What Is Your Opinion On The Godzilla Ultima Design?

Everything is great but the face is absolute trash, I can't get over the close beady eyes. He doesn't look scary to me, he looks like a muppet.

I think he looks awesome, especially after seeing his full appearance in the show. Combined with the new theme and atomic breath, he's a worthy Godziller. He's pretty much a leader too! They nailed their goal by making him intimidating.

I like how his face looks inspired by the '54 puppet, atleast to me. Overall, it's nice to have a Godzilla that looks invokes a more traditional look. Yeah, he's very exaggerated and strange looking with his own quirks, but it's the different coloration between the body and dorsal plates, as well as the fangs that look classic. Wish he had the ears though.

And when you watch the show, you'll know what I mean by it's nice to have a tradtional looking Godzilla

They skreeonked up in the way the jaws are shaped.

The shape of the mouth, ESPECIALLY that pelican-scoop lower jaw, puts me off the design.

I'll reserve final judgments for the series to conclude but I think the design looks a little awkward as just a render but works really well in action. I think the mouth is ugly, but it works and Godzilla looks like a ferocious monster, versus a sympathetic creature, a thing that shouldn't exist, or an alpha predator. It serves it's role well.

There's reasons I suspect for giving him those body proportions as well. Honestly, the design looks more "normal" than a lot of other incarnations we've had (Shin, G200 and even Legendary). It's a tad ironic that for whatever reason the most standard-looking Godzilla we've had in years is generating controversy.

Because if you shrink that fat ass a little everything else in the body is pretty much proportionate to everything else.
