Got my set a few days ago, a couple of days before street date...

... and it's a Christmas gift, so in the closet it went!

Just got done with 100 Monsters . It's a similar story to Daimajin , with scumbags abusing their authority and being punished for it by supernatural entities. I preferred Daimajin's more epic take on the idea, but the spookier, more sinister Yokai in this movie had a ton of their own appeal. You don't know what to expect from them, and they let fear and panic do most of the actual killing for them. The effects were predictably great, and the wacky parade of frolicking freaks was one of the most unique and impressive tokusatsu images I've ever seen.
