Godzilla: Into the Kaijuverse!

Post by Voyager »

How humiliating...

His defeat at the hands of those pathetic earth monsters shattered his ego. They'd pay for what they did. The dragon's thoughts bounced around his mind before being suddenly interrupted. New prey, new start. King Ghidorah flew downwards and inspected his latest victims. Some shark and a dinosaur. Should be easy enough. The king cackled as his thick legs connected with the grass and soil. The dinosaur turned to face the dragon followed by the shark. Yongary and Zigra were their names.

Yongary groaned as he stuck a battle pose, and Zigra followed suit. King Ghidorah's jaws crackled with lightning as he reared back, his enemies drawing in their appendages, bracing for impact. The golden god's assault was stopped however by a violently loud crack. All three kaiju looked up and saw a stream of white cloud tailing onto a shiny object. As it zoomed overhead, King Ghidorah turned back to his foes, only to find they've scrambled.

King Ghidorah couldn't hold it in anymore, and he fired his gravity beams towards a mountain. The lightning connected with the hill and it exploded into many pieces, digging themselves into the landscapes. Little did the dragon know, he'd just awoken a furious beast.

MOUNT FUJI, 1966

A Chevrolet Corvair sits on a cliffside, covered in dust and blood. As its silver surface bakes in the son, a giant yellow bird-like daikaiju lands nearby. The creature uses its small wing-like arms to pull the car apart with a hidden clawed digit. Right as it starts snatching the orange-clad corpses from the inside of the vehicle, the creature hears faint footsteps. It turns around, only to see nothing there. Suddenly, a red feather dart shoots just past the bird's head and impales a rock. On edge, the creature looks around and stretches its wings.

Another arrow comes from behind a mountain, this time hitting its target. The moa screeches, its left secondary wing bleeding profusely. It starts grabbing rocks with its remaining "arm" and chucking them in the general direction where the feather came from. Unfortunately, it doesn't sense the creature rising from the ground behind it. The kaiju, resembling a theropod dinosaur with multi-colored feathers going along its backside, grabs its target by the neck and pulls it closer.

In retaliation, the bird flies up before spinning mid-air, flinging the agressor across the barren wasteland that once was Mount Fuji. It lands near the reptilian enemy, flaring its vibrant red crest and squawking. As the attacker got up, he is pummeled by the bird-like kaiju. As a response, the grey beast punches the moa in the face. This action is met by shockwaves made by the creature's beating wings. Pinned to the ground by extremely strong gusts of wind, the hunter pushes his palm forwards. Suprisingly, the giant hexapodal bird is flung hundreds of feet away.

The bird is visibly in pain, gasping for the air that just got knocked out of its lungs. As it looks up, it sees an upright silhouette walking confidently towards its target. The reptile stops and lunges at the moa, grabbing its wing and biting into the elbow joint. As its wing bone is painfully shattered by its enemy's bite force, the yellow creature pecks a small crack in his armor. The dinosaur roars in pain before firing a pale-blue fog from its mouth, causing gravity to reverse. Understandably scared, the bird lets out a cry for help before suddenly, the mist dissipates. As the unfortunate soul falls to its death, the reptilian kaiju walks over to its location. Once he's there, he performs strange hand motions. Suddenly, the corpse gets up and looks at the dinosaur. He commands for it to march onwards into the Aokigahara forest.

The ground starts to open. Clouds fade from the sky. Mount Fuji erupts for the first time in centuries. The monster chief stops his new servant in his tracks and calls the rest. After he does this, the environment worsens and the two kaiju can't even maintain their footing. A strange screeching sound echoes throughout the area as the bird disappears from sight. Scared for the first time in years, the feathered reptile tries to claw his way back but his effort is futile. He gets sucked into a realm that no one in his timeline has known.

To be continued...

Russia, 2020

As the King outstretched his wings, a deep rumbling sounded from a nearby mountain. His serpentine necks twisted around to face the noise, and in doing so, had drawn his focus away from his targets. From the rubble, erupted a demon. The dragon of the mountain crawled out and in front of Ghidorah, who just seemed perplexed. The small creature unraveled its leathery wings, and it's whirred claws and reared up to face the golden one.

"How dare you!" The dragon roared, "You have the audacity to come to my domain and destroy it for what I can only assume to be your own pleasure, awaken me, Smaug, from my slumber, and all you do now is stare at me?"

King Ghidorah continued to stare at Smaug, keeping his eyes on every move the lizard made. Smaug bellowed before charging at the dragon. As their bodies collided, Smaug's stomach began to glow with an ominous orange. King Ghidorah's pupils retracted as flames of pure heat engulfed him. Ghidorah wailed as his scales scorched and his skin burnt.

Smaug would make sure that this new foe would pay...

Finland, Baltic Sea

With an ear-shattering boom, the metallic object crashed down to Earth. Mechagodzilla got to his feet and surveyed his surroundings. The robot's head spun around to his left and was met by a giant shark, Zigra. Although the beast toward over him, Mechagodzilla would not be turned off by the threat.

Mechagodzilla dug his feet firmly into the soil as he braced for the inevitable attack. A little gem that sat comfortably above Zigra's beak lit up, before a white beam shot out, connecting with Mechagodzilla's shoulder. The robot's shoulder was torn apart, dislodging his arm. The damaged robot quickly reformed at a breakneck pace and without trouble, it matched his old shoulder and arm. Zigra tensed as he saw his assault had no effect.

Mechagodzilla eased up before striking a more battle-ready pose. His feet sat evenly apart from each other, his arms beside his waist and his sensors locked onto the surprised shark. Mechagodzilla's hands locked into a firing position, his chest beam plate flew open, and his eyes glinted as he prepared his attack on the puny monster.

Norway

A large meteor crashed down upon the norwiegan landscape, creating a massive impact that shook the surrounding area. The area was a nice grassy landscape that probably didn't have very many people nearby. The meteor split open to reveal...well, a rather interesting subject. A humanoid, but with kaiju and mechanical features. The being shook out her white hair and adjusted the red visor on her shockingly beautiful face. Now, where was she?

The feathered reptile whizzes around in a strange void. He can see what looks like stars zooming past his body. Giant orbs containing distorted glimpses of alternate Earths. In these dark yet colorful tunnels of space, Geronimon can't move his body fast enough to halt the nauseating motion he's taking part in. Many sounds unfamiliar litter the void, such as a guttural scream that ends with a pulsating bellow and elegant, high-pitched chirps. Under the cloud of noise, the monster chief starts to hear faint squawking. Realizing it was King Moa, Geronimon attempts to find the bird's location. As he concentrates more and more, the squawking grows louder until eventually, the two are reunited. The reptile grabs his servant's leg and tries to stop the constant movement using telekinesis. Instead of slowing down, the two start to spin out of the little control they have until suddenly, KA-BOOM!!

SIBERIA, 2020

It took a few minutes for Geronimon to wake up. He finds himself in a snowy environment. About 150 meters away, King Moa lays on the side of a mountain. The theropod, barely recovering from the hard fall he just endured, limps over and helps his servant up. The undead bird wakes up, spreading its wings before crouching down. Geronimon climbs on the bird's back before pointing forwards. As his chief commands, King Moa takes off into the sky.

Deep Space, 1965

King Ghidorah flew and flew. The shame of defeat rattled his spirit and he couldn't bear it any longer. The dragon vowed to get revenge on the pterosaur, caterpillar and dinosaur, someday. As Ghidorah flew deeper and deeper into space, a piercing shriek entered his ear holes. Before Ghidorah could react, the king was swallowed by a sudden rift. Purple tunnels surrounded the floating dragon, but he had no time to choose. In a confused panic, he shot forward to the first one...

The sheer bizarreness seemed to knock Ghidorah unconscious, but soon enough, he woke up with a sudden thud.

Tokyo, 1980

Victory was sweet while it lasted. But like all good things it didn't last. Mechagodzilla Mark IV stood in the red flames, in and amongst the rubble, and corpses of simians and humans alike. He had no more purpose here. Destroying your creators is one thing, but fending off an entire army of robots like you...

MG's feet erupted with fire as he shot up into the sky.

The two kaiju scout the area from above, looking for food, water, or any signs of life. Suddenly, King Moa's wing gets a hole blown through it. The shockwave manages to knock Geronimon off his steed into the cold floor. An entire mountain is obliterated by the reptile as he falls from 300 meters up in the sky. As he gets up, two tank-like vehicles drive towards him. The satellite dishes held above the driver's seat raise up to their full height and start to glow. Right as they shoot, Geronimon turns around quickly and uses his tail to fling giant chunks of snow at them. One vehicle is destroyed while the other starts to drive circles around the kaiju.

As the feathered beast starts to track the tank, it goes the opposite direction. Before he notices, the military vehicle shoots an armor gap on his back. Geronimon roars before chucking the tank into the distance using telekinesis. King Moa catches the vehicle with its beak and eats it. After noticing the missing chunk in his servant's wing, he holds it and takes control of the genes that cause regeneration in kaiju. The cells inside King Moa get to work but Geronimon knows that they'll take a while to fully heal the wing. The monster chief builds a temporary "nest" and lights a fire using a purple fireball shot from his palm. The two feathered kaiju rest for the night, snow falling in all directions.

Minegarde

In the secluded canyon that housed the venerable Speartip Crag, a great spire of impenetrable granite that reached into the heavens, something truly massive had begun to awaken. The earth quaked, as massive rifts began to form themselves within the stone that made up the ancient gorge. Stone was pushed aside as easily as sand before the tides of the ocean, as a set of monstrous, ebony spines tore themselves free from their earthen bindings. Waves of blue-tinged liquid swelled from the deepest depths of the earth's core, quickly filling the surrounding canyon. Little stood in the way of the corrosive acid as it destroyed any form of life that dared stand before it, or was unable to escape its grasp.

A massive, cobra-like head soon tore itself free from the earth, followed by a pair of small, taloned arms and a massive chest that radiated infernal heat. the creature tore into the surrounding landscape, dragging itself along using its forelimbs and the slithering of its serpentine frame. Earthquakes intensified as the Speartip Crag found itself victim to the venerable serpent's wrath. The creature coiled its enormous body around the central stone spire, tearing ruts into it from a mixture of raw strength and body mass. The great serpent lurched its gaze towards the heavens, before loosing a ferocious bellow into the skies above that echoed across the primeval landscape surrounding it.

After untold millennia, Dalamadur had once more awoken. This time, its ire would not be so quickly satiated...

The strange humanoid being walked all the way here from her landing place. Quite an interesting place, not unlike where she had once invaded, but still different. Admittedly, she was rather bored strolling around until she heard...a commotion. Missiles, explosions, and roaring. How interesting. The being jumped up from her spot and and flew over to the commotion. This would be...interesting.

As Smaug pressed his foot into the golden drgaon’s chest, Ghidorah hatched a new plan. Smaug was suddenly distracted as his ankle was quickly snatched by Ghidorah’s left head, while his right wing was grabbed by Ghidorah’s right head. As Smaug returned his attention to Ghidorah his face was smacked with a stinging burst of King Ghidorah’s gravity beams. The lightning crackled as it burned at Smaug’s flesh.

As King Ghidorah rose to his feet he cackled. Time for the Emperor to show why he’s in charge.

===

Mechagodzilla’s arsenal suddenly opened fire and engulfed Zigra. His chest beam cut into Zigra’s soft underbelly, while his eye-beam connected with the shark’s face, disorienting the beast. Then came to onslaught of missiles.

Zigra screamed in agony as the missiles dug into his skin and exploded violently. As Zigra retaliated with a beam of his own, it proved futile. Mechagodzilla’s head whirred around and created a barrier that deflected the beam, causing the forest surrounding him to be set ablaze.

Zigra’s eyes closed as his heavy body collapsed to the floor, smoking from the wounds. Mechagodzilla turned around to face away from Zigra, and did his signature salute.

What now?

As Dalamadur traversed the great stony crags of Heaven's Mount, traveling through crevices and over great ravines, the ancient elder dragon suddenly felt an uncomfortable sensation. The fiendish serpent stopped in its tracks, sending a wave of destructive acid dripping from its fell coils. What was this... strange feeling? The great elder dragon had never sensed it before, not in its untold lifespan. It was unlike anything that had occurred in its millennia in Minegarde...

Suddenly, a rift in space-time appeared above the great serpent! Before Dalamadur could attempt to escape, the creature's very essence was pulled through the portal, causing the titan to vanish completely from sight! It's surprised and frightened roar echoed across the Heaven's Mount, before the creature disappeared from sight...

Sistan basin, Afghanistan 2020

The great serpent felt dozens of sensations. Cold... heat... coarse.... smooth... dry.... wet. As the great serpent awoke once more from its slumber however, it felt a familiar sensation: one of being buried under an enormous amount of warm, dry dirt. The creature loosed a growl in agitation as it pushed itself up from its earthen prison. But this prison was much less durable than its original .Rather than requiring intense bursts of strength, the earth seemed to fall away easily, along with creating enormous clouds of dust.

To an on-looker it would have looked like an ancient god of Sumerian myth had awoken from a millennia-long slumber, sand cascading down the head and back spines of the unfathomably huge snake. In fact, the creature's arrival had not gone unnoticed by the inhabitants of this world. Many gawked at the enormous beast before fleeing for their lives, unsure what to make of the monolithic beast. Others attempted to get a closer look before wisely turning back to avoid provoking its ire.

The massive serpent collected itself from its disorienting journey for a couple moments, before it fully pulled itself out from its sandy surroundings, kicking up an enormous sand cloud and leaving a giant rift in the earth with each movement of its body. Dalamadur's curiosity for this world had been piqued, and time would tell if it held worthy entertainment...

Geronimon wakes up in the daytime, his entire body covered head to tail in a thick layer of snow. With the minimal body function he can use, the dinosaur notices that the fire he lit last night was extinguished. As he slowly freezes to death, the feathered monster tries to generate a spark in his palm. When that doesn't work, he attempts to control King Moa again. He succeeds and uses the bird to grab his shivering body and fly off with completely-healed wings. The two fly for hours, trying their best to get out of the tundra that is Siberia.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA

King Moa lands on the top of a building, accidentally dropping its master onto the city streets. The reptilian kaiju weakly gets up, holding onto the Evolution Tower for support. As he scans, Geronimon starts to realize where they were. Right as he was about to call King Moa down, the monster chief feels something repeatedly poking his side. He turns around, only to see a few tanks. The kaiju seemingly scoffs before blowing the vehicles away with a fireball. Then, the screaming that Geronimon was all too familiar with started to echo throughout the city. The dinosaur points his finger towards the area where he heard the most screaming. As its master commanded, King Moa heads over to kill those microscopic pests. While the crowds below are picked off by the undead kaiju, Geronimon telekinetically plays with a couple planes to satisfy his emerging boredom..

TARABAK, BORNEO

A plane full of tourists has landed in the ancient Indonesian city of Tarabak. The crowd exits the aircraft and explores the ruins, some taking pictures and others secretly grabbing souvenirs to put in their houses or sell. There are many landmarks and structures that people view but the standout is in the center of the once-prospering empire. Between four cardinal pillars sits a giant skull, resembling that of a vintage Ceratosaurus depiction. On the sides of its jaw hinge, curling horns point to the sky and create a unique silhouette of a primal king.

Although its true name is unknown, most refer to the fossil by Lord Dragon. As the travellers continue to use the ruins as an outdoor museum, a strange slushing can be heard from the skull's mouth. As the humans below continue, a green slime starts to leak from Lord Dragon's mouth. The few who notice the occurence get closer and start snapping as many pictures as possible, knowing that this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Suddenly, a pair of purple eyestalks erupt from between the landmark's teeth. The mixture of giant rattling bones and thick liquids splashing against the jungle ground manage to catch the humans' attention.

Some keep snapping photos, some question if they're dreaming, but most decide to turn around and run. Yellow eyes squeeze their way out of its owner's eyestalks before turning into fangs. The spear-like objects suddenly slam into the ground, pulling its body out of Lord Dragon's maw. First comes an extra pair of eyes, then a flat snail-like body. The gastropod slowly slithers through the trees and stone buildings, shifting the legendary skull around and onto its back. It stops and looks down at the primates below as they freeze in disbelief. Suddenly, the creature's mouth shoots out of its head and lunges at the confused crowd.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA

Dozens of dozens of civilians are flung into the air by the beating wings of King Moa as it flies over and scoops them up in its keratinous mouth. Meanwhile, its psychic master spins the two airliners around in the air before being bombed by large stealth jets. Geronimon quickly crashes his toys into eachother before getting up to face those flying objects that dare interrupt him. He shoots a fireball from his palms, only for them to fly out of the way. As the aircrafts turn around and swoop in for more, the monster chief swiftly flexes his arm muscles before accepting their challenge.

Isla Nublar
One would think that there would be nothing unusual to see on a literal island of giant dinosaurs, but it seemed surprises were not an impossibility even in the proverbial lost world. A large aircraft carrier was set to take its largest passenger yet, as due to recent events plaguing the world the residents of Jurassic World were being evacuated in the name of general safety. Most of the evacuation of the workers had been completed and it was soon time to transition to the star attractions as one in particular got the "luxury" cruise as it were.

Loading up on this cargo was the Queen of Isla Nublar herself, the famed Tyrannosaurus Rex known as "Rexy" whose aged scars told more stories than words ever could. The largest of InGen's famed T-Rex line walked with imposing force behind each step as she made her way onto the reinforced carrier as she needed minimal guide when food was presented before her and soon enough they set out to the sea aiming to find a substitute home for the time being till this coming storm washed over.

However, the prehistoric apex predator had a feeling these troubles were only just beginning. And whatever seemed destined to come her way, she felt she'd be ready for it.

TARABAK, BORNEO

The humans that haven't already ran are crushed by Venus flytrap-like jaws. As Skorak devours what remained of the minuscule mammals, its eyes jolt towards the survivors who are currently reboarding their plane. The mollusk slowly slithers towards its new targets, watching them run in terror. One of the snail's eyes suddenly undergoes a grotesque transformation into a fang-like spike. After the other three follow suit, Skorak slams his eyestalks into the aircraft. The left wing, tail, and the passenger cabin get obliterated by the kaiju's claws.

The gastropod lifts the plane up before tearing it in half, sending countless passengers to their elevated doom. However, those who fall are the lucky ones. Skorak reverts its fangs into eyes and then stares at the people who are still in the plane. The kaiju lifts its eyestalks into the air before revealing its jaws once again. The maw of the slimy beast slowly opens wide before slamming shut, instantly pulverizing the plane and killing everyone inside. What used to be an aircraft gets sucked into Skorak's body along with its mouth. The snail slithers into the distance, its intention unknown but certainly dangerous.

Isla Nublar
"So, am I the only one who is wondering why this T-Rex is like some sci-fi freak giant or is that just normal to you guys?"

As the crew of the aircraft carrier escorted Rexy off Isla Nublar, one of the crewmembers seemed to ask the obvious jarring question of just how this T-Rex which would normally fit in a museum can now seemingly have become big enough to step on one. Well, as it happened to be one of the core reasons for the dinosaur relocation was a recent spill of nuclear waste along the shores of Isla Nublar that drifted towards the rivers and local water systems and began to cause some sever changes among the population.

Rexy's size being multiplied what it once was had been just the most visible example.

However, such concerns would be the smallest concern to deal with. As a storm that they feared crashed earlier and while Rexy was able to stand her ground the carrier itself could not endure the rocking waves of this aggressive tide and soon enough the whole thing crew and prehistoric passanger toppled over and became lost at sea. Accounts of who survived came back with a bleak report, and Rexy drifted from her island home across the sea towards the other side of the globe. Her sheer determination and radioactive buffs helping to keep her above water as she ended up washed upon the shores of Borneo before long.

King Ghidorah, standing high above the downed Smaug, launched his hulking mass into the air, and slammed down on the Wyvern. His feet crushed Smaug's bones and Smaug screamed just like you would. Ghidorah's left footed pressed into Smaug's chest, chest a violent snap to echo through the valley. Smaug's shattered rib cage punctured his insides, and flames erupted from the open wound and his mouth.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA

Geronimon roars at the jets, watching them fly overhead. Suddenly, an object drops from one of the aircrafts. The monster chief locks on to it, following it down into the ground. When it makes contact with the ground, the mysterious structure explodes at Geronimon's foot and sends him falling to the ground. He recovers quickly, rolling onto his stomach to see the jets cirrcling around for another attack. This time, the dinosaurian kaiju is prepared. Right before the jets can unleash more bombs, a harsh wind pushes them off-course. The culprit is King Moa, who had stopped its execution of the Russian citizens to help its master. This gives Geronimon enough time to get back on his feet. One of the bombers crashes into a nearby building but the rest stabilize and fly straight towards the two giant archosaurs.

The first one that reaches Geronimon is suddenly crumbled like paper by his telekinesis. Another stealth jet is then taken down by a fireball from the feathered reptile's hand. King Moa flies off and takes on two more, leaving only three for Geronimon to destroy. One of the flying objects takes a nosedive at the kaiju, only for him to dismantle its engine using psychic abilities. The pilot ejects in time but the giant monster notices immediately. Suddenly, the human is frozen mid-air. He looks down and starts screaming at the creature suspending him 60 meters in the air. Geronimon gets annoyed at this and chucks the pilot at one of the remaining stealth bombers. His body hits the jet's windshield, shattering the glass and turning him into nothing but a fine red mist and sparce drops of flesh-goop. Part of the ejected seat breaks off, impaling the pilot of this jet. The bomber plummets to the ground.

The final aircraft drops two bombs on Geronimon's shoulder, one of them landing right in one of its gaps. The monster chief roars in pain, blood spurting from his new wound. He waves his tail at the plane, shooting one of his feather arrows at it. The dart chips off part of the jet's wing but doesn't do anything else, leaving it to attack once again. The next bombing run is evaded by Geronimon who starts looking for a way to take this troublesome aircraft down. Eventually, he thinks of something. The kaiju starts chasing after the aircraft and when it turns, he raises his hand and smacks it out of the sky.

Meanwhile, King Moa has been dealing with the two jets. The bird starts spinning in the air, using its shockwave to repel the bombers and any bombs they drop. One of the aforementioned explosives hits its deployer, blowing it and its pilot to smithereens. King Moa stops spinning, eyeing the final military aircraft. The jet flies away and the bird kaiju follows. The stealth bomber's pilot looks back, seeing nothing but yellow feathers. Suddenly, they hear a thud and look over to see that their aircraft's wings have been punctured by claws. Specifically, King Moa is holding the jet with its secondary wings. The bird slowly gets closer to the ground, eventually scraping its target against the hard street. Eventually, the stealth jet is destroyed and joins the debris that clutters Moscow's ground-level.

Geronimon and King Moa reunite, having destroyed all of their metallic enemies. The two look at the sky, which has now turned a rich orange as the sun rises to meet the destroyed city. The feathered reptile closes his eyes, accepting victory with open arms. He may have lost the empire of undead monsters and the world he had conquered with them but this battle was a sign. A sign that Geronimon would reclaim his glory as the chief of all daikaiju.

Tarabak, Borneo
The Queen of Isla Nublar scouted her surroundings, the radioactive Tyrannosaur cautious as one would naturally be in this new environment as she rumbled ahead with seismic steps across the landscape as its senses and sharp nose pick up something close to it. Something which seemed to trigger the instinctual defensive response as she stopped as she scouted ahead. Her binocular vision served her well as another beast of rival size seemed to approach her position and it seemed to be a curious one.

A large, snail-like beast which slithered towards her area with clear yet unknown malicious intent as she doubted it noticed her arrival. Regardless, the T-Rex displayed its sharp teeth and let out a mighty roar; a roaring to this creature to divert course less it face her wrath as if she felt threatened she would show this creature no mercy circumstances be damned.

Powerful vibrations surf through the air into Skorak's skin, causing its four eyestalks to turn. There, a short while away, stands a brown bipedal creature with a noticeably-horizontal posture. The snail focused a little more. This creature subtly reminds it of its greatest trophy, the skull that lays on its backside. Skorak slightly alters his path, heading straight for his challenger. It might presume that this is Lord Dragon's descendant, and if it is, it'll either make for a new shell, a good meal, or most likely, both.

Its lower two eyes convert into fangs before slamming into the ground. Skorak suspends himself using his eyestalks, curling his body into a circular shape and causing the skull of Lord Dragon to envelop it. With its eyes set on the dinosaur ahead, the snail uses its fangs to fling it closer before slamming and repeating the process. The red mollusc maintains a suprising speed while it approaches its target. Its jaws start to open and enlarge slowly. About 200 feet away from Rexy, Skorak pulls its eyestalks back into its shell and allows it to slide the remaining distance. The ancient saurian skull shaves dirt and concrete on the ground as it heads straight towards its opponent's legs, intending to trip her and leave an opening for further attack.
