My Nanmu Indominus finally arrived. Nice figure. Yeah it's not 100% accurate, missing the quills on the arms and neck, but its still easily the best Indominus figure on the market even if it isn't official.

Yeah, if you put three of the 'greener' BOTM environment sets together, you can get a pretty good 'Skull Island' shelf setup...this adds a bit to what I had before. I like it! Unfortunately, I can't seem to get ANY angle that shows what it really looks like. Illustrated Kong's weird paintjob in real life somehow works perfectly with this setup and doesn't stick out at all.



I'm tempted to slide the gate picture from Kong's package behind all this, with a few of the backgrounds from the BOTM packages beside it for the full effect. Guest-starring Mononychus from the Desert set as a two-legged pit lizard substitute, because when I realized what I'd be paying for a minifigure, I thought "I don't need 1933, I wasn't even born yet...".

While I am sure it won't be in Wave 1, I hope for one of the smaller ones in the tyrannosaur set to be made glow-in-the-dark so I can set it up with the Zunis and make a nighttime ghost dinosaur fight.

Nothing's been revealed yet but then again, we didn't know about the GITD Zunis until a few months before they showed up in Wave 2.....

Muldoon and the Rex look fine but the Compies's Chad chins are SENDING me.

I don't recall the Baby Rex being a bright lime green. Slap some red fins and a saddle on him and he'd make for a great realistic Yoshi.
