The famed Showa A Team has once again assembled to defeat an enemy team. Emerging from the Milennium Era, these guys are looking to croak the old bastards. Can they defeat the prized Showa A Team?

Verdict: Showa Wins. Besides the AZC, they have no good counter for Hedorah, so that’ll be a huge problem. MG2 could probably clear out Orga and Kiryu from a distance at the start, but if not, they won’t be too difficult to deal with. Godzilla is a melee beast, and in that regard, has both Kiryu and MX beat. He probably won’t like a 2v1, but all of his teammates should be able to distract. KG, MG2 and Hedorah all have beams to shoot around, and MG’s missiles could probably insta kill Kiryu or Orga. KG is also quite a tank, so if he tries his DAM strategy by flying into the centre of them, he can soak up a lot of damage and allow his teammates to mount an offence.

Megaguirus is probably the most dangerous fighter, being so fast, but if he gets caught out, which is likely thanks to the beam spam coming from KG and MG2, she’ll probably die. Godzilla could also maybe catch her, as he’s been able to track Gigan mid air with the atomic breath flying at similar speeds.

Yeah, Team Showa’s gonna wreck the Team Millennium’s shit. Kiryu’s gonna drop no matter who he fights, Orga and Monster X won’t be able to keep up with the combined firepower of KG and MG, and the melee prowess of Showa Godzilla. Megaguirus will probably prove to be the biggest challenge here, but even her days are numbered before Showa Godzilla lands one solid blow that takes her out of the fight.

Megaguirus will render Mechagodzilla obsolete until her death, but Showa A Team does take this as nobody can really hurt Hedorah outside the AZC, which takes a while to charge and leaves Kiryu open for a beam to the face or a rock.
