Seems Bandai is releasing a series of super articulated highly detailed animal figures. The first of which is a Nile crocodile.

My Rebor Mesozoic Rhapsody "Valley" Retrosaur arrived from BBTS the other day. A solid, sturdy piece of work with intricate detail. The colors are much, much paler than what Rebor initially showed, more like light gray and beige. I wish the mouth stayed open wider on its own. It scales beautifully with the Neca King Kong. I'm happy with it.

Updates on the Tyrannosaur BOTM line pre Kickstarter
- each Tyrannosaur will come with three feet options: one with a sculpted in peg, one flat and one for walking poses. The idea is the peg one will be on one leg and then the other is free to pose how you wish.
- the Kickstarter's initial goal are the four Rex variants (1/35th, 1/18th, exclusive WWD color 1/35th, Dino Riders colored 1/18th), every other tyrannosaur is a stretch goal, with the order being revealed as it goes on.
- Prices as they stand now:
1/35th: 60
1/18th: 200
WWD: 65
DR: 210
These will likely be a bit more once the kickstarter ends and they hit retail.
- the Dino Rider Rex will be limited to a 1000, while the WWD Rex is applicable to all backers.
- Kickstarter begins 22nd at 11 am.
- Hope is for Wave One to ship September 2022 but this isn't set in stone (likely due to the issues that arose with the Ceratopsians between switching factories and COVID)
RIP Evan.

The big Rex os about 50 dollars more than I expected but still not bad for the size and level of articulation.

Yeah, David's making sure the Ceratopsians Kickstarter doesn't happen againTyrant_Lizard_King wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 7:32 pm The big Rex os about 50 dollars more than I expected but still not bad for the size and level of articulation.
I'm really torn on what to do because I really only want the WWD Rex (cheaper, can fit it better and my favorite color scheme due to blatant nostalgia) but I have the Torosaurus pre-ordered and I'll feel weird not having someone to scale it with.
Might have to cave and order the Juvenile Trike....
RIP Evan.

Im super tempted to get the big Rex but I REALLY need to save up for the 40th anniversary memorial box and that would put a huge dent in my savings.

Re: Beasts of the Mesozoic, Jurassic World, & other Dinosaurs thread!
Ive been on the fence about it since 1, Im low on space and 2, Im trying to save up for the 40th memorial box. However, seeing the pictures for the first time now, I am DEFINITELY going to be backing the Walking With Dinosaurs rex when I get paid. Does anyone know if there is a limited quantity for it? I get paid in 6 days and Id be very sad if it was gone by then.

This is going to be funded day 1, stretch goals are pretty much guaranteed now
No limit, he removed them after there were concerns supply wouldn’t meet demandExecutive Hamster wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 12:22 pm Ive been on the fence about it since 1, Im low on space and 2, Im trying to save up for the 40th memorial box. Yeah, the only real "limit" is the WWD and Dino Rider Rex will only be for the Kickstarter's backers. After intital finding it'll be gone (possibly. He teased doing a 1/18th WWD Rex if the interest is there....)
Also, gonna try to get the WWD Rex when I get home. Hell of a birthday present lol. Maybe go for a 1/18th for my incoming Toro later on when I have more funds.

Re: Beasts of the Mesozoic, Jurassic World, & other Dinosaurs thread!
I was gonna make a rex family with both 1/18ths and a juvenile rex, but I ain’t spending over 500 bucks. So I just went with the regular 1/18 and a juvenileSoggyNoodles2016 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 2:07 pm Yeah, the only real "limit" is the WWD and Dino Rider Rex will only be for the Kickstarter's backers. So the initial funding is complete in only 13 and a half hours. Both other campaigns took 13+ DAYS. This is pretty incredible
