Godzilla vs Kong but Godzilla’s out there and he’s hurting people and we don’t know why

Post by ShinGojira14 »

Godzilla

VS

King Kong

MechaGodzilla

Rules: Standard MonsterVerse Scaling; No retreat.

Battleground: Tokyo.

Verdict: Both Kong and MechaGodzilla are going to give Big G absolute HELL in melee combat. MechaGodzilla’s atomic ray is nothing to scoff at, his melee capabilities are gonna leave Godzilla howling in painful frustration and Kong is fast and agile and will dodge a lot of Godzilla’s attacks while retaliating viciously in kind. However, despite both of their speed and brutal physical offense, Godzilla’s ranged offense and physical defense will ultimately lend him triumph in the end in the form of A: his healing factor which will render any injury his opponents give him useless, and B: his EXTREMELY POWERFUL atomic breath which, when it hits, will cripple either opponent at least. And once they get in close enough that Godzilla uses that nuclear pulse of his, and the fight’s over.

Long Live the King.:g2k:

They’ll whip Godzilla around and beat on him, but they can’t really do anything else. Their only option to actually beat him would be Kong breaking his jaws, and that’s not happening for a few reasons. Kong can’t exactly get on the back of a creature with fuck-off huge spikes on its back, Godzilla does have arms he can actually use in combat so he could claw and punch at Kong while Kong tried to do it, and because Godzilla’s jaws are probably quite a bit hardier than the V-Rexes and that took Kong a while to break, time a-plenty for Godzilla to charge a ray that will go through Kong like… well it’ll just go through him, that’s that. Assuming the jaw break would even put Godzilla down, he might be able to regen it, though we don’t see him regen anything of that level so we can’t say for sure.

That's all you can say.

Kong 2005 and RPOMG are good fighters as in actually fighting but their durability and actual like output in what they dole out is poor, especially against one of the toughest Godzillas when it comes to actually laying down meaningful hits. Add the beam and they're done for.
