Monster movies or tv shows you'd love to see happen?

Title explains it. Share ideas of monster movies you'd love to see happen as likely or as unlikely it maybe.

A movie adaptation to Fatalis by Jeff Rovin. I recalled rumors back in the 2000s that Universal was gonna make an adaption to the book starring Sylvester Stallone, unfortunately, turned out to be false. Totally bummed that wasn't the case as I'd kill for a creature flick on the saber-toothed cat. Yes there's those two SyFy originals but I'm talking about one with an actual budget.

Also like to see a remake to Carnosaur, one more faithful to the novel along with a movie adaptation to Dinosaurs Attack! which Tim Burton once considered before instead doing Martians Attack!.

Really down for the idea of zombie dinosaurs and would love to see a TV series on the Jurassic Dead trilogy by David Sakmyster. Also a TV or movie series on Kronos Rising by Max Hawthorne.

Being one of my favorite mythological creatures as well, I'd love to see a movie on the kushtaka, the "land otter man" of Alaskan folklore from the tales of the Tlingit people.

An adaption of Dinosaurs Attack! with the camp and over the top action of Mars Attacks would be wonderful, but I'm not sure if it would "work" in the current filmmaking climate. It's something I would have liked to have seen in like the 80s or something.

Probably won't happen but imagine an R-rated campy Dinosaurs Attack! with the Tim Burton animation-type style (Director doesn't have to be Tim Burton) to it or just R-rated animated of whatever style to begin with? Be something a little different and would be down for.

It's not likely to happen, but a remake/sequel of The Monolith Monsters would be interesting. I'd like to see the stone towers in a more urban setting where it's much harder to keep them away from water and people.

A remake of the early 90s Lovecraft inspired fantasy/horror/neo noir comedy Cast a Deadly Spell, preferably with someone like Guillermo Del Toro at the helm.

Given we've gotten a few killer bear movies.

I'd like to see one on the short-faced bear aka arctodus simus. The premise doesn't even have to be that complex. Could just be a group of hunters in Northern Canada or Alaska being hunted by said bear that was believed to have been long extinct.

Only question is? What would be a good title for such a creature feature?

One thing I'd like to see is a spy tv series about an organization that employs monsters for various missions. You could have a bounty hunter who's a werewolf, or a gillman for naval operations.

A Devil Dinosaur MCU film.
A modern day live-action Sinbad film modeled after the ones by Harryhausen.
An apocalyptic TV drama featuring similar to The Walking Dead, only with Dinosaurs.
A movie about the exploits of Bellerophon, featuring the Chimera, again taking influence from Harryhausen
A modern-day Yonggary remake from South Korea.
A Zombie TV series or movie set in the old west.

I actually imagine a modern day "double billing" with a remake of The Monolith Monsters leading into a modern remake of The Giant Gila Monster, where the leftover minerals from the Monoliths are responsible for the Gila Monster's growth.

And then I'd end it with a tease for a new THEM! remake. And just to cap the feather in the hat of the B Movie Monsters of the West Remake Universe, I'd have a prestige television event Black Scorpion remake miniseries.

A movie where it’s literally just some monster fighting the Red Army. A whole metric butt-ton of missiles, rockets, artillery, tanks and hordes of infantry screaming “URAH” while fighting some huge monster in Moscow.

Good way to tie The Giant Gila Monster to The Monolith Monsters.

Thanks. I got the idea from the sci-fi babble speculation on the Giant Gila Monster's origin, something about the right minerals in the right concentration maybe. Like whatever organisms it ate had eaten the right things. It was last year so I'm iffy on what was said. But it made me think of the ending of the Monolith Monsters and how they broke them up with salt water, and what might have happened to the space minerals that made them up. And I figured maybe the Gila Monster ate ants and that led to THEM!

I also tried to tie in The Giant Claw, but I didn't want to futz with the space alien vulture origin.

Actually, Burton thought of doing Dinosaurs Attack! soon after Mars Attacks!, but didn't do it because of Jurassic Park (the film, btw).

That could have gone one of two ways; either it would have been a hit capitalizing on the success of Jurassic Park, or a flop because it's very obviously NOT Jurassic Park. Either way, probably a smart move.

According to the film, the sheriff says that salts in the water get into the plants, which gets into the herbivores, and up the food chain, causing the animals to grow.

I'd love to see a post-apocalyptic giant monster movie where one or a number of giant monster movies basically succeeded in crumbling humanity and pushing mankind to the brink of extinction. A Terminator/Gears of Wars style "Resistance" fighting back against a giant monster/giant monsters. You could have a number of big boy and queens with egg sacks as well as some smaller more human-scale creatures for more of that up close and personal action.

Well, if Burton had done Dinosaurs Attack! in the same style that he used for Mars Attacks!, maybe it would've beaten Jurassic Park at its own game.

Believe me, if you'd seen the original 55-base cards and 11-sticker cards trading card set like I have, you'd know exactly what I'm talking about here. This story line was practically made for Burton's crazed filmmaking style. Who knows, maybe he could've put them in a shared universe, since the two are very similar to each other in tone and were both made by the same company. Well, I guess we'll never know.

Dinosaurs Attack! would have been great but I agree that it'd be hard to do in today's climate. Not just the kinds of films being made now but because of the way effects work now. I don't know that you could do something as charming with CG as Mars Attacks! nor am I sure modern Tim Burton could do it as well. And I'm not sure any established filmmaker could do it either.

This is why again if Dinosaurs Attack! were to get an adaption it should be an R-rated Tim Burton-like style of animation.

Which kind of animation, traditional drawing or CGI?
