Opinion of all the Showa suits

[Voyager]

ShodaiGoji: It's a classic. But I'm not a big fan of it. I don't like the face from certain views and although Shodai looks haunting in some shots it doesn't save it for me.

GyakushuGoji: One of the worst suits. I think the puppet is better.

KingGoji: Another classic, but this time I actually like it. I like the side view, but it looks a bit goofy from the front.

MosuGoji: My favourite and best suit ever.

SanDaikaiju: What a downgrade. It's not bad however.

DaisensoGoji: Not a fan, looks a bit too much like cookie monster.

NankaiGoji: He looks like a crusty, drugged up version of Daisenso.

MusukoGoji: Eww.

SoshingekiGoji: Another great suit. It definitely takes inspiration from MosuGoji. It's my second favourite suit.

MegaroGoji: A bit too friendly for me. But I don't hate it.

MekaGoji: A more improved MegaroGoji.

MekaGyaksuhuGoji: My third favourite Showa suit. I love the pissed off face.

Gyakushu - Don't feel one way or the other
King - It's been growing on me
Mosu - Best after the original
Daisenso - Underrated
Musuko - Soshingeki should have arrived a year early
Soshingeki - My hero
Megaro - Charming but prefer the above

Shodai - Solid design, iconic as hell
Gyakushu - Slimmed down version of Shodai, not quite as good.
King - Something really bulky and reptilian about this, love the eyes.
Mosu - Perfection, love the serpentine neck and those eyebrows.
Daisenso - Okay
Musuko - Should have made Minya look like Godzilla rather than the other way around.
Soshingeki - Perfection as well, something about this works in the mammalian features in a way that clicks.
Megaro - I've grown to like it, but not my favorite.

Shodai- One of my top five all time suits. It's THE Godzilla. I've always loved the head and the spine pattern has always been a favorite.
Gyakushu- I like it because I paid $75 for the Memorial Box figure.
King- 2nd favorite suit ever. He's big and bulky and looks like he's made for brawling. My quintessential Showa Godzilla. I love his dumb frog face.
Mosu- I like it, but the thinner barrel body is sort of a downgrade from King. Awesome head though.
Daiseno- Weakest Showa suit for me because it's neither super good or laughably bad. Just kinda meh.
Musuko- I really like it because it looks like a grouchy old father. It may be awful looking, but this suit fits Godzilla's role in Son of Godzilla perfectly. Also SoG is one of my favorite Showa movies.
Soshingeki- It's fine. Pretty iconic but he's got some wonky proportions. Cool Bandai figure though.
Megaro- I like it for the dopey hero Godzilla role. Again it fits his role in Megalon perfectly. Same for the 74 version. My favorite version of this suit is the 75 version, but oddly enough doesnt feel it fits its role as well as the previous two because of the darker nature of ToM. He looks a little more angry but he's still adorable.

Shodai: Pretty good but the googly eyes make him look off sometimes
Gyakushu: A serious downgrade as well as the worst Godzilla design to date
King: It's a bumpy pear with a dopey lizard head. I don't get what people see in this one.
Mosu: MosuGoji is love, MosuGoji is life.
SanDaikaiju: Not a masterpiece like it once was but still pretty good.
Daisenso: Just a meh.
Musuko: I am in the majority that this suit isn't that good.
Soshingeki: The body's pretty good but I'm not the biggest fan of the head. It's another meh.
Megaro: I actually like the head. Perfectly fits the more heroic portrayal of Godzilla.
Meka: Not so sure about this one. It looks really weird.
MekaGyakushu: Ew.

I’ve taken way more of a liking to MegaroGoji and it’s variants as of late. So much of a liking it’s my favorite Showa suit/design now.
