Spoiler:
“Don’t say such bullshit!” Daiki yelled out at his friend as they ran down the drenched streets.

“Why would I lie about something like this? The last time something like this happened our parents were kids!” the other hollered out excitedly, wanting his friend to witness what he had seen just minutes before, as he struggled to keep his glasses from falling.

“I hope you’re not wasting my time again,” sighed Giichi as he rubbed his messy hair, trying to keep it in place.

They bolted in the alleyway as the more eager of the two shouted while pointing out deeper into the channel, “Look. Over there!”

“What are you talking about, there’s nothing!” yelled Giichi as he looked up and saw nothing but drops of rain descending from the dark storm clouds above them.

“Use your eyes, man!” gleefully shouted out Daiki. The two glued then their eyes up at the sky, nearly straining them as they saw a giant body of water materialize above them. Small rays of light shined through, immediately entrancing them with its beauty. However, something unnatural was swimming in it, almost as if it was seemingly basking in it.

“What’s that?” stuttered Giichi, his whole body shaking at what just appeared before them.

The being paused as it shifted its whole body around, now glaring at the two witnesses below it. Its piercing red eyes angered and yet curious as to why they would show up and observe it. A part of it wanted to stay and enjoy this newfound body of water, but the other wanted to feed. However, the monster wasn’t given a choice in the matter as the body of water exploded.

The kids screamed as the pool-sized body of water splashed down upon them. Their bodies were completely absorbed by the water for a mere few seconds before immediately subsiding to the ground. The two took a moment to recompose of themselves, breathing rapidly, hoping this strange event would be over with.

A gurgle was then heard.

The two looked up to see sludge dripping to the ground, its black, slippery matter splashing upon their shoes. As their eyes ascended upwards at the culprit, they saw a being straight up from a horror movie, something that should, in no way, shape or form exist. The being stood nearly twice their height, as it hunched over, observing them. They stood in horror as the greyish black being moved its body unnaturally, with a swishing noise that could elicit chills from even the bravest of men.

Nothing could prepare them for what came next.

With a loud gurgle, the anomaly leapt forward at Daiki, completely knocking him to the ground. The teenager let out of a muffled scream as his whole felt like it was burning. His skin sizzling away as his very insides were being boiled. Giichi, feeling a modicum of resurgence of composure coming back to him, reached forward for his friend’s uncovered arm. He grabbed a hold of his arm and with every ounce of strength he had, he was able to feel himself pulling his dear friend out.

Giichi collapsed on his rear, taking a moment to collect himself. With a few deep breaths from the impressive feat of strength he had to pull, his mind drifted to his friend. To make sure everything was okay, he opened his eyes to check on his wounded friend.

He let out a bone chilling scream as he witnessed Daiki’s heavily mutilated body before him! The skin on his upper body was completely gone, as it poured onto the wet asphalt, giving it a peach and crimson red colored paint job. Muscle and bone were all that’s left, but even then, they began to melt away as steam flowed up from the body. Daiki’s unaffected arm soon broke away as the rest of the body separated itself due to his body being doused in acid. Lastly, Giichi wasn’t even successful in pulling out his friend’s whole body. His bottom half was completely gone!

Entrails hung out and in some cases, were even leaking out. Giichi quivered his lips, horrified that he unintentionally helped that monster rip his friend in two. He snapped his head over to his friend’s head as his joyful look was history. Now, it was just muscle with his glasses seared directly above his eyes.

A gurgle of laughter was heard once more as Giichi turned his head over to the beast standing above him. It took a step towards him, readying to absorb its prey, however his prey wasn’t entirely helpless, he got up on his feet and began to bolt. Giichi didn’t want to leave his friend behind, but it was of no use as his body was still in the process of decomposing. At the very least, he could find the authorities to put this abomination down.

He would make sure his friend would get avenged.(edited)

POP!

Giichi let out a banshee scream as he felt a sudden surge of pain in his feet, as if someone poured lava on them. He collapsed on his stomach, instantly turning over to see his shoes melting directly into his feet. Giichi unleashed a howl of pain as the small amount of acid was agonizing to his skin. His mind immediately drifted over to his friend’s fate and realized his feet would meet the same. Still, he had to escape, no matter the cost. Giichi flopped over on his stomach, pushing himself to try to crawl away, noticing he was nearly out of the cursed alleyway.

A sigh of relief overtook him, as he could get the help he desperately needed, but it was not meant to be. The anomaly hopped in front of him, part of its body splashing its contents all around the area.

Giichi’s fear overtook him once more with tears pouring out of his eyes. All he could do now was plead. “Please… please.. Don’t do this. Please….”

The being tilted its head slightly, seemingly taking its prey’s words into consideration. Its hands lowered down as the anomaly kept itself stationary. Giichi breathed a sigh of relief as if he mentally congratulated himself on talking his hunter down. He immediately began to veer off from the slimy being, crawling away towards his destination.

STOMP!

Giichi cried out once more as he felt the anomaly’s foot planting itself on his back. Immediately the back of his shirt melted away as the acidic sludge coated itself all over his back. A blood curled cry zoomed out of his mouth while the anomaly cackled in his suffering.

Even though the skrieks of agony were music to its ears, it couldn’t afford the chance of alerting others to its position. It had nearly been compromised several times and would not be in shape to fight off a whole army. It still had plenty of delicious food to devour.(edited)

With its arm extending out, it grabbed Giichi’s jaw, holding it in place as the sludge did all the work, melting the joints off. The beautiful screaming ceased immediately as it was replaced by gurgles while blood flooded out of his mouth.

Giichi’s only silver lining in this whole traumatic event was that he didn’t have to suffer for long. His consciousness fading while his eyes melted, their liquid remains dripping onto the wet ground.

The last thing he heard, however, was the gurgling laughter of his killer.

Yet another trailer for the upcoming Gamera vs. Hedorah: Round 2, because why not?
Spoiler:
Fireworks continued coating the sky for the past few hours as the clock nearly struck midnight. Tokyo was more alive than ever along with its citizens ostensibly having no cares in the world, only to celebrate. Unknownst to them, the water swirled rapidly while thousands upon thousands of bubbles made their way up to the surface. A dark, greyish being rose above the sea, as the water poured down from its slimy body. Its huge, menacing red eyes looked at the lively city. So colorful, so lively, so many possibilities.

It gurgled with glee. The anomaly raced through the bay and leapt onto the dock. It had spent the last few weeks growing exponentially to the point of no longer being able to conceal itself in the shadows. Instead, it was strong enough to face whatever was thrown at it and it welcomed them, especially the pollution and the screams. The beautiful screams.

The anomaly fired acidic sludge from its body, blanketing an entire block in a greyish mud. Within seconds, steam rose above it as everything hit with the substance began to melt away. The mutated tadpole murmured in delight, watching its work unfold.

Nearby, occupants of a hotel were previously enjoying the festivities when they noticed the very peculiar being making itself known. They couldn’t believe their eyes. Joy faded from their bodies as confusion and fear took over. Everyone bickered amongst themselves, trying to make sense of the situation unfolding in front of them.

Hearing their panicked voices, it turned to the source and saw them standing in different areas. If it had lips, the being would be smiling right now. The music was about to return and it would not let this opportunity go to waste. Three bursts of acidic sludge launched themselves out of its body and onto the hotel. The substances melted through every fiber they could touch as chunks of it splashed down on its occupants. Bloody, pained screams erupted from the maws of its victims as the flesh melted from their bodies, leaving only bones behind. Others suffocated, with steam rising from the sludge and into their orifices, forcing their insides to shut down. Then, as a grand finale to the show it created for itself, the entire building collapsed on itself, reducing it to a pile of acidic sludge with remnants of metals sticking out.

All around it lights turned on, the chattering picked up and the fireworks above it slowed down. Everyone and everything now saw the grotesque monstrosity standing before them in their city. It looked straight ahead and all everyone could do was panic as sirens went off to alert the JSDF of the threat before them.

The last of the fireworks soon ceased and with it, dark grey clouds covered the night sky. An instant downpour arrived, drenching the acidic monster’s body. It felt an overwhelming sense of pride, as it was being rewarded for its horrendous deeds. It not only got to feed and hear the music, but to be rejuvenated as well.

If it wanted more to happen to it, then it certainly wouldn’t disappoint. The anomaly reared its head back, letting out a gurgle full of delight as it went deeper into the city, to continue its massacre.

***

Down in the dark, isolated abyss, Gamera laid motionless on his stomach. In the past, the former guardian would have drifted off into a long sleep when he wasn’t needed, and yet, his only eyes closed for mere hours at a time.

It was as he previously feared.

He was no longer needed.

Gamera let out a small murmur, lifting up his still mangled right arm. Despite only getting meager doses of mana at a time, time was his ally. The egregious wound he once received on the final night of his duty was nearly a relic of the past. Only a few fingers were missing while scars were painted all over his hand as a grim reminder of what he nearly lost forever.

Before he knew it, pain rushed to his hand, eliciting a scream from the old sentinel. Gamera set his hand down slowly back to the ocean floor. The pain was agonizing, and no matter how many times he tried to teach himself, the former guardian could never seem to be able to tolerate it. Even the slightest motion caused a sharp, stabbing pain to it. One far worse than anything he felt before. At best, he was able to move it just enough to where he can function at the bare minimum.

Healing his body slowly wasn’t the only service mana was doing for him. Gamera felt his body shifting, however, it wasn’t evolving, but the exact opposite. His skin felt smoother, his shell more rounded, losing that powerful edge it once had, and his head losing several of its formal features. Now, nothing more than a flat surface.

The guardian shook his head and growled in frustration. Gamera felt disgusted with himself. As a former protector, he should have learned how to master pain, but it wasn’t meant to be. With each passing battle, he held out hope he would have overcome his weaknesses, and yet, nothing. The only lesson he learned was that he couldn’t even achieve it nor be the guardian everyone needed him to be. Why of all times was he now able to comprehend it?

He simply huffed, as he couldn’t help but think if this was his reward for protecting the Earth. No everlasting peace, no honorable death, not even a new objective.

Lying at the ocean floor, bruised and battered, only to be forgotten. That would be how his story ends.

Gamera felt his eyes shuttering, feeling some relief that he will not have to be alone with his thoughts for much longer. However, one last thought dawned on him.

Asagi.

He was happy she was able to break free from her commitments with him. She was able to live a life of her own and find a purpose. The thought of it brought him some comfort as she would not be jailed like him for the rest of her life. It was the very least he could hope for.

Gamera’s eyes closed, taking him away from his own poisonous influence, if that’s what it even is. He didn’t know for sure, but regardless, he looked forward to drifting off to sleep.

For a moment, it was working. The thoughts of despair were gone.

Instead, something else rushed in!

Screams filled his ears, instantly snapping his eyes open. His eyes darted across the area, but nothing was found. The screams did not cease as they were getting louder and louder for the conservator.

Gamera’s heart raced, as these screams were something he would normally not hear. Whenever trouble arrived, it was always the Earth itself calling upon his aid, but it was humanity itself?

Why would their pleas be the ones he would hear?

His connection with them was shattered!

There was no reasonable conclusion for why they would be the culprits.

Nonetheless, Gamera had to investigate. Not only for the good of the Earth or for humanity, but it may give the old sentinel a purpose once more.

Gamera slowly lifted himself, pain crackling throughout his whole body while his bones popped from being stationary for so long. He planted his feet onto the ground and looked above, letting out a gurgled cry as the pain rushed throughout his whole body. His knees nearly collapsed, but he quickly commanded himself to not falter, slowly finding the strength to stand up once more.

His limbs retracted into his shell as he jetted off, ascending through the depths of the ocean. Gamera looked forward to seeing the sky again, but let out a small roar of disappointment, realizing he could only gain a small amount of enjoyment when he was fulfilling an order. Regardless, he had to figure out what was causing the disturbance and how to stop it.

Gamera just hoped he had purpose for being there and not from the sense of false hope.

A trailer for Godzilla (Showa) vs. Kong (Legendary) because.. it's been ages since i've posted on this thread and i need feedback.
Spoiler:
Hollow Earth. 2:20 PM.

Two Warbats now layed dead at the mighty apes feet, throats hacked into and wings mangled. Their eyes lost whatever light they had, and they eventually stopped twitching, laying still. With a mighty axe that glowed blue in one hand, he roared out to the heavens and beat his chest with the one that was free. Finally, the Guardian God of the Hollow Earth relaxed, and sighed with a smirk on his face.

It was good to be king.

It had been two months since his fateful fight with Godzilla and his mechanical counterpart in Hong Kong, and after years of despair when Skull Island slowly yet surely sunk into the Earth, and had lost all but one of the Iwi tribe, things finally seemed to be looking up for him. He had the entirety of the underground world to explore. Anyone who dared to challenge him eventually learned their place, and he had friends that he could always count on.

Putting his brief scuffle behind him, he picked up the Warbats by his hand and planned to take them back to his main tower for his feast this afternoon, just sit down next to Jia, Illene and Nathan and just relax all his troubles away...

He had gotten halfway there to his mountain lair before he had noticed something rather odd happening however. Hellhawks, hundreds in numbers, had flown directly over his head and directly to the northern area of the island. Odd, considering most of the time they made home west. Looking closer in that direction though, he saw monsters of many differing species heading towards the area. What’s more, there appeared to be a glowing blue light far off in the distance, growing in size to the point it almost overtook the Hollow Earth’s miniature sun.

Was it.. Godzilla?

No it couldn’t have been. Godzilla was still on the surface world recovering from the battle with Mechagodzilla! But yet, it reminded Kong of him. It felt similar to him, yet strangely different, and not in the robotic way Mechagodzilla had given off. This was definitely an organic being. And it seemed to have also bought a few other monsters with it, whatever it was.

He growled before dropping the Warbats to the ground. Lunch could wait for the moment. Grabbing the Fin Breaker axe with haste, he too raced over to the mysterious light, using the inner Earth’s bizarre gravity to his advantage.

********

The Foetodon looked around, nervously.

Something was stalking him. He didn’t know what it was exactly, but he sensed it’s presence in the air, and heard the chitter that came from it’s voice. It seemed to be able to camouflage, and had blended in with the brown rocks perfectly. The only hint it was there at all was the slight movement of the boulders, and what appeared to be a bulbous, yellow eye. He couldn’t tell how many there were. Just one? Two? Possibly three? The noises continued to get louder, and they seemed to be coming from every which way..

And then finally, one of the beasts leapt.

A loud, painful shriek echoed across the land as the green mantis finally shedded the camouflage skin it had been wearing and leapt straight at the Foetodon’s jugular, tackling it to the ground as two more began to surround it. All three Kamacuras’ continued to continuously bash into the poor reptile in what was less of a hunt and more of a straight up slaughter.. That was, until the footsteps and roar of their own predators came into the hearing vicinity. A massive blue leg had kicked one of the mantis’ straight into a rock and caused the other two to quickly scamper away.

Covered in cuts, the Foetodon looked up at its accidental savior: the mighty allosaur, Gorosaurus.

The blue beast barely gave the smaller reptile a glance before walking off to get rid of the other Kamacuras’, while the Foetodon scurried away. But Gorosaurus was far from the only newcomer to the underground land..

Two Warbats were blown away by a massive stream of pure concentrated fire, the shooter’s horn glowing as he bellowed, inching toward them. Baragon suddenly leapt up, jumping on and biting down on one of the flying snake’s tails before it had a chance to flee. And while the other one tried it’s best to make it’s escape, it was suddenly intercepted by a rolling ball of spikes, having massive holes being carved into its side, blood spilling onto the rocks and grass. The monster revealed himself, howling at the green being in front of him. Anguirus had joined the fight.

Across the field that had now turned into a battlefield was Hellhawks being caught in silk by the arachnoid Kumonga, mire squid being hunted down and ripped apart by Rodan, and tons of Hollow Earth fauna trying to take down the toughest one of them all. What appeared to be Earth’s Alpha Predator in a strangely different form..

Godzilla.

In truth, this really was the King of the Monsters, but not the one this Earth knew. This Godzilla, along with the rest of his followers, came from another dimension entirely. What exactly got them here was unknown to them. Perhaps one of the human experiments on Monster Island went wrong, or perhaps it was a sneak attack by one of the aliens that constantly invaded, like the Xiliens or the Kilaak. Whatever the case, a massive blue light had enveloped almost the entire island, and suddenly, they had ended up in a place unknown to them all.

The Hollow Earth’s inhabitants were swarming him and his allies, unwilling to let their land be overtaken by these intra-dimensional strangers. But what they had in numbers, completely paled in comparison to their enemies much greater size and strength. And Godzilla was most certainly no exception. At least a good hundred beasts of all different kinds must’ve laid dead at his feet at the moment, and that was almost certainly a lower estimate. His bone-white dorsal plates suddenly began to flash blue. Any monster that tried to take on Godzilla either fled knowing what was coming by knowledge of their own Godzilla, or continued to fight out of sheer stubbornness or foolishness. Blue flames licked at the Monster King’s lips, and he reared his head back, preparing to fire!

Suddenly, a massive roar made its presence known, instantly stopping the carnage.

Godzilla, his allies, and the Hollow Earth inhabitants looked up to the top of the cliff, instantly seeing the roars owner, who growled at the newcomers. All the native monsters instantly backed off, scared of who they were looking at. At last, Kong had arrived. And Kong looked at Godzilla, almost the exact same Godzilla looked at him, with the same amount of confusion and wariness.

They both looked different, yet familiar, to one another.

That looks good to me.

Noticed a surge in trailers, so I figured 'Hey! Why the skreeonk not?'
Spoiler:
Mount Fuji, Japan.
7:00 A.M.

The Guardian Monsters, protectors of an ancient age, stood side by side close together as they eyed the opposition before them. Their very purpose in this land was to guard it and all of its inhabitants from all destructive threats, great or small, no matter the size or power. They would confront it head on without hesitation, side by side as comrades in arms to face the horrors of battle together. Today was one such situation, like many before in the past; the great guardian beasts had all re-awoken one after the other and congregated here, at the base of Japan’s greatest geological monument, under the thick foggy clouds of the overcast morning sky to confront yet another adversary that threatened the entirety of not just Japan, but the world itself. That was what they were up against, a hazard to the planet’s very well-being, but still they arrived to confront it together without the slightest hint of reluctance.

Mothra, the Goddess of Infant Island, chirped to her allies as she hovered above them, flapping the gorgeously colorful tapestries of orange and black that were her wings to blow soft, yet powerful winds to demonstrate her strength to the opposition that stood before her and her allies. Below her, the Red-Hot Monster Baragon pawed the ground beneath him and spread his ears wide, bellowing forth a trilling challenge to the invaders. Beside the subterranean dinosaur, another guardian saurian much like him in some ways growled like a dog at their opposition. Fierce red eyes glowed with righteous wrath at the invaders, a carapace topped with spikes of pure ice wisped with frosty vapor, a quadrupedal body held stiff like a dog or horse. A crown of horns topped its saurian skull, fanged tusks bared in fearless fury to utter yet another low growl. A long tail ending in a mace covered in thorns of ice swung behind the Golden Freezing Monster, Anguirus, who screamed an elk-like howl of defiance at his revolting opponents. Next to the lemon-colored ankylosaur, another guardian fixed their opponents with a fearsome gaze; a gigantic eastern dragon, scales green as a jade statue composing all 300 meters of his serpentine length. Pointed horns topped his reptilian head, small paws tipped with curved claws scraped the soil beneath him as he anticipated making the invaders pay for trespassing here. Manda, the Guardian Dragon of Mu, reared his upper body off the ground and roared a lion-like war cry to the oncoming conflict before crashing back down in a display of power.

Before the great guardians, the two loathsome beasts glared upon them with bulging red eyes, twitching their drooling, spider-like chelicerae in hungry anticipation. Both alien beasts shared similar characteristics to one another; scythed arms, chitinous exoskeletal exteriors, crimson gem-like objects in the center of their chests and long tails tipped with deadly pincers. But each one possessed unique traits of its own that differentiated them from one another. One possessed patches of reptilian blue skin and a horn sizzling with electricity atop its head, revealing its resemblance to the space monster Goliath. The other was a hulking, bat-winged abomination of amber exoskeleton intermingled with golden scales, three draconic heads sitting upon three serpentine necks; a trait which betrayed its obvious genetic donor all to well. The Trilopods raised their scythed limbs to the air and howled their horrible cries to the monstrous resistance, eager to add more genetic templates to the Hive for further use in their conquest.

But there was one more combatant who stood amidst the foggy forest field, a most unexpected ally for the side of good.

Beside the great Guardian Monsters stood a fifth Kaiju, a towering dinosaurian reptile that had once been mistaken for the most powerful creature on the planet. At 90 meters tall, he was a truly noble and mighty sight to behold, with two rows of forward-curving, razor-sharp spines running down his back. Long arms ending in clawed hands grasped the air as the irradiated iguana stared down the Trilopods with fiery orange eyes, his theropod-like toes digging into the ground to drag three trenches of dirt. A long tail held out stiff for balance, the atomic reptile known as Zilla narrowed his eyes, raised his boxy skull and gaped his conical-toothed jaws, letting loose a powerful roar near identical to that of Godzilla himself! At this, the other Guardians gazed upon him with fond looks of admiration, grateful that he was here with them in an hour of need. It was always good to have more allies at their side in grim circumstances, and every addition helped.

For a moment, the two sides did nothing but stare one another down, growling and snarling as they waited for one or the other to make the inevitable first move… … …

The Goliath-Trilopod cackled and let loose a blast of lightning from its horn, striking Anguirus in the face and eliciting a howl of anger from the saurian.

Thus, all was battle.

Well uh.. ignoring the weirdness going on the roster statistics right now, here's Godzilla (Showa) vs. Kong (Legendary): Trailer 2!
Spoiler:
With a massive crash, both kings finished their fall into the chasm below them.

Kong didn’t know how deep they were into the Earth now. Thousands more past the Hollow Earth? Maybe even millions? It barely mattered to them anyway, nor did the pain that shot through their body. What mattered at the end of all this was just finishing what they started at this point, but neither had much more was finishing what he started with Godzilla, and finding his way back up. After that, deal with everyone else up there.

But then he realized he didn’t even know where Godzilla was. Far as he was concerned, the dinosaur had fallen somewhere completely unrelated to where he was. It was at the moment where he was looking at his surroundings that he realized this place seemed rather small. The only way out was seemingly using the axe to hack at the stone and get out himself. With that in mind, he drew out his trusty weapon and hacked at the rocks for a while, before finally, an entire side of the hole he was in came down.

And as the dust cleared, Kong looked at the next room he was in.. and was awestruck.

Laying before him was a skeleton of what appeared to be a massive titan. This wasn’t anything like the Godzilla skeleton he had stumbled across though. This one appeared to be a gigantic snake. It’s head was around the same size as his own, but it’s length had eclipsed even the biggest of Skullcrawlers he encountered, hundreds, maybe even thousands of feet long. The rest of its body had fled into the darkness where he couldn’t see.

And then, he heard a familiar noise.

Speak of the devil.. Skullcrawlers.

Admittedly, they were tiny, about the size of most humans which didn’t pose a threat to him in the slightest. But their one track mind still craved for his flesh anyway. Tons of them climbed upon the skeleton of the titanic snake, and then prepared to leap towards him-

SKREEOOOONK

And then came the other roar Kong just couldn’t mistake. And almost right on cue, a shot of an atomic breath burst through the walls, killing most of the skull devils on impact. Through the other side, came out Godzilla.. And he wasn’t happy.

He and Kong shared glares, the Skullcrawlers around them not too sure what to do at this point. Suddenly, Kong leapt upon the snake's skeleton, and used it as leverage. Raising the Royal Axe, he roared as he jumped into the air, planning to come down with a mighty blow. At at the same time, Godzilla roared back as his dorsal plates once again lit up a blinding blue color.

It was time for Round 2 to begin!

While this isn't the first match I have written, I decided that this will be my first trailer. Keep in mind I'll probably polish up the writing.
Spoiler:
The sun shone down on one of the many islands of Bermuda as the breeze blew gently. Birds flew by the island, calling out to each other as they traversed the skies. It was a peaceful day for the tropical area, and for one particular kaiju, a day of rest that was very needed. Mothra allowed herself to bask under the sun’s rays as she lay on a rock overlooking the nearby beaches. Her massive wings were spread wide on display, their patterned design a reminder to anyone nearby of her status as Queen of the Monsters.

The divine monster felt relaxed as she continued to lay down. It had been a while since any threat to the Titans or the world at large had emerged, and that provided an opportunity for her to rest. While she did very much enjoy her time resting in warm and calm places such as these, she knew that eventually, she would have to leave in order to check and make sure that none of the others were quarrelling or causing chaos. Even with Godzilla as the undisputed king, Mothra knew that some Titans still tried to attack humans or fight each other over territory from time to time, such as Amhuluk and Tiamat. Right now, she could only hope that they were at peace and had accepted their king’s orders.

As Mothra continued to look around, something descending from the skies caught her attention. She looked up and observed the strange object as it began to reveal itself. It was some sort of gigantic metallic sphere that gave off a bright shine in the sunlight. Three protrusions resembling spikes were attached to its lower half, and as the moth continued to look at it, she could see that the levitating object was marked with strange patterns even she didn’t recognize. The moth tilted her head in confusion. Just what exactly was this thing?

**********

Unbeknownst to Mothra, the massive construct served as a mothership for a species not of this Earth. Within one of the rooms, several of the aliens stood, watching a screen. They bore appearances that were near-identical to the humans of Earth, and wore black coats that reached down to their legs. The one in front, the young controller known as X, walked to the screen as it showed Mothra resting on the island.

“It seems we were correct, this planet really does have more monsters of its own than we previously thought.” X said as he continued to stare at the image of the divine moth. The last time the Xiliens arrived on Earth, they managed to capture most of the native monsters and add them to their massive army, using them as pawns for their nefarious goals. The controller looked at the Titan, a smirk forming on his face.

“Sir, what should we do with this one?” one of the other Xilliens asked. X turned around, thinking for a few seconds before giving his verdict. “This one doesn’t look too powerful, and we already have enough monsters in our arsenal to easily take over this entire planet. I say we kill off this one so that it can’t bother us, then once that is done we shall negotiate with the cattle and look for the rest.”

“Which monster will we use, sir?” another subordinate asked.

X smirked. He already knew from the second he thought of this plan which monster he would use.

**********

Mothra continued to watch the object as it just stayed in its spot in the sky. She still didn’t know whether it was dangerous, but at this point she wasn’t going to take any chances. She flapped her wings and prepared to fly before a small port in the sphere suddenly opened up, allowing something else to fly out. The divine moth was perplexed as she saw the new object stop and hover in place, allowing her to get a clear view of it.

The “object” was a creature that even she, in all her years of experience with other kaiju, found bizarre. He had dark blue armor all over his body, several metallic parts attached to him, three massive fins on his back, and a head which possessed mechanical mandibles, a red visor, and a spike on top. His most defining features, however, were the buzzsaw on his chest and his arms that were massive scythes below the elbow. The alien cyborg known as Gigan roared loudly at Mothra. He was ready to fight.

Mothra flapped her wings and rose up to the invader's level as she screeched back, ordering him to leave. She didn’t want to fight right now, but if this new monster chose to be defiant, she would have no choice but to engage in battle until he gave up or died. Gigan screeched again in response. He had no intention of leaving this place. His master’s order was clear: he had to kill the moth, and Gigan was going to fulfill that order no matter what. He clashed his scythes together and struck a pose, moving his mandibles in a sort of grin.

The Queen of the Monsters watched Gigan as he taunted her. It was clear to her now that he wasn’t backing down. Very well; if he’s so eager to fight, she’ll give him a fight. Mothra prepared her scythe-like claws, her luminous blue wings changing to a more orange glow as she let out her battle cry. Gigan responded in kind, flying towards the divine moth, his scythes ready to slice her apart. In only a few seconds, the cyborg reached her, raising his arms to attack.

Mothra quickly struck out with her own arms as Gigan swung, successfully blocking the alien’s attack. As she flew back to dodge another attempted swipe from her foe, Gigan grinned once again. Already, he knew that this was going to be a fun fight.

Spoiler:
Bengaluru, India

All that one could see for miles and miles was red.

A massive cloud covered the ground, took over the skies, and tainted the sea. It’s name was the Archetype, a mysterious form of power that could take all different forms, shapes and sizes. As of this moment, there were only two kaiju that were able to spread it around, both on other sides of the globe. One was a mosasaurus that heavily resembled Titanosaurus, fighting other monsters near the bay of New York. The other was what had turned Bengaluru into a wasteland.

Mysterious plant life began to crawl up the buildings as he walked across the land, his massive frame of green, warty skin being the only thing not covered in the Archetype that plague the town. His clouded, grey eyes looked to the horizon, where the skies were still blue. Anyplace where the sky was blue, he would go. The blue reminded him of when he first managed to get out of his prison not long ago, and reminded him that there was still a world he could explore… it also reminded him that more of humanity would try to stop him in the process.

Case and point, an entire hoard of helicopters that came into his view, firing down missiles and machine guns at his eyes. Revealing his gums to them all as he breathed heavily, he suddenly slammed his left palm right into ten of them. The other ninety still continued to fire with everything they had, but it barely phased the massive green beast at all. His mouth suddenly opened, and two more were swallowed. Swatting at the team of machines like they were flies, they slowly began to back off, but not far enough. He still felt their weapons trying to burrow themselves into his skin. The most infuriating bunch of things he ever had the displeasure of meeting..

Why couldn’t they all just go away?!

Suddenly, he raced right into their direction, jumping up and slamming most of them down to the ground below them. Some soldiers survived, others met their fate that day. Touching back down on his hands and feet, planes came from behind him in some attempt at a surprise attack. Reaching behind him, three planes were caught in his grasp. With a snarl, an explosion went off in his hand, the remaining rubble being thrown into a towering building miles away, a ball of fire being set ablaze.

Tiny, ugly, stupid ants. That was what the primate thought of humanity as a whole. They thought they were so high and mighty, thought that somehow they could keep him trapped in a massive crate for the rest of his life, thought they could continue experimenting on him. They were wrong. All of them were wrong. Once he had gathered enough Archetype energy, he used it to escape from his prison. New Delhi was entirely destroyed in a single night, Bengaluru was next, and he planned to have the rest of the world follow. Nobody needed some small insects to rule the world, they couldn’t even defend themselves when they were up against a larger threat. In his eyes, the Earth was a giant game of survival of the fittest. It was to see if you could live in a world where everything and anything, even some from beyond the stars, could eventually come and get you. He had lived with that mentality for hundreds of years. Possibly thousands, but he never kept count. Time never mattered to him anyway. It was the fights that mattered. Any challenge he overcame in life, it was a sign that to him that he truly was the apex predator on this planet. It was a sign that he was truly the one fit the most to rule it with the iron fist, and his goal was to take that mentality to the max.

A deep, loud howl echoed across all of the Asian continent. Roaring to the sky, it was a sign of the apocalypse. A sign that no one on this Earth would last much longer. A sign that humanity’s time on Earth would soon be reaching its end!

And a sign that Salunga’s world could finally begin..

Looking forward to this one, glad to see we’re already getting a match with a SP rep.

Just a few miles outside of Tokyo and near the basin of Mount Fuji, the world watched on as a new weapon was fully unveiled. Designed to mirror the body of the titanic King of the Monsters himself, this machine was declared to be humanity’s trump card against any threat, natural or otherwise, to face humanity in the coming years. Armed to the literal teeth with the most high-tech weaponry and protected by an armor plating that would make any God of old blush, this machine was the pinnacle of human innovation. And all those that bore witness to it were stunned. At a colossal one-hundred and twenty meters tall and weighing in at well over one-hundred thousand tons, this weapon was a walking mountain of humanity’s design. Before it, various speakers described it. But there were no words needed. Just one glimpse of its silvery armor, yellow eyes and majestic Garuda warship attachment was enough.

Then the name christening…

“We here at the United Nations Godzilla Counter-Measure Center have simply dubbed this creation…”

Elsewhere in Hong Kong…

“God dammit!” The owner of APEX Industries shouted, tossing his mixed drink across the room. “They stole our idea. We are the ones who will bring humanity back and make it the Apex Titan.” Walter Simmons paced across the room, pointing out the window at the monolith his company had been working on for the past ten years.

“The power source from the Hollow Earth is compatible, but it requires much more testing.” One of the technicians spoke as the robot’s eyes flickered from blue to red.

Walter looked over his shoulder at the young man, “Do you really think I don’t know that?” His gaze turned back toward their own mechanical monster, also built on the likeness of the monster king. “Perhaps we should offer a challenge to G-Force to see who has the more capable machine?”

“Sir…” Another voice spoke up from across the room.

Walter sighed as he poured himself another drink. “What is it?”

“It looks as if the Japanese Anti-Megalosaur Forces are about to go live. I fear we may have fallen behind in this arms race…”

Simmons chugged his drink quickly and slammed the glass back down on the desk, “The rumored MFS-3?” The other man simply nodded…

Simmons sighed as he poured himself another. “I suppose they think they also own the name…”

Outside of Hokkaido, a similar scene was unfolding as the Japanese Self-Defense Force’s Anti-Megalosaurus task force unveiled the similarly constructed machine. Unlike the other, this one was thinner with less armor. It was several meters shorter, but had longer limbs and a much longer tail. Its frame was a lot more exposed with metal plating covering circuitry. Its eyes also burned a fiery yellow like its G-Force twin, but a red tear line ran down its cheeks. The spines of the machine were also larger, far more closer in shape and size to the source. And that’s because, as its unveiler proudly announced, it was built around the very bones of the very first Godzilla discovered in 1954.

“It may not have as many flashy weapons as the other so-called Mecha, but ours has more than a few tricks up its sleeve!” The man declared proudly as spectators looked on.

“Do you have a name for your machine to stand it out?” A reporter shouted his question from the large crowd.

“Well, unofficially the pilots and ground crew have been calling it “Kiryu”, but officially… We’ve been calling it…”

In the deepest reaches of space, a fleet of warships rapidly approached. Inside the command ship, the silver jumpsuit-clad alien chuckled as he looked at the images of both recently revealed weapons of Earth. “How ironic. They fight Godzilla. They make their own. And now they will both be destroyed by our own mecha.”

“The armada is ready for battle, where shall we target first?” A subordinate asked as he approached the deck. “All units are prepared for battle and awaiting activation.”

Mogul stood up from his throne-like seat and cracked his neck and arched his back. “Enter warp speed and bring us into Earth’s orbit. We’ll beat these humans to death.”

“As you wish, sire.”

Mogul sat down as the ship hummed and the stars themselves became nothing but white streaks as the warships began to travel at light speed. “These humans are in for a surprise if they think their creations stand any chance against…”

“MechaGodzilla.”

Spoiler:
Skull Island

A taloned hand dipped slowly into the water-ridden grass, placed against the wet foliage with utmost flawlessness in its care.

Lightly and quietly as possible, as if to remain completely and utterly undetected by any and all beings with auditory receptors in range. A bony, scaly arm stretched with muscle as its two-limbed owner stalked ever so quietly towards its intended target: a long-limbed cricket-like insect, moss adorning a body that looked as if it were made of a fallen tree. The Spore Mantis didn’t even notice the Skullcrawler stalking her, she was too busy traversing the edge of a forest scouring for whatever small edibles she could find. Toad-like eyes watched her every movement as the adult Skullcrawler timed his next step right and took it, making sure to tread the watery ground with just as much softness as before. His plan seemed to be working, the Spore Mantis didn’t seem to notice. A long, pinke tongue flicked quickly and noiselessly out of his bony jaws to taste the air with anticipation before slinking back in just as quickly as it had arrived. Tensing his 95-foot body, the Skull Devil laid his tail completely flat against the ground and lowered himself like a resting monitor lizard, moving his shoulders with the full intention to break into a spring… … …

The Spore Mantis suddenly chirped loudly and began to scuttle quickly into the reaches of the forest, her vocalization laced with fear. The Skullcrawler paused, unsure of what was happening. Unaware of why the floral insect had suddenly decided to flee. Had she noticed his presence--?

A sound suddenly reached his ears, causing his head to start ever so slowly turning around. It was a sound unfamiliar to the reptilian apex predator. A sharp chittering, like a cross between a bird and a monkey.

And it was emanating from right behind him.

The Skull Devil suddenly whirled his body a full 180 degrees--and in the blink of an eye, his stalker zoomed screeching at him from the top of the mountains, covering the distance to him in less than a second.

SHINK!

A rain of red spurted into the wetland water to paint it with the one color that marked the scene of a hunter’s kill, before the ground thudded with a quaking impact as a large body collapsed limp as a wet rag. Two spiny forelimbs picked up the corpse as their arthropodal owner carried it far away, leaving the severed skull of the once feared ravenous predator behind as a stark reminder of one of the most brutal teachings by Mother Nature.

There is always a bigger predator.

*****

Yellow, bulbous eyes scanned over the vast expanses of the tropical ecosystem of Skull Island, noting down every detail and every path as the emerald insect navigated his way back to where he desired. Blood dripping from the stump where his kill’s now-severed head once perched, the giant praying mantis left a raining trail of crimson as he flew across the forested mountains of the island, some even falling down into a human village he passed over. The mantis ignored them, he had no interest in humans. Just tiny gnats in comparison to his feet, not even worth predation by his like.

This island was full to the brim with bigger, tastier game.

His wings fluttering at speeds that made even a hummingbird’s wings look juvenile, Kamacuras zoomed through the skies as if he were a biological bullet on a rocket launcher; the air warping behind him from the sheer velocity. He didn’t have far to travel; up in the distance, at a series of rocky peaks that reared from a large expanse of water, he saw his objective. The archipelago, the islets. The edges of the island.

His territory.

Kamacuras chittered as the expanse grew in visual size and detail, his wings beginning to slow in pace. As he neared, his eyes caught sight of the other large forms that resided upon some of the limestone peaks, one even standing in the shallow water. The other Gimantis chattered and chirped to each other, waving and twitching their raptorial forearms while filling the morning air with their communicative vocalizations. Claws still clutching the beheaded Skullcrawler, the alpha Gimantis slowed his flight to the point where his wings could actually be seen, the other insects going quiet at his appearance; then, with a screech, Kamacuras landed upon the tallest peak to assert his dominance over the rest of the pack.

But as he placed the Skull Devil’s body on the rocky surface below his claws, his mind registered a sight that made his blood boil and his seasonal instincts flare to life.

Another male stood upon a peak that also happened to be inhabited by a brown-colored female, chirping softly to her as he steadily approached her; his left forelimb clutching the dead body of a Sker Buffalo. Fresh blood dripped from the lacerations on the mammal’s body, and even from his peak the scent of it was every bit as mouth-wateringly alluring as the dead Skullcrawler that lay beneath his feet. And even worse: the trick seemed to be working. Chittering in interest, the female was slowly advancing towards the ungulate corpse, mandibles twitching in hunger.

A sharp, shrieking bark left Kamacuras’ mandibles, stopping the other male dead in his tracks.

Both Gimantis jolted and whipped their heads around to look at him, and even without the necessities to provide for facial expression their shock and alarm was clear as day. The courting male quivered lightly as Kamacuras bent forward and reared his abdomen towards the sky, spreading his wings and raising his arms while he uttered two terrifying shrieks. The meaning was clear; Kamacuras was the alpha of the pack, and as the prime male he always held first dibs when it came to breeding. The dead Skullcrawler served the same purpose as the dead Sker Buffalo; it was not for himself, not to satisfy his own hunger. It was a gift.

It was mating season.

The female Gimantis stepped back while the younger male turned to face the alpha, his alarm replaced with animalistic anger. Rearing his own claws, he screeched a challenge at Kamacuras. The alpha male squalled back, threatening the youth to back right off. From their perches, the three females quickly backed away as they watched the two males posture and wave their clawed limbs to display their strength, screaming at one another like hormonal harpies with a volume loud enough to send any and every species on Skull Island fleeing in terror for miles around. All the while, the timber-colored females watched the spectacle but did not get anywhere close, for while it was often that the loudest and most intimidating display was all that was needed to settle disputes, it was never guaranteed that showing off will be enough. And it was at this point where the females needed to be very careful. From the looks of things, there was a mounting chance that push was about to go to shove, and when two males engaged in full-on combat and a female remained too close to the point she got caught in the crossfire, the males could easily kill her amidst the ferocity of their duel--to say nothing of the combatants themselves.

And this younger one may very well have just made a dangerous mistake.

Even by Gimantis standards, Kamacuras was a very large male; as such, risk of serious injury at the very least was frighteningly high. Kamacuras’ displays were beginning to grow more aggressive by the second, but amazingly the younger male was only emboldened to increase the ferocity of his displays as retaliation. That’s when Kamacuras pawed the rock beneath him and screeched his final warning, louder and more vicious than ever. This was it. This was the moment that the young male had to make a decision. He had to choose between intelligence and logic, or bravery and/or outright stupidity, to decide the outcome of whatever happened to him next. It was all riding on what choice he made here and now… … …

Forelimbs reared and head bent low, the younger male screeched and began to wave his abdomen back and forth, the message unmistakable: an intimidation dance.

The last straw snapped like a dead twig.

With an enraged squall, Kamacuras leaped right off his perch to shoot towards the young Gimantis with speed and fluidity that caught him off guard. The younger insect only managed to raise his arms halfway up before the alpha male collided with him, knocking him off his rock and tackling him into the shallow water below. The females watched poker-faced as the two males squared off, rearing up onto their hind legs and smashing their upper bodies against each other like giant bears, clawing and clanging against one another with their raptorial forelimbs as if they were in a swordfight. Echoing screeches filled the air as they dueled, the cracks of their colliding bodies being so powerful they trembled the rocky islets that composed of the archipelago and rattled the ground for a good three miles. Nothing but pure, primeval testosterone fueled their savagery as they threw down in the shallows, the water splashing about in repeated bursts amidst this clash of the titans.

But it was clear that one held a distinct and obvious advantage.

An arthropod’s armor was his best defense--unless it got split. And there, with one good stab of a clawed limb, Kamacuras buried it into a gap in the rival male’s exoskeleton. Yellow blood spurted, and the mantis let out an ear-piercing shriek of pain and immediately recoiled. As the razor-edged scythe of an arm withdrew from the injury, Kamacuras lunged forth and bit down upon the young male’s neck, chewing viciously into the chitin. Kicking and thrashing, the youthful Gimantis squealed like a giant capuchin as he finally called it quits; with one good hard yank he ripped himself bleeding and free from Kamacuras’ grasp and instantly reverted from fight to flight. Wings a-buzzing, the praying mantis flew into the air and soared far away, landing upon a different islet a few hundred meters away.

Leaping like a grasshopper, the alpha male landed upon the peak his defeated rival once stood upon, perching proudly as he made his position clear. The wounded youth watched fearfully from afar as Kamacuras reared his scythed limbs upwards and screeched in triumph to signify his superiority, the females beginning to re-enter the scene again upon knowing that the battle was over.

But then, in an unexpected display of extra salt to the festering wound, the victorious mantis did the worst possible thing he could ever do to his overpowered competition.

Grabbing the dead Sker Buffalo in his claws, Kamacuras quickly began to feast upon the deceased mammal, the very gift that the defeated male had tried using to court a mate. Mandibles slicing through meat and bone, the triumphant insect devoured the intended gift like the bite-sized snack it was while its original owner watched, the blood spilling down the rock and into the water below, a scent that would surely attract aquatic predators to the spot. It didn’t take long for Kamacuras to finish the meal, discarding the last scraps aside as he at last turned his attention away from the rival.

Another, lighter chirp rang in the air.

Jumping back to his original perch, Kamacuras grasped the dead Skullcrawler in his right ‘claw’, preparing the gift of his own. Sure enough, the female now began to tread towards his position, bulging amber eyes fixed on the decapitated lizard with interest. Soft, monkey-like chitters left Kamacuras’ mandibles as he scaled down the islet, slowly approaching the female and holding the corpse out in her direction, enticing her to take it. Chirping cautiously, the brown mantis reached forward and allowed her antennae to poke at the corpse, sensing it… … ...and then, with a hissing bark, she snatched the corpse out of the male’s claw and began to chew into it.

With the female feasting on his gift, Kamacuras chirped as he began to pace around her in very close physical proximity, sensing her with his antennae; all the while she continued to feast on her prize, unbothered whatsoever by his presence.

She was now receptive.

As Kamacuras lumbered around, he caught yet another glimpse of the defeated male in the distance, still watching them with his expressionless gaze. The alpha male thought nothing of it; he was stronger, simple as that. As with every competition, there were losers, and the young male was the most recent in line. Standing on the outskirts of Kamacuras’ territory, still bleeding from his recent wounds, out here he had little chance of attracting a mate.

All but ignoring his presence, Kamacuras continued his courtship. The strong passed on their genetic lineage, the weak lost out until they either became strong in time, or died trying.

It was just the way things were.

… … ...a booming vocalization abruptly roared into the wind.

Kamacuras suddenly froze, the other Gimantis following suit. They all heard that loud and clear; whatever made it sounded big. As if that weren’t a telltale sign enough, the ground was beginning to quake with single, repeated tremors in a three-second-apart pattern. Almost as if they were powerful footfalls of a very large animal… … …

A loud screech suddenly echoed from the mandibles of the outsider male, the youth waving his claws as he held his back turned on the rest of the pack. The other Gimantis looked in his direction, following his line of sight--and that’s when they saw it. Their excellent vision caught sight of the perpetrator long before any other animals in the vicinity saw it, and Kamacuras twitched his forelimbs and chittered a warning at the oncoming intruder. The hulking behemoth thundered a deep croak as it slowly closed the great distance between it and the huge mantises that watched its every movement. Golden-scaled arms ripe with impressive muscle stomped the shallow water to quake the Earth’s crust with miniature earthquakes, a black armored body rising large spires upon its back to give the creature a regal appearance. A series of bioluminescent crimson bulbs acted as a single visor-like eye that glared at the distant insects, the islets trembling with every footfall as it lumbered into Kamacuras’ territory without a care in the world.

Rearing her right hand up, MUTO Prime slammed her claw down upon the shallow water with enough force to trigger a Magnitude-5 earthquake, booming a bellowing roar at her insectoid opposition. This was her territory now; these pests better either get with that fact and leave, or face her wrath and end up squashed under her heel like the bugs they were.

Eyes seeming to bulge with rage, Kamacuras reared his mandibles and screeched a fearless battle cry that actually made the giant amphibian stop in her tracks, his fellow Gimantis following his lead. The insects had just sent a message of their own:

We’re not going ANYWHERE.

Very intriguing, I am quite curious to see how this goes.

I like the documentary style of the series and the buildup to MUTO Prime.
I'm looking forward to it.

It's nice to see more team vs. team fights in the K.W.C. Looking forward to see where it goes!

Well while i'm hear, might as well upload another trailer for my match. Still working hard on Salunga vs. Godzilla (Legendary) and Colossal Titan, but in the meantime, here's a trailer for my other big project at the moment: Goliath vs. Red King: Round 2!
Spoiler:
“Geeze, I know there was gonna be a bad snowstorm because of the meteor impact, but I didn’t think it’d be this cold.”

Mei Kamino was wearing the thickest purple coat she could afford, but even that wasn’t enough to protect her from the blizzard that had completely coated the Lawless Monster Zone. Yun and Asagi, her partners in searching for the mysterious extraterrestrial monster who made this happen to begin with, weren’t doing much better, but also like Mei, they managed.

“So…” Yun awkwardly started the conversation. “You mean to tell me that apparently the Lawless Zone might be an abandoned Gamera and Gyaos hideout?”

“Sure seems like it might be! Gamera himself might’ve actually been around here thousands of years ago, a good couple of Atlantean DNA finds match him perfectly.” Asagi explained. “Apparently after all sorts of different monsters started to show up though, they all decided constantly fighting all the newcomers in addition to the whole “Gamera-Gyaos” war wasn’t worth it, and they left. I’m guessing the whole snow meteor thing also had something to do with it.”

While Mei’s eyes were pretty focused directly on her laptop, she had heard the entire conversation. “The snow hypothesis for why the Gamera and Gyaos left is actually pretty likely. The meteor that’s causing the snowstorm is actually a spaceship for a monster! They called him “Goliath” after the mythological giant. They said he was blue, had a massive brown shell on his back, and his horn had the power to control electricity. Last time he appeared was 278 years ago, when he went into Japan and…. Wow, he lost a fight to a baby hippopotamus monster named Daigoro? Heh, no wonder it says he went back to space out of shame.”

Almost on cue though, the snowy wind suddenly picked up speed, and it seemed like the other monsters were also reacting to it. The three humans watched near the coast as C-Rex briefly emerged from the sea, shivering and starving. The Monster Zone had been his home for a while, but it was obvious he felt like migrating out of it in order to survive. A massive blizzard was no home for a cephalopod who had adapted to warmer, tropical climates.

Asagi trudged her way closer to Mei in order to actually hear what she was saying over the freak weather. “If Goliath left the Earth so long ago, why did he come back?!”

“I’m not too sure! But from what I’ve gathered, it sounds like his meteor has been going from planet to planet for a while. Think he might’ve just come here by coincidence, or just ran out of other planets to go to!”

Suddenly, a lion-esc roar howled beyond the white fog, and a massive blue shape began to reveal itself, slowly, but surely.

His horn lit up the grey darkness, and his glowing yellow eyes was a sure signal to his presence. Another warcry had filled the air; for Goliath had made his return!

All three humans stared at the rather bizarre looking beast in awe. It seemed calm at the moment, unaware of his surroundings, nor did he really care. What he did care about though, is finally getting his revenge on that stupid, pgymy face brat that drove him off this planet years ago. All these years of training would finally pay off the moment he saw Daigoro beaten to a pulp in front of his very eyes. And after that, he would make sure every other monster foolish enough to challenge him would follow-!

Grrrrrr..

But then again, probably best he ate something first.

Suddenly, the whimpering of a monster came to his ears. In the corner of his eyes, he spotted a small, red shape: a Ganimes. Bleeding from the side, it seemed like some other monster had pierced it’s skin not long ago, and it was about to bleed out. Thankfully, this was just what Goliath wanted; an easy meal.

He stepped forward to the crab monster, who was too weak to fight back, but it still growled in some failed attempt at intimidation regardless. With a small chuckle, Goliath reared his foot off the ground, and then suddenly slammed it right into Ganimes’ face. Blood splattered against the snow almost immediately, and his prey had died just as fast.

Satisfied with the outcome, Goliath flipped his meal over on his shell, and used his claws to dig into it’s soft underbelly. As he dug into Ganimes’ muscles,it seemed like the snowstorm was beginning to die down into a soft flurry. And that was the cue for the three humans watching to move.

“C’mon,” Yu said. “He’s distracted. If we move quietly enough nobody will notice we were even here to begin with-”

Unfortunately for the three of them, a high pitched shriek had told them escaping wasn’t going to be nearly as easy as they hoped. The jungle trees suddenly shook as rapid footsteps came into hearing.

Three trees suddenly exploded and fell into the sea, one ended up hitting C-Rex in the head. What appeared next, was a massive, yellow, reptilian body, topped off with an oddly tiny head. This, was of course, the true ruler of the Lawless Monster Zone: the ferocious Skull Monster, Red King.

And he knew that a certain blue behemoth didn’t belong here.

As he looked right at Goliath, the three explorers slowly backed up as Asagi finally spoke. “We need to get farther away. Something tells me this isn’t going to end well..”

With another roar gaining his attention, Goliath’s now bloodied face turned right at Red King. He was instantly put off by his.. Bizarre appearance. He had seen weird beings in space before; purple monsters with elongated heads and sharp appendages jutting out his back, a giant tan monster with the largest jaw he’d ever seen, a golden, three headed dragon who carried a storm wherever he went. But this thing had given almost all of them a run for their money.

Red King growled straight at his blue enemy, demanding that he’d leave the Monster Zone for good. The Space Monster, however, stood his ground. He wasn’t going anywhere, and if this pinhead got on his case again, he wouldn’t like what would come next.

Hearing the word “Pinhead” was Red King’s final straw. Roaring out in rage, he quickly swept away the Ganimes feast from Goliath, the damn pudgy beast didn’t deserve it anyway. But not letting his food be taken from him without a fight, Goliath’s giant arms grabbed onto his crab dinner, and the two monsters engaged in a great game of tug-o-war. The more the both of them pulled, the more Ganimes’ corpse began to unravel and snap away. Further, and further, and further, until…

RIP!

Suddenly, both sides of the crab monster went flying away into opposite sides on the island. One landed on a high hill, the other landed straight into the sea. It had seemed the chaos was to stop the moment that happened.. That was until, Goliath’s horn lit up. Roaring in anger, a burst of lightning struck Red King on the right arm as the yellow monster backed up in pain. Not letting up though, Red King’s left arm struck Goliath right on the nose.

And with that, the fight started.

Goliath slammed into Red King with a full on football tackle, and the two beasts began their brawl on the snowy floor as Mei, Yu and Asagi looked on. Whereas the latter two just stared in shock though, Mei was almost to the point of ecstatic.

“Ooh, this would be perfect to see what Goliath can do in a fight! C’mon guys, we should keep watching, as long as we're good enough at a distance, we should be fine!”

Asagi simply nodded her head and agreed. Yu also agreed, though he sure wasn’t as over the moon about it. “Oh, alright. If you see one kaiju fight though, you’ve pretty much seen them all.”

Further into the island, a hungry scorpion in the form of Ts-eh-GO scoured the land. He was searching for the Ganimes he had infected with his poison not long ago, he felt like it couldn’t have gone too far, but it seemed like it had almost disappeared.

Suddenly, a giant shadow loomed over his head. Looking up, his six eyes would’ve widened if they could’ve, as the upper half of his prey suddenly slammed right into his head!

Backing up with a headache, he looked at the Ganimes. Still fresh it seemed. Still, what could’ve ripped it in half like that?

Suddenly hearing noises, Ts-eh-GO looked over the hill he was on. From a distance, he saw red covered snow, Red King wrestling with another monster, three humans looking on not far away… and C-Rex near the sea, looking just as confused as he was, carrying the lower half of Ganimes.

The arachnid and cephalopod shared two awkward looks at each other, before slowly and silently slinking off into the jungle and ocean depths where they came..

That is good and has a nice premise. Nice to see I’m not the only one who wrote a Kamacuras vs Skullcrawler match.
A reminder to watch Chouseishin Gransazers.
