Though, J can actively grow large from small scale, while if I remember correctly, Ultraman and Ultraseven don't usually do so in battle during the Showa era.

I think it’s for balancing. Like what are some of the fighters meant to do against a 40 metre tall Ultraman? His spacium beam would disintegrate foes at that size.

But when J grows in size, all it does is make a kaiju sized superhuman with no notable powers or abilities. So it might be fair to allow him to grow.

He could still casually one-shot almost anyone here just by stepping on them. His durability would be off the charts, too; what would guns or missiles or even tanks and gunships be able to do to him?

And this is precisely why he won't be allowed to grow.

That does take away the one thing that makes him unique, but it's fair so who am I to complain?

He was meant to be removed and teamed up woth Fal.

Out of curiosity, why was the reward for winning just 150$? In round 5 everyone who won got 300$, I had assumed that was the normal now.

Bacon suddenly became the biggest dog in the fight. Magneto is a freaking monster with the power to casually slaughter some of the other teams' heaviest hitters and disarm or disrupt a bunch of other fighters. Even Ultra-Heavy Reinforcements won't do anything more than give him a bunch of metal wreckage to weaponize.
