The fact that he made it out of the volcano he either swam through lava or survived the eruption, and considering he made it out unscathed means that at the very least lava can't hurt him. Plus, the Fire Monster's fire, which was implied to be much hotter than lava, didn't hurt him, either.
First of all, Godzilla dove into the wall, burrowing his way out. Second of all, fire doesn't hurt to much when you can just sink into the water cause it was an aquatic battle.
Zilla Jr is just a sleeker, faster Godzilla from showa. He's impressive, sure, but has limited regeneration, cause as far as we know, Showa Goji never caught a common cold like ZillaJr. And he's taken toxins much more deadly then ZillaJr did.
He blasted through Q's nest.
A beam that can fire through buildings and shit, taking out a small rock ledge. Veeeeery impressive. What's more impressive? A similar sized ledge holding up Toho's 1984 Godzilla and it only broke away when explosives went off. Gee.

The ledges caved in and the walls were out of reach.

Here, here, here, and here we see him make direct contact with the Fire Monster's flames without getting hurt during the fight that took place on land.

You're ignoring the rest of the feat. Why?

Only going to reply to this section, cause it's the only one worthy of it, sorry.

... For someone who is an expert on Zilla, you don't seem very knowledgable about him.
Zilla can jump. He can jump far distances. He also likes to dive into the soil and rock to burrow. Not only that, but when he was in the volcano after Queen B, he was on several rock outlettes inside the lava flow. Not only did he have the option to do a leaping burrowing dive, but he also could have just simply, tunneled his way out of the volcano.

He's done leaping burrows through the ground, but I don't remember him being able to defy gravity long enough to do so through a vertical wall. Plus, if they were in a lava chamber, it's entirely possible there was more magma underground.

It's irrelevant anyway because he's already tanked worse than lava.

But was taken out by less then lava. Many times. Look, I love Toonzilla as much as I love the Showa Godzilla, but there's a lot of things that play up to the weaknesses more then strengths.

No, he was never taken out by anything less than lava.

Chemical weapons and electricity are entirely different forms of damage. Conventional chemical explosives can reach temperatures as high as 5000 degrees C compared to lava's 600-1200 degrees C in addition to impact and fragmentation.

Very very slow regen. It was mentioned in like, one episode. When he got stung by Teh-Se-Go.

There are at least 3 instances of him regenerating from near death to full strength in the span of a few seconds.

I assume one of those is the Medusa incident? That wasn't regen. That was legit dehydration and Zilla just drinking.

Did you know dehydration hinders the healing process? It's why Toonzilla's body was almost instantly restored the moment he started drinking water again. In other words, unless you think the water somehow granted Toonzilla super regenerative abilities, it stands as a very impressive regenerative feat.

Then there's the time we saw Toonzilla heal a nasty wound right before our eyes. It happened in his fight against Ts-eh-Go, the giant scorpion. When it comes to healing superficial wounds, Toonzilla's regeneration is better than Heisei Godzilla's.

Yeah, the wound that remained open until he was soaked in the venom sucking mud... And please, vine spear spewing acid through the hand and instantly healed with in seconds is somehow less impressive then...drinking water...

Because that's how long it took to extract the acid countering his regeneration...

What's your point? To-eh-Go's venom was neutralizing Toonzilla's regeneration. After the mud removed the venom, Toonzilla's cells healed the damage within seconds.

Heisei Godzilla's regeneration feat is most certainly impressive. However, that doesn't excuse your poor attempt to misrepresent my point. Medusa severely dehydrated Toonzilla, as depicted by my screen captures. After drinking water, Toonzilla's entire body regenerated the damage within seconds.

Then those humans Medusa dehydrated and were blasted with water must have Toonzilla's same regeneration! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW, TOM

I think we can put the humans instantly recovering from dehydration down to 'lazy writing' as opposed to some actual feat.

Humans and giant monsters are two separate things. Though this dehydration thing is becoming something of interest. Both the people and Toonzilla recovered using the exact same method in the exact same space of time, so it's hard to tell if Toonzilla's instant rehydration is a notable feat, or the result of lazy 90's writing.
