the first one this year (I like to space them out), so SW is going to be a ways out.MaxRebo320 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 12:15 pm If you haven't watched Yokai Monsters: Spook Warfare yet, I highly recommend watching it alongside Snake Girl, since they were originally released on double-bill together. Not a VHS/DVD/Blu-ray, but a week or two ago Gamera: Guardian of the Universe was only $2.99 on iTunes store, picked it up to add to my digital library. Only missing Son of Godzilla and Gamera Super Monster now. I had gotten all the previous films on DVD but have since sold those copies.

The GvD/GxM Blu-ray set, and while it isn't related to kaiju beyond being Japanese, Arrow's Sailor Suit and Machine Gun Blu-ray.

A-ha! Success at last! On Friday I not only got Ultra Q: The Complete Series on Blu-ray SteelBook, but I also got The Birth of Ultraman and Secrets of the Rise of Ultraman on Blu-ray, too!
