Also, gonna quickly mention the Mesozoic Life Spinosaurus model, cause their kickstarter ends in 6 days and they've only reached a 5th of their goal.

I feel really bad but I can't afford to give anything better, especially now. At least the BOTM one has the benefit of being two paychecks away.

I really want the Lythronax. I definitely think it has the best color scheme of any of them.

So the raptors got overfunded, the tyrannosaurs are going to get overfunded. Yet the ceratopsians only got half of their stretch goals unlocked and needed backerkit to finish.
Ceratopsians are the most popular herbivore group, outside of maybe sauropods. So I don’t see a hadrosaur campaign doing well in the slightest.

Yeah, and that is another reason why moving away from the species group model is probably a good move. Can allow for more unique species to join the line up

I definitely think it didn't help most of the big names were later strech goals.gottatalktothefake wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:11 pm So the raptors got overfunded, the tyrannosaurs are going to get overfunded. Re: Beasts of the Mesozoic, Jurassic World, & other Dinosaurs thread!
We will probably unlock everything, just looking at the kicktraq for the previous campaigns shows that the final two days add up to 1 to 2 times as much as the first day. So we could be looking at 200-400 k from those two days aloneExecutive Hamster wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 8:12 am It seems to be losing steam. All I want is Lythronax

Yeah, it's been slower but it'd still a good 2,000 like every other hour.

Lythronax has been unlocked!
In other news, the fine cut prototypes of the Tyrannosaurus figures David has received are able to stand without a stand!

Also they released the calendar! Adult T. rex is on my birth month! My little brother was born in November and he got the juvenile T. rex.
So I guess this calendar was made for us lol
