A lot of the toy companies putting things out have revealed one or two items. You're best bet is to look through the galleries on ToyArk to see everything. But non-toy wise, Rubies advertised some cool new costume stuff. They have a thread in the Toy section with pictures.

I was hoping for an update on the Squishmallows they dropped the existence of in an interview. Oh well.

While the merch panel has came and gone, worth noting that a bunch of comics are being announced as we speak. Check the comics forum for more info, but Godzilla Rivals: Biollante vs Destoroyah was announced as well as a continuation of “Monsters and Protectors”.

I would say it´s the best place to do so. If your franchise has fans around the world and if you want to reach all of them there is no better place than this convention imo.

No better place than in a country where probably 99.9% of the people attending won't even be in Japan to see it when it comes out? Seems pointless. Save something like that for a Japanese con.

Well, we got some merch, some comic announcements, and uh… I guess the Wyatt and Kurt announcement always counts. No news about Godzilla SP which is disappointing.

Legion1979 was pretty much right. The copium inside my says that we can look forward to an announcement this November :)

But like i said, why would they choose SDCC to announce anything that's coming out first in Japan when the SDCC crowd is absolutely not the initial audience for the show? It will be eventually when SP streams here, but it would be like announcing a new season of, say, Stranger Things at a Japanese convention. There's no logic in it.

Oh, cool! I was just wondering today if we were gonna get a M&P follow-up. Nice!
