The planet Earth is at war. Invaders from an unknown part of space have attacked with the biggest fleet in human history. All across the globe, heroes of all shapes, sizes, and origin band together to stop the alien menace and save their home.
Japan
Explosions littered the ground and sent chunks of burning earth in the air as Mazinger Z fumbled backwards. Koji Kabuto gripped the controls tightly and glared with such a ferocity that for a brief moment it looked as if his machine’s eyes glimmered with the same fierceness. “You’re just as bad as Doctor Hell, I won’t let you invade my home! BREAST FIIIRRREE!!!”
The heat platings on the war machine hummed to life and blasted a sweltering heat of fire, melting a few of the invaders on the spot. Behind him, a young man flew about in the air on an old looking rocket pack, speaking into a wrist communicator.
“Go Giant Robo! Use your flamethrower!”
The ancient machine, older than even the Mazinger, lurched forward and unleashed a gout of flames that tore through the air, driving a couple of the invaders’ war machines back, before they jerked and screeched, charging at the machine. Adjusting itself, Giant Robot barreled at it’s attackers, bowling them over with it’s strength. Flexing it’s fingers, it turned and extended it’s hand.

“Let’s show them what we’re made of guys! POWER SWORD!” The clouds split apart and the light of the sun shone down on the battleground as the gigantic sword crashed down onto the earth. The Megazord kicked away one of the invaders and easily unsheathed it’s sword from the ground and swung it viciously at another attacker, cleaving two of the machine’s legs and having it collapse on the ground in a burning heap.
“Alright!” Jason yelled. “Keep up the assault everyone!”
With a mechanical screech, Mechagodzilla surged forward and unleashed a barrage of missiles, energy beams, and fire at the attackers. The war machines and slug-like aliens scurried back in alarm and pain as sparks and blood flew everywhere. The machine snapped it’s jaws for a brief moment and slowly marched forward, pushing them back towards the sea.
Brazil
Two mighty roars pierced the humid air of the coastline. Two unlikely allies, a giant turtle and an even bigger, green-skinned monster that resembled the King of the Monsters stood their ground against the wave of alien machines in their way. Docked at the harbor, the crew of the Calico watched on in silence as Godzilla and Gamera both thundered into the water to meet their foes.
Captain Carl Majors set his jaw tightly as Godzilla loomed over one of the alien machines and breathed a torrent of nuclear fire down on it, the metal turning red from the heat and boiling the sea underneath it. “Quinn, this is going to be one hell of a fight. Is Pete safe?”
Dr. Quinn Darian nodded, watching the battle as a fireball from Gamera erupted on one of the machines and sent burning pieces of metal and flesh scattering into the waves. “He’s with Brock, up to the mainland. Will we make it out of this Brock?”
A smaller kaiju soared overhead, giving its own juvenile and stunted roar into the heat of the battle. Godzooky latched onto one of the advancing war machines and clawed and scratched for dear life, the machine jerking about and shaking to try and shake the juvenile kaiju off.
Carl gave his faithful partner no answer, only staring grimly at the battle as it unfolded. He didn’t want to give her any false hopes.
America, Washington D.C.
The mothership hovered over the white house ominously. Dark clouds loomed over the abandoned city, the only light was the illumination of the strange green glow that came from the man-made barriers around the city. A gigantic war machine crashed through the Washington Monument and sprang four gigantic, metallic legs. Each dug into the ground and concrete and flexed slightly. The only sign of the pilot was the brain pulsating rhythmically at the center. The mighty Cerebulon machine turned slowly, looking down at its opponents.
Two heroes stood side to side. The first, standing out in the gloom, was red and silver. His yellow eyes pierced the darkness and he curled up his fists. Ultraman slowly slid into his battle pose.
The other hero was harder to see in the dark, his black armor only visible thanks to the sickly green color that emanated everywhere. His own eyes hummed with a dull red color, and Kamen Rider J stood by his ally, slipping into his own pose.
A thick silence fell across the heart of America. The only sound was the faint wind and the sounds of the fires burning in the distance. The machine looked back and forth from Ultraman and J, clearly trying to determine which hero was the most dangerous threat. They both watched as a green force field surged around the cockpit.
The choice would ultimately be made for it. With a sharp battle cry, both heroes leapt into action and landed besides one of the massive legs of the machine. Both kicked and chopped at the thick armor plating, sparks flying as the machine whirred about and tried to back away. Raising one of the titanic legs, it swung out and flung Ultraman back towards the capitol building as if he were a child. J jerked his head up in alarm when the machine turned towards him and from what was presumably the front of the ship, a gigantic device slotted out.
It hummed with devastating green energy and J had to dive out of the way as the Death Ray carved through a row of buildings in the distance as easily as they were made out of paper. The machine turned slowly, following J as he scrambled away from the beam before crying out in pain when it struck him on the side and sent him crashing to the ground, his body smoking from the attack.
The energy surrounding the cockpit flickered and then fizzed out, the shield disappearing as the machine began to charge energy for another attack. Seeing his chance, Ultraman threw himself on top of the machine and began pounding away at the cockpit, the brain pulsing faster as the machine jerked and shuddered, trying to shake the determined hero loose.
With a cry, Ultraman leapt off as the force shield snapped back into life. As he landed, he raised his hands and a crisp blue ring of energy formed in them before he thrust out, The Ultra Slash carved a deep gash into one of the legs of the Cerebulon war machine, sparks flying out as the machine whirred around and fired the Death Ray at the Ultra.
Ultraman quickly dove behind one of the pillars still standing, waiting as the Death Ray slowly corroded the marble platform before leaping into the air to avoid the attack, slamming his fists into the wounded leg of the machine.
The force field died down again and J seized his chance. He ran forward and sprung into the air, coating his feet in burning energy he kicked out at the cockpit, the crack of glass sounding out as the brain pulsed maniacally, the already injured leg buckling dangerously.
With a cry, both J and Ultraman kicked out at the already weakened leg and took it out completely, the shower of sparks and fire sending them scrambling back as the giant war machine toppled over, the saucer portion digging itself into the ground.
They both waited in silence for a few seconds as the saucer started to crack in various places. With a tremendous crash, the entire armor plating exploded off in gigantic chunks, showering the impromptu battlefield in flaming metal debris as long, sharp-tipped protrusions snaked their way out and stabbed into the ground. A single red eye gleamed dangerously as the Cerebulon leader lashed out with the two other tentacles, sparks flying on J’s armor as Ultraman rolled to the side to avoid the attack.
J’s chest ached but he thundered past regardless, parrying one of the sharp tipped spears and chopping at another, sparks showering across the sky as the Cerebulon skittered back and reared the machine up. The brain throbbed and with a loud crack green electricity surged outwards and coated the gigantic Kamen Rider. J screamed out in agony as the lightning attack lifted him up in the air, his body jerking involuntarily and flying away, crashing down on a building when Ultraman dove in for the save, tackling the alien machine down to the ground with a crash.
With a fierce cry, Ultraman pummeled down on the machine, sparks flying before the warrior was forced backwards by a tentacle wrapped around his throat. He gagged, gripping at the flexible metal with his fingers as the Cerebulon slowly rose up over him, glaring down at the hero before raking one of the spear-tips across his chest, sparks showering down as Ultraman gave a choked cry of pain.
One of the chunks of the gigantic war machine came hurtling through the sky and bounced off of the dome surrounding the alien machine, another crack appearing on it. Cerebulon immediately dropped Ultraman and turned its attention back to J, who charged forward and brought his fist back, the deadly energies coating it and with a gigantic screech and groan of metal, punched one of the metallic tentacles off, the thing flailing wildly as it thumped on the ground. The Cerebulon’s eye seemed to glow with anger and a high pitched whine could be heard. J braced himself for another electric attack before Ultraman shoved his ally out of the way.
The green lightning washed over Ultraman, who stood to his full height and put his hands on his hips confidently. Unaffected by the electric attack, he nodded once at J, who nodded back. It was time to finish this.
J pressed his feet into the ground and jumped with all of his might. He catapulted into the air, through the clouds and high above the battlefield. Once he got a good angle, he aimed his foot and started his descent. He soared back down to earth faster than he had risen, his foot coated in his own energies and the energy of re-entry. The Cerebulon looked up in shock unable to get out of the way as the Kamen Rider’s final attack rocketed down. He smashed through the mothership, explosions lighting up the sky as he smashed down violently onto the Cerebulon. With a sharp crack and then a roar that sounded like thunder, the J-Kick smashed the dome on the alien invader’s machine entirely. The entire machine sparked and smoked as it staggered around, before finally falling over, unmoving as the mothership crashed in the background, bathing the battleground in an orange and green light.
J walked over to Ultraman, who nodded in approval. Just as they were about to shake hands, both snapped their attention back to the Cerebulon, who was slowly crawling out of the wreckage of it’s ship. Agast, the two heroes watched in horror as tentacle-like legs kept the alien creature upright. It’s slug-like body stretching into an oversized brain, four red eyes crowded around one giant one. It flexed its scythes before screeching furiously at the two heroes.
Ultraman’s color timer began to flash red.
They gripped their fists and steadied themselves as the Cerebulon charged forward, both staggering back at the vicious and frenzied assault from the invader as it bashed down with its scythes and rolled over, slamming into both of them and sending them crashing onto the ground.
Both rolled in different directions and Ultraman briefly glanced down at his color timer, which was flashing more rapidly. He knew that his time was numbered, he would die if the battle continued any longer. Forming his arms in a familiar pose, he aimed carefully.
And waited.
J staggered back as Cerebulon’s scythes dug into his armor and gashed it violently, sparks showering the ground as he desperately tried to fight off the vicious assault. The J-Kick had left him drained, and it was his desperation that kept his sore and tired body moving. He used the momentum from a shove by the alien creature to wheel around and deliver a swift roundhouse kick to the alien, which slithered back with a sharp cry of pain. J advanced forward and slammed his fist into what he assumed was the creature’s stomach, then brought his hands up together and jackhammered the thing right on the gigantic brain it had.
Flesh and blood coated J’s hand as the creature squealed in agony. It latched onto the Rider and bit and clawed at his face and back. J flailed wildly, trying to pry the desperate alien off of him as they both fell to the ground, dust flying in the air. J cried out in alarm when another scythe slammed into his chest armor. He could feel how close the appendage was to his own heart.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Ultraman standing there, arms in a plus symbol. Unmoving. He saw the color timer flashing faster and faster and realized that they had one shot to finally end this invasion for good. Summoning every last bit of his willpower and strength, J shoved Cerebulon off with his foot and quickly scrambled back to his feet. He poured the last of his energy into his foot as he swiveled around, a sick snap was heard as Cerebulon’s mandibles and jaw broke.
Cerebulon jerked when he heard another cry behind it, and when it turned around, all 5 of its eyes went wide as the Specium Beam caught it dead center in the chest. The intense energies burned the creature, who squealed and shrieked in abject agony and horror as it felt the flesh on its body begin to melt from the impact, filling his body with alien energies until a massive explosion tore it apart. Blood and smoking flesh scattered everywhere, as the Cerebulon leader died.
Ultraman stood back up, nodding grimly at the death. As much as it pained him to cause such pain, he knew it was the only way. He walked over to Kamen Rider J, and clasped his hand firmly. The two heroes nodded at each other, then Ultraman raised his hands. “SHUWATCH!”
J watched as Ultraman soared off into the sky, back into space to charge his energies again. J himself shrank back down to normal size. He saw in the distance a Jet Jaguar with a firefighter design spraying water on the buildings. Alarms went off in the distance, and the wind blew gently.
In silence, Kamen Rider J began to walk back home, ready for the next fight.
