Monsterverse Godzilla vs Hyper Gyaos Swarm

Post by GodzillavsRayquaza »

The Alpha Titan

VS.

Shadow of Evil

Arena: Tokyo

Rules:
- 7,500 Hyper Gyaos
- GvK Godzilla
- No retreat
- Hyper Gyaos are assumed to have reasonable weights for their size

Verdict: Abstaining, too close for me to call. Godzilla’s beam would slice through the Gyaos swarm like a knife through butter, but he is going to be in absolute agony very quickly once they fire back and once they descend upon him. He’s immensely durable and hard to keep down, but this is a lot even for him.

I think the numbers make this an easy win for the Gyaos.

Even if the Sonic Scalpel isn't that effective, Seventy Five HUNDRED Gyaos is just wayyyy too many for a single monster to fight. If a few hundred fire their beams at once, Godzilla will be in for hell. If this was burning Godzilla, then I think the pendulum swings back to the monster king, but just base form MV Godzilla can't take that many.

You can focus on it, and try to force it, but the more you do, the more you seem to push it away. But if you're patient, and you hold still, then maybe... Just maybe... It will come to you."

The Gyaos take this. Their Sonic Scalpels might do minimal damage certainly, and Godzilla's beam will be burning them down, but they have a lot more numbers on their side. Gamera needed multiple plasma blasts in the third film to destroy the Hyper Gyaos showcasing how far along they had evolved to survive his power. Godzilla's beam will be damaging, but if he doesn't kill the Gyaos with it, they'll still be crawling around with severely damaged and burning bodies. Not to mention if they all just dive at him at the same time and start picking him apart bite by bite.

The problem is the sheer numbers and that it is still possible to exhaust GvK Godzilla if he uses his beam too much, as seen when he went into the fight against Mechagodzilla with very little energy in the tank due to expending most of it just trying to fry Kong. The sheer horde of Hyper Gyaos means that sure, dozens and maybe even a few hundred may fall to GvK Godzilla spamming his beam left right and center, but eventually he's going to run out of juice to keep up that assault, and all those sonic cutters are going to take their toll. It'll take a long time, but eventually they can pull off a win here.

If it was, like, fifty Gyaos, then I MIGHT call it an even fight...

But seven-thousand, five-hundred Gyaos? Yeah, no. I'm pretty sure that could easily take on the entire Monsterverse.

With it being GvK Godzilla in which he's not only a meaner melee fighter than ever, but he also spams his beams Heisei-style, Godzilla might actually be able to win this. Still, though, 7,500 Gyaos is a lot, and he's gonna need to save up as much energy as possible if he's gonna see them all dead by the end of the night.

Numbers win, too many to even call this doable. 75... maybe. 7,500... no way in Hyper Gyaos Hell!
... Godzilla lives inside each one of us.
