Team Heisei Kaiju vs. Team Titans *bad-dum-ching*

Post by HillyHulk »

Fire Rodan, Godzilla (Heisei, Supercharged), King Ghidorah (Heisei), and Mothra (Heisei) vs. Godzilla (Monsterverse), King Ghidorah (Monsterverse), Mothra (Monsterverse), and Rodan (Monsterverse)

Rule:
"Supercharged) means Godzilla Heisei from 1991 onwards
Meltdown Godzilla available, but only when Mothra dies for the Burning Godzilla process.
Rodan's death gives Godzilla is Spiral Fire Ray.

Verdict:
What team Heisei lacks in melee (which will make things ugly when things get close), they make up for firepower since a majority of this team is beam reliant as per the fights of that era in general. With Heisei Ghidorah's gravity beams combined with the Uranium Heat Beams chasing around and likely hitting MV Ghidorah as well as bringing down Rodan and Mothra with enough hits/by being hit in Rodan's case, Mothra should have a window of opportunity to help Godzilla against Monsterverse Godzilla in regards to his atomic ray.

The Rodan's aren't going to last long. The first is tougher than his Heisei counterpart and his beam is going to be a pest, but he doesn't have the power to be anything other than bothersome with his tackling and pecking. The other Rodan, meanwhile, is a vicious little b@$+@4d but his weak durability means getting in a fight with the big boys like Godzilla is a bad idea. He'll leave a good amount of them hurting, but a nuclear pulse or gravity beam will leave him out for the count.

Heisei Mothra will be a significant help with her being beam reliant as well as her defense, but getting close to these Titans will leave her hurting badly. Monsterverse will be pretty tough to catch thanks to aerial speed and mobility in comparison to the Heisei flyers. However, she too isn't enough for the bigger Heisei combatants especially Godzilla since Nuclear Pulses will rip the web to pieces and the durability means she won't cut into him fast enough when especially with Spiral Fire Ray at play fighting the other two major players at bay with the amount of force.

Then it comes down to the Ghidorahs and Godzillas. King Ghidorah from Heisei will be overpowered by the other two even with their strength and toughness, but they could provide a decent distraction thanks to those two things and flying alongside effective enough beams... and then Burning vs. Meltdown comes into play. Ghidorah will burn like kindling during Burning's intense flame, but that might work against the Titans. Meltdown Godzilla combined with a kaiju emitting intense heat to damage those around it will probably accelerate the heat process of Godzilla in which everybody loses. If they can beat him before that happens they win, and with two Titans excelling in hand-to-hand working in tandem there is a good chance for that to happen. I give it to team Titans... : :godzilla: , :KingGhidorah64: , :Mothra61: , & :Rodan56: vs. :g2k:, :KingGhidorah64: , :Mothra61: , & :Rodan56:

Team Chad Heisei curbstomps Team Titans in a minute thirty at most. Heisei Ghidorah will let the beams start flying like crazy while his durability is superior to that of his MV counterpart; Heisei Godzilla’s atomic ray is a nasty explosive weapon to contend with, to say nothing of him spamming it, his healing factor and nuclear pulse are gonna give anyone who fights him hell, and he can conduct energy through his physical blows; Heisei Mothra is just straight up the most powerful and versatile incarnation of the character and will beam spam and poison powder her enemies to death while reflecting their beams back at them (if she fights MV Godzilla or Ghidorah); and Heisei Rodan will downright brutalize whoever’s unlucky enough to fight him. With the possible exception of MVGoji, whoever fights Fire Rodan is straight up doomed—and if it just so happens to be MV Rodan… … …Lord Blundergosh and Paul Reiser help the poor suicidal little sh*t.

MV Mothra’s only effective weapon is her stinger, and she’s unlikely gonna get a chance to use it with the opponents she’s fighting. She’s the smallest and lightest incarnation of the character, and one solid blow or beam attack from any one of her opponents will kill her. MV Ghidorah is good at melee, but his durability is pretty lacking compared to other incarnations of the character, and in this battle that will be his hard downfall. MV Godzilla is a tough melee fighter high on the durability scale, but he’s never faced opponents as versatile, tough and with such powerful ranged attacks as four of the strongest Kaiju in the Heisei era—and unlike most Godzilla incarnations, he has no healing factor. And MV Rodan is the weakest player here. One beam or hard-hitting melee attack, and he’s out of the fight. He is absolutely dead no matter who he fights.

Heisei Godzilla vs LPG is going to take a LOOONG time, so let's put that to the side and focus on the other matchups. Not that it really matters, since Heisei kinda lacks the reliable means to effectively put down LPG in a timely manner, while LPG can brawl the hell out of his thunder thighs counterpart and take any number of beams for a good while.

The Mothras is decisively in MV's favor. Heisei Mothra may have more firepower per say with her beams and reflecting scales, but she's an immobile flying tub of lard compared to MV Mothra, who will be flying circles around her and dominating her. One sting is all it's going to take to put down the oversized stiff plushie moth, which will allow Mothra to go help out someone else.

The Rodans as far as I am concerned is a coinflip. Both are nasty in melee, and Fire Rodan has his Uranium Beam to blast the MV counterpart down, but if things do go up close and personal, which they will, I can see MV Rodan coming out of that collision on top, seeing how he actually was winning the head to head against Ghidorah until Ghidorah put those three heads to use. Even if we assume Fire Rodan comes out ontop... there's still Mothra who is going to be quickly flying in to help, and Fire Rodan himself won't be having too much of a fun time even if he quickly kills off Mothra, for very obvious reasons once Burning Godzilla begins dropping his fiery mixtape.

Then there's the Ghidorahs, and this is one where the superior one is pretty cut and dry. Both have average beam attacks, nothing special except for MV Ghidorah's triple barrage has a lot more kinetic force than Heisei Ghidorah's, so Heisei Ghidorah is going to get sent tumbling back if all three beams slam into him. And then there's the issue of better melee, and MV Ghidorah absolutely eclipses his Heisei counterpart in that regard. Though again, like the Godzilla matchup, this one doesn't really matter until either Rodan or Mothra dies, because regardless of which one happens first, the end result will be the same.

Let's assume that Fire Rodan goes down first. Heisei gains access to the Spiral Ray and begins flooring LPG with them. We know LPG can easily take a few of those beams, given he at least survived MG's Proton Scream and was still capable of fighting even after that and even more curbstomping. Mothra's going to dive in trying to help out LPG, and either she and LPG succeed in subduing Heisei and knocking him out, or she gets vaporized... and then LPG goes Burning, and everything goes horribly, HORRIBLY wrong for Team Heisei. Those nuclear pulses will decimate everyone and everything around him, including Heisei Ghidorah, and there's nothing Heisei can do about it, given LPG at that point was no selling Ghidorah's triple gravity bolts, even the kinetic aspect of them. He's just plain dead, and if MV Mothra dies first? Then Rodan's going to be joining the list of casualties to the nuclear pulses going off. There's just no way Team MV loses this in my opinion.

I say it every time a Heisei vs Monsterverse FM comes up: MV kaiju are hard counters to Heisei kaiju. Heisei kaiju, in general, are relatively awful at melee. But because they're still very durable and have excellent firepower, that's more than enough to let them come out on top against other suitmation kaiju most of the time. But MV kaiju, freed from the constraints of suits, are in a completely different league when it comes to their mobility, and that would allow them to dominate the incredibly inflexible Heisei kaiju. There's little a Heisei kaiju can do in the face of something that is fast, strong, and aggressive enough to bowl them over in an instant. They simply lack the ability to either get back up or effectively retaliate when they're constantly getting beaten into the ground. Likewise, in the event that a Heisei kaiju does manage to topple a MV kaiju, the MV kaiju can easily get back up before the Heisei kaiju can properly capitalize and press the advantage. The likes Showa Gigan or Titanosaurus would put up better fights against MV kaiju than most Heisei kaiju would, despite them being much weaker on paper.

I was writing up a response, but yall both explained it beautifully.

I would like to say to me, it really doesn't matter who fights who because MVKG and MVG have this in the bag. They have the melee and Godzilla has the beam to END any kaiju they fight. Even Godzilla Heisei with the Sprial ray isn't a guaranteed winner because ol Mothra dies and he's gone.

Tbh, I honestly find this overkill.

Titans, like IR said, are counters to Heisei Kaiju, and their overwhelming prowess up-close is going to be Heisei’s downfall.
