Re: Battle of the Multiverse Hub

Post by Corzak The Mighty »

Took me a while to find it (I wrote this like two years ago, cut me some slack lol), but here's Raspaganje's bio!
Spoiler:
Name: Raspaganje
Alias: Lord of Decay, The One Who Lies Beyond The Door, The Star of Calamity, The Black God, He Who Brings the Night, Wormwood
Height: Unfathomable
Length: Unfathomable
Wingspan: Unfathomable
Weight: Unfathomable
Age: 3 cycles of time (older than the current multiverse)
Gender: N/A

Appearance: Raspaganje appears a monstrous draconic entity, familiar in shape but horrific to behold. His body is immense, layered in brilliant pearly white scales and ominous black scales, each flecked with gold lining on their the undersides. Veins of glowing purple energy run through his chest, neck, and forearms leading to a massive cavity in his chest that glows with an ominous violet light. His head is crowned with a pair of blackened, upwards curling horns that are speckled with golden and ebony flakes. A pair of smaller horns extend from the sides of his head and curve upwards. His face is long and narrow, like that of a serpent, with a set of 6 reddish-hued eyes. His arms are slightly shorter than his hindlegs, and his hands are tipped in a set of vicious scythe-like talons that shimmer with speckles of gold.

Behind Raspaganje, a set of massive bat-like wings stretch outwards. The wings, when flexed, take on the shape of a seven-pointed star. The wings can be folded in such a way to be walked on as an extra set of legs, and have a pair of taloned hands on them. A long, sweeping tail stretches behind him, a row of ebony spines flecked with gold running down its length.

Personality: Raspaganje is cruel, calculating, and sadistic. Desiring nothing more than the domination of all life and the suffering of those who stand against him, Raspaganje is ruthless in his ambitions. While he has lost his bloodthirsty madness that characterized him at the end of the first cycle, he still retains his desire for conquest and his cunning. He is willing to tempt and manipulate individuals who seem useful to him, and is willing to petition those who had recently died to become members of his ever-growing legions. When roused to fury, Raspaganje utilizes all his abilities with impunity, using all within his power to smite those who accost him.

Abilities:

Prisoner to Destiny - Despite all his immense power, Raspaganje is unable to fully step into the physical world. His destruction at the end of the first cycle left him in limbo - unable to fully die yet unable to return in full, lest the cycle of the multiverse is broken completely. As much, his ability to directly influence events is heavily limited. Even with the multiverse damaged, Raspaganje's repertoire is restricted primarily to his magical abilities and his temporal abilities. One benefit of this, however, is that Raspaganje cannot ever truly die, nor can he be directly attacked; he can only be banished once more, doomed to wander the Timestream Abyss as a spectre once again.

Power of the Cosmos - Raspaganje's immense size and power gives him unimaginable physical strength and durability. Each movement of his body is capable of disrupting gravitational fields and creating spatial distortions. His body is strong enough to resist all but the most destructive cosmic phenomenon, including the collapse of a galaxy. His extreme size allows him to traverse across wide berths of space in a matter of seconds, but he himself is not able to teleport.

Light of Ruin - Raspaganje retains his control over decay, which he can mingle with his control over fell light. He can unleash devastating blasts of burning white energy in enormous qualities, which he can manifest as destructive rays of light. It is capable of withering and disintegrating anything it touches, leaving nothing but dessicated remains that crumble quickly into dust. He can also unleash blinding flashes of destructive light, allowing him to eradicate massive swathes of matter. Areas marred by his blasts of light are corrupted and malformed, leaving behind a sickly black residue that deforms the environment and corrupts living creatures into his thralls. This residue can also create massive tendrils of negative energy to grapple and rot foes. He can also wreathe his body in a swirl of black and white energy to protect himself and empower his physical strikes. Finally, any solid object that touches Raspaganje is very quickly destroyed, being pulled apart at a subatomic level.

God of Decay - Raspaganje's fell magic over decay is retained, appearing as a sickening miasma that permeates every inch around him. These clouds cause living organisms to die swiftly. He may also use his powers over decay to unleash destructive eruptions of dark energy to melt away a foe's organic form, or call down destructive spheres of bluish-white "fire" that explode in disruptive blasts of negative energy.

Lord of Death - Raspaganje controls the dead, both in corporeal form and in soul. He can animate the bodies of creatures to create abominations of nature. They can range from simple reanimated bodies, to monstrous fusions of many organisms into one body, to nightmarish entities referred to as his "Angels of Decay" - abominable masses of blackened flesh with fiendish wings. His control over death also allows him to mold the souls of the dead, either into new forms or for his own consumption. The consumption of souls gives Raspaganje strength, and helps make him more tangible and thus, "real". Having consumed two cycles of souls, Raspaganje's strength and size and become immense.

Soul's Calling - Raspaganje has the ability to peer into the souls of all living things, granting him knowledge of their very essence, but most especially their deepest fears and desires. Raspaganje uses this mostly to tempt mortals into servitude in order to better his chances of escaping the Timestream Abyss.

Timestream Manipulation - Due to his time within the Timestream Abyss, Raspaganje has gained the ability to control the flow of time in temporary bursts. Raspaganje can use this ability to undo events in a short period of time - no longer than 1 hour. This allows Raspaganje to reverse attacks, undo possible damage, and orchestrate direct events to act out favorably for him. This also allows Raspaganje to appear in many places at once, and create avatrs to do his bidding where his gaze cannot be held.

End of Days - Raspaganje's ultimate attack is a blinding flare on the same tier as the Machine of Unmaking that the Black God unleashes from his mouth. It appears as a destructive swirl of bluish-white light within his jaws that he exhales as a destructive beam. This beam of cosmic power is capable of undoing the fabric of time and space. The extent of its destructive capabilities is unknown, but if used to its full potential, it is possibly able to unravel the entirety of the multiverse.

Backstory: The so-called "Black God", Raspaganje was an all-powerful beast that single handedly conquered earth in its ancient days, subjecting humanity and nature to endure several millennia of his titanic wrath. Neither heaven or hell were able to reclaim earth during this time, as the beast kept their legions at bay. Eventually, however, his hubris proved to be his undoing; a group of powerful witches and wizards dubbed "The Order of the White Witch" destroyed his ties to the world, sealing him away, never to be freed again. However, in the 15th century, a powerful warlock named Mordred revived the cult that worshipped Raspaganje and threatened to revive the Tyrant of Decay, before the order put him down as well. It seemed as if the Lord of Decay was finally bested for good, but in the year 2055, Mordred was mistakenly reawoken after a centuries-long prophecy was fulfilled. Mordred succeeded in reviving the dark god, who threatened to plunge the apocalyptic world into chaos once more. However, he was once more defeated, never to be released again...

That is, until a disruption broke his original seal. In the Year of the Ninja, during the first cycle of time, the tyrannical ninja known as the "Young Man" freed Raspaganje on accident, allowing him to roam the multiverse once more. Hellbent on corrupting all life into his image, Raspaganje allied himself with the Young Man, planning to betray him and gather the powers of a true god. When the final battle came, Raspganje betrayed the Young Man and claimed his Heart of the Multiverse for himself, before corrupting the Core of the Multiverse and ascending to true godhood. Before his dominance could be completed, however, the heroes of the original timeline removed the Heart of the Multiverse from his body and threw him into the Core, destroying him utterly.

However, his destruction by the core was not his end. Pulled into the void beyond the current multiverse - the Timestream Abyss - Raspaganje found himself a new home to rebuild within. Desperate to return, the Black God began to gather those who had been slain or destroyed in the first, second, and third cycles of time, and absorbing the souls of countless others as he did so. Now, Raspaganje waits for his chance to be freed from his prison in the Timestream Abyss and rule the multiverse as its one true god...

Look at those stats, holy shit . Yeah, this definitely feels like a mid-season finale or something, lol. Well done, Corzak, I very much enjoyed that!

On a different note: My plan to add in Aphrodite's post last week kind of, uh... Failed . But, I will try to have a new post up with her included by the end of today, so MB won't have to wait for that piece anymore.

I must say I am feeling really out of my scope with this flashback post. Like, I have been brewing the idea for quite a while but balancing between a fair pace that's not like 10,000 words long to fit an RPG and taking a month and not feeling like it's rushed... kinda rough.

Enough of that. Gira, Corzak are we good enough on what was talked about over PMs for me to get going on my next post?

Okay, I stopped being lazy.
Godzilla165 wrote: Thu May 27, 2021 7:49 amBut alright, how’s about a quizlet round 2, but with even tougher questions this time??? Let’s see how well everyone’s been paying attention, yeah :P?
Bold of you to assume I even pay attention to anything.

1. How did Dante and Aphrodite first meet? How old was Dante at the time?
And we're off to a great start, with my first answer being "I forgot".

2. What item of clothing can Daeva absolutely not stand to wear unless she has to?
ajskdjaskff

3. The ninjas each have different names for their respective Ki blasts. What are they?
sjdjshjdkhakfasdal

4. How do the ninjas view Owlzarus?
He's like a poppa birb to them.

5. What is the name of Dante’s most powerful form?
Nova Dante.

6. Aphrodite has three distinctive weapons that she uses. What are they, and what are the names of each?
Bow Olympia (most likely a bow), WhiteFang (a gun) and the Bolt of Zeus (a thing).

7. Where did Dante go to settle his score with the Inferno Demon once and for all? What did he gain from this?
Idk I didn't read that because my trash heap of an attention span saw lots of text and got scared.

8. Evron owes Ubel something. What is it?
A new speaker, 'cause he threw a fork at it.

9. How did Ubel get his scar over his right eye?
No clue, but that's something he could share with Koko during a scar story session.

10. What promise did Evron make to Evoex?
He'd fix him.

11. What item did Dante confiscate from the Robinsons?
The void gun that renovated their house.

12. Daeva is the fastest being in the multiverse. How fast can she travel?
Hyper Speed.

13. What is the hypothetical “velocity” that surpasses even the above answer?
The velocity of a Koko when someone talks sh"/ about her little sister and she goes to curbstomp that mofo.

14. How does Vale like her food?
Presumably good.

15. Who is Aphrodite’s long lost half brother? Where is he rumored to be now?
sjdfksjfksdfakdfklaf

16. Both Vale and Alexei have tattoos that cover their arms, both for Vale, and just one for Alexei. What do these markings help to do?
Channel their ki.

17. What loving phrase did Tiamat used to call Dante?
"My little emerald".

18. What does Evron enjoy that comes in a variety of different flavors?
I'm just going to say popsicles because why not.

19. If all of the ninjas are away from home, then who is automatically in charge?
Manny.

20. What is Ubel petrified of?
Koko's hubby.

21. Aphrodite is known for baking an amazing pastry. What is it?
I'm just going to say pie because I have dumb in my head and that's all I can think of.

22. Why did Dante run away from home right after being crowned king?
The responsibilities were so much for him to take on.

23. Instead of fighting, Ubel likes to try and do what first?
Talk.

24. Dante is a Ninja Prime. What is that, exactly?
Basically the leader of the ninjas. The most respected.

25. What did the two photos that Aphrodite showed Yzazil consist of when she gave him a tour of the estate?
They were cewt family photos.

26. Which of the ninjas can't handle even a sip of alcohol?
Daeva. Koko understands her. Glaxion thinks they're both milk drinkers.

[Bonus questions]: What ninja would you have to help you move? Who would you trust with your deepest darkest secret? Who would you ask to give you fashion and relationship advice? And, who would spend a day hanging out with?
Ubie. But he's more likely to ask me for relationship advice because I'm the one who knows everything about his waifu.

Edit:

Glaxion: (0:27)

^ I love how (whether intentional or not), Fray's mannerisms, or... Daevaisms, are just a hair off to where it's almost uncanny valley territory in a way lol. Her little speech patterns also help to sell that like, this is Daeva, but also... Not .

In any case, I think it's time that revealed the answers to the quiz. Answers are in bold.

1. How did Dante and Aphrodite first meet? How old was Dante at the time? When he ran away from home. Dante was 18 at the time. Crazy story, ask one of them to share it with you.

2. What item of clothing can Daeva absolutely not stand to wear unless she has to? Socks, shoes/any kind of footwear really.

3. The ninjas each have different names for their respective Ki blasts. What are they? Dante- Ki Wave. Evron- Ki Surge. Ubel- Ki Eruption. Daeva- Ki Storm.

4. How do the ninjas view Owlzarus? Like a floofy papa!

5. What is the name of Dante’s most powerful form? Nova Dante. More specifically, it goes: Base (which he's in 99% of the time), full power, limit break, angel, and Nova.

6. Aphrodite has three distinctive weapons that she uses. What are they, and what are the names of each? Bow Olympia (great bow), WhiteFang(modular sniper rifle), and Zeus's bolt turned Aphrodite's bolt (magical lightning bolt).

7. Where did Dante go to settle his score with the Inferno Demon once and for all? What did he gain from this? He went to the blackhole that Marise is sealed inside of. He gained both his angel form, and his new companion, the Celestial Angel.

8. Evron owes Ubel something. What is it? A new speaker, 'cause of what BB said. Forks and speakers don't really go together.

9. How did Ubel get his scar over his right eye? So this one was definitely a, 'blink and you'll miss it' detail in I believe Dante's bio. Basically, sparring accident between Ubel and Dante when the latter was in his angsty teen phase. Ironically enough, this knocked him completely out of that, and Dante feels guilty about that scar to this day. Ubel thinks it makes himself look cooler.

10. What promise did Evron make to Evoex? He'd fix him right up. Don't worry, Evo, he hasn't forgotten ;).

11. What item did Dante confiscate from the Robinsons? The void gun that nearly erased their house. Evron still hasn't followed up with them about that yet, the slacker.

12. Daeva is the fastest being in the multiverse. How fast can she travel? Hyperrrrr Speed.

13. What is the hypothetical “velocity” that surpasses even the above answer? Hyper Omega.

14. How does Vale like her food? Scorching hot!

15. Who is Aphrodite’s long lost half brother? Where is he rumored to be now? Kratos. He's apparently living in Midgard with BOI.

16. Both Vale and Alexei have tattoos that cover their arms, both for Vale, and just one for Alexei. What do these markings help to do? Focus/channel their Ki.

17. What loving phrase did Tiamat used to call Dante? "My little emerald". I'm gonna cry .

18. What does Evron enjoy that comes in a variety of different flavors? Cigars. Ya'll are lucky that I didn't ask what his favorite flavor was.

19. If all of the ninjas are away from home, then who is automatically in charge? Manny the Man.

20. What is Ubel petrified of? Cute answer, BB... But no . Gamma sharks. Don't talk about them in front of him.

21. Aphrodite is known for baking an amazing pastry. What is it? Her famous cupcakes.

22. Why did Dante run away from home right after being crowned king? He couldn't bear all of the stress and responsibilities.

23. Instead of fighting, Ubel likes to try and do what first? Talk things out.

24. Dante is a Ninja Prime. What is that, exactly? The highest, most respected form and title that a ninja can achieve. The leader.

25. What did the two photos that Aphrodite showed Yzazil consist of when she gave him a tour of the estate? Adorable family photos! One of a picnic with Tiamat and the siblings, the other being a portrait of the four.

26. Which of the ninjas can't handle even a sip of alcohol? The lightweight herself: Daeva.

P.S.P.S: Currently working on my post as we speak. Will try to have it done tonight if everything works in my favor lol.

Connectivity issues have been murder lately. I guess a fire broke out somewhere important for my internet, but I only heard this secondhand. Color me surprised I could post during a thunderstorm of all things.

Hey man, I feel you there. I just had a fire a couple weeks ago knock out my internet. It's that time of the year.

Not even a fire on my end, but a power surge did mess up some stuff for us over here for a few days. Luckily, it was able to be replaced pretty quick so our internet is up and running again, but Christ man . Luckily you two are safe though!

So random story time: I was rewatching Infinity War the other day with a couple friends, and we came upon the big fight on Titan. During it, I kind of just sat there thinking to myself, “man, like a good 95% of the characters in BotM would’ve handed Thanos his ass by now” lol.

Like, the ninjas, either individually or together, would’ve ended the fight before it even started.

Tengri would use his control over metal to outright take the gauntlet from Thanos, and then trap him in his own armor.

Koko would maul him and then use the gauntlet metal for extra parts.

Demmy would give the Titan hell.

Cercil or Mulek would lay the smack down.

Yzazil or Immanuel would probably just vaporize his ass.

Dea would pummel him whilst making fun of his unfortunately shaped chin.

Jake would do the same, before destroying every last bit of him.

Evoex would probably trap him in a text box.

Chang’e would cease the gauntlet from ever existing, and then turn Thanos into a marionette without moving a finger.

Long story short, I think our cast would have the universe back safe and sound, and would all be drinking tea and mead at the ninja’s house by noon .

Yeah the guys in BotM are pretty damn strong compared to the Avengers. It'd be a pretty easy clap. :P

Also, I'd like to apologize for the delays on my post, been busy with holiday stuff this weekend. Hopefully I can get it up by tomorrow!

Fray isn't having a great day, you guys.

Though I guess it's better than Molly's.

I think Fray is holding her own pretty well, all things considered! But I bet Daeva will wish that she went with her afterwards.

I honestly would take her or Molly's bad day over Dea's though, my god. Her soul is at peace, but her body absolutely did not get the same treatment, did it?

EDIT: Sounds good, Corzak, looking forward to reading what you've got!

This just a perfect solution for Evoex. He doesn't have it in him to actually kill anything.
