Godzilla Ultima vs Kong (MV) (SP Spoilers)

Let’s see how well Kong does against the other 2021 Godzilla.

Godzilla Ultima VS Kong (MV)

Arena: Red Dust covered Tokyo

Rules: Kong has his axe.
Ultima is 100 meters tall.

Verdict: Kong’s only real shot is the axe being supercharged. If he can block a beam from Ultima and then swing the axe at a vital spot like the neck, he may be able to win. But, if Kong loses his grip on the axe or fails to block a beam from Ultima, he’s going to be in for Hell. Ultima’s beam at the point he is in this fight is like a more lethal Shin’s, Kong cannot afford to get hit by it at all. In melee without a supercharged axe, I also feel like Kong is at a disadvantage, Ultima’s not as physically strong or fast as MV Godzilla, but he’s still surprisingly fast and pretty dang aggressive.

This isn’t a fight, it’s a straight up curbstomp in Godzilla’s favor.

The thing about Ultima’s beam is that it is very much heat based in its use. It’s not explosive, but it does melt clear through whatever it hits. As such, that beam is going to burn a lot if it hits Kong head on without his axe. Even in melee, this version of Godzilla relies on biting and tail swipes alongside his beam. He goes straight for a bite first and tail swipes to knock down his enemies to then hit them with his ray. Ultima is basically a more melee using Shin, but with less beams. And if he can get his jaws around Kong, it’ll probably end up like with Legendary with Kong being tossed around and trying to avoid that beam.

Yeah, nah, Kong's got this. Ultima has a strong beam but that's about all he's got going for him. Well, and his regen I guess but we don't really see that at work outside of Terrestris. He's not helpless in melee, but he's not all that good at it either. Like, at one point he just kinda stood there while JJ punched him in the face several times. He's nowhere near as fast as MV Godzilla, and his physical attacks pack far less power. Once Kong's axe gets charged Godzilla's gonna be in for a world of hurt.
