Spoiler:
Sequel to Match 215: Dogora vs. Colossal Titan

The massive carapace of crystals moved through the cosmos at near light speed. What could have easily been mistaken for a mere comet from a far distance was what most knew was one of the most feared kaiju around.

Godzilla’s cosmic clone. The revered crystal menace. On the many planets and civilizations he raided and destroyed, he gained many names and titles. But on Earth, he wore the simple name of SpaceGodzilla.. And he was on a mission today.

It was nothing anyone on the blue planet knew about, but SpaceGodzilla always made sure to keep tabs on the planet. He kept himself up to date on events going on worldwide, human and kaiju related alike. Tiny crystals he had planted on his first invasion of Earth many years ago, the energy they radiated constantly tracking the essence of the many lifeforms the globe called home. Most of the time, he used it to formulate the perfect time to attack, or at the very least, think of when to attack. He was an intelligent lifeform after all.

And lately, they became more useful to him than ever.

SpaceGodzilla was perhaps one of the first alien beings to know that the Earth had been thrown into turmoil. Another extraterrestrial lifeform had invaded the planet, but one much different from himself. An eldritch abomination that could grow indefinitely in size, multiple tentacles constantly waving around in order to catch and absorb any and everything that was unfortunate enough to get stuck in its way. Glowing a constant eerie, blue hue that signified death and destruction of its many victims and prey. The dreaded Celestial Being.

Dogora.

SpaceGodzilla shuddered at the name. Nasty things those cosmic horrors were. He hated to admit it, but he strayed as far away as he could from the jellyfish-like creatures, not willing to push his luck with them and risk becoming food, or wind up just causing them to multiply via attacking them to begin with. And the powers of Dogora became all the more apparent when it came to Earth and had slain one of its greatest protectors: Mothra Leo. In all honesty, SpaceGodzilla couldn't care less that the Guardian Moth lineage was gone, but with Leo having accidentally caused Dogora to multiply into two before his death, the clone of Godzilla had quickly realized whatever plans he had for takeover were foiled. Earth’s other monsters ran away from Dogora or got killed, and Godzilla himself just seemed to disappear entirely. Still, SpaceGodzilla decided to wait it out. Maybe he'd rule over anyone still lucky to live after Dogora turned the rest of the Earth to rubble.

That scenario would never happen, however. For SpaceGodzilla found out that the two Dogora's had been slain.

And the culprit was NOT who he was expecting. The crystal beast found himself shocked to learn that both Dogora's had been slain by a human… but not just any human it seemed. This human reading was rather odd, and as it turned out, he was hiding a rather big secret. Kubal was known as a Titan-Shifter, from a world parallel to this universe's own. Coming to this dimension via some bizarre circumstance, Kubal was immediately put forth to stop the threat, using what was the strongest thing at his disposal. With a single bite of the hand, the man turned himself into a hulking, 150 meter tall mass of pure heat and muscle. The strongest and most deadly being of his timeline.

The Colossal Titan.

With a body that constantly released extreme heat, not even the acidic body of Dogora was a match for it. Killing both of the alien beings back to back, Kubal quickly grew to hero status among humanity, and seemingly grew to become a concern to the kaiju on Earth.. And given what happened next, for a good reason.

Kubal had proven to be a tyrant, and yet one that quickly climbed up the ranks and wound up being the top military leader in Japan. Gathering up a team of top scientists, he sought a way to kill every monster in the world, for he thought of them as a plague. And using the DNA of Frankenstein, Sanda and Gaira, he eventually found a way: the recreation of the Titans. Innocent people turned into cannibalistic monsters against their will, the Earth had reached a point of it nearly becoming the apocalypse. Kaiju and Titans fought for dominance, all the while Kubal continued his ruthless onslaught on every monster that came in his way. SpaceGodzilla wasn’t exactly aware of the whole story of course, but the crystals had given him enough knowledge to keep him up to date. Already, he could sense the planet he sought to conquer being forced under the Titans’ rule.

And THAT was where the rage breaking point was struck.

It was one thing that he almost let the globe go to waste because of the Dogora invasion, but now the planet was near the point of being overtaken by HUMANS? This weak, pathetic insect dared to try and make mankind become the dominant life form of this planet!? It mattered not that he could become his own kaiju, this fool had no right to believe that he could rule this world with an iron fist. And with other kaiju deceased, or simply too cowardly to take on Kubal, he would be the one to do it. And afterwards, the planet would finally be his to rule..

He had finally reached Earth and breached its atmosphere, and it wasn't a coincidence that he was beginning to strike down not too far from where Kubal currently was located. The rocky landscape of South America, near the famous Aconcagua mountains. Already he could spot the giant, naked humans constantly trying to scout for food. Disgusted by them, he wiped them out instantly while beginning to form his new crystal fortress. Crystals rose from the ground, cutting right through the Titan’s napes like butter, eyes suddenly going dark before they began to crumble into dust entirely. Any of them lucky enough to survive would’ve seen the extraterrestrial finally making touchdown, leaving his flying form as he legs once again began to form. Massive legs slammed down like tree trunks that upshot the entire ground, dirt and roots shooting up as SpaceGodzilla roared out his signature, eagle-like call.

It was a call for battle. And he knew that Kubal wouldn’t resist.

Oooooo, dare I say, intriguing premise! Never would've thought of something like that, haha. Looking forward to see where this goes!

Another trailer hot and ready for all.
Spoiler:
The village of Kitakami River was under attack. The village people ran and hid as thieves riding on horseback came and torched their homes and killed their loved ones, swift arrows marking their graves. The marauders showed no mercy as they slaughtered men, women, and children. In just a short hour, nearly the entire population of the once peaceful village had been wiped out.

A young woman was led by two of the thieves, her struggling growing less and less as the men refused to let her go. Eventually, they reached their location: a cross, not unlike those of biblical times, planted firmly in the dirt, overlooking the river. The woman was dropped to the ground, and she breathed in relief as she believed she had been freed, only to greet reality once more as she was tied to the giant cross. With chains restraining her hands and legs, the woman desperately tried pulling on her confines, only to receive nothing but a tight feeling as her limbs began locking up from exhaustion. She begged and pleaded to be freed, only for the two men to laugh at her.

“You should be happy, not afraid. You have the privilege of being the first of many sacrifices to our ruler”

Before the woman could question what the man had said, the ground began to rumble, as if an earthquake was happening right below her. The earth began to split open, creating a gaping hole which lashed out with fire towards the surface, the flames beginning to spread to the forest, turning it into a raging inferno. It was as if the gates of Hell themselves had been opened. It wasn’t a shock then when a devil not seen for millenia made itself known

A giant hand emerged from the crevice, slamming into the ground with enough force to nearly topple the woman’s crucifixion. As a second hand rose from the crater, the entire body of the entity began to rise. It’s body was pure molten rock, resembling the material the Earth was made from rather than a creature living on it. It’s eyes, or where they would be, ironically resembled the same crude structure that the woman was tied to. Two bony protrusions sat above his back, looking like a mix of serrated claws and wings. But worse of all was the demon’s smile. It’s unnatural grin reeked of pure malice and hatred, but it was anything but as the golem looked upon his sacrifice.

Kumasogami’s smile only widened as he looked down at her as he saw the remaining villagers being slaughtered in the distance. He lived for this carnage, as it was the thing that gave him life and power. Power was achieved from fear, and fear conquers all, something the demon knew all too well. Suddenly, the demon heard a voice from below him. It was one of the men that had summoned him. The man raised his hands to the sky as he reveled in the sight of the God-like being.

“Oh great and mighty Kumasogami, we have called you to bring destruction upon these putrid tribes, who have sinned by not praying in your name! Cleanse these parasites from the Earth, so that you may spread your murderous intentions to the world, and turn it into a living!-”

Kumasogami, getting a little tired of the man’s ramblings, slammed his fist down onto the miniscule human, turning him into little more than ash and sending a shockwave through the ground.

The punch the god had released had positive side effects, at least for the woman, as her constraints had loosened enough as her prison fell to the Earth. The young girl, along with the partner of the man who Kumasogami had killed, both sprinted as fast as they could, neither even focused on the other’s hatred as the two desperately began to run. If Kumasogami’s grin could spread anymore, his jaw would’ve probably broken. He dropped his hands to his sides as they began to morph into weapons. One hand became a bow, the other a set of arrows. He placed one of the arrows into the bow before pulling back and firing. The projectile immediately hit the two running humans, instantly crushing them and sending an explosion of dirt and rock into the sky as the fires the demon had created only intensified. The remaining survivors of the village slaughter and even the demon’s own followers were shocked by the malice that the creature had shown. The demon turned his eyes towards the frightened masses, getting ready to send another arrow in their direction before hearing something behind him.

The false angel turned towards the river behind him, which was bubbling and thrashing, almost as if something was attempting to free itself from the water’s shackles. The villagers seeing this, began chanting and praying their defenders name, for they had a God of their own.

“Baradagi”

“Baradagi!”

Before the demon could question their intentions, the water suddenly erupted upwards as a reptilian form flew out of the water and landed opposite of Kumasogami. The beast’s light brown hide contrasted its dark eyes, which pierced the abomination's heart. It’s back was adorned with long, sharp spikes which went the entire length of the monsters back all the way to the head. It’s claws flexed as the creature's jaw opened and let loose a guttural roar, which carried as much volume as the devil's own piercing cry.

The God Baradagi, Varan the Unbelievable, was pissed.

Alright, last trailer I'm uploading for a while (probably).
Spoiler:
The battles of good and evil have been a topic of many stories since time began. Homer’s Odyssey, the tales of the mighty Hercules, the War in Heaven between the Archangel Michael and the Devil. Each of these stories convey a message of good and evil, each side battling for supremacy. Sometimes good would triumph, while other times evil would rule the day. Even in the modern time of man, these struggles continued.

But what happens when two sides of complete evil meet in combat? A battle that would shake the universe as we know it.

Satellites circled the celestial body above Earth known as the Moon, each machine capturing dozens of pictures while rovers collected samples of Moon rock. On the surface, the footprints of Neil Armstrong were still embedded into the surface, serving as a reminder of mankind’s greatest achievement of successfully landing a man on the moon.

In mere seconds, those signs of achievement would be wiped out.

The surface of the Moon began trembling, as if it was experiencing an earthquake. It split open like an egg, sending fire raining into the empty sky, heralding the apocalypse. The footsteps that had been left by the first man on the moon became little more than empty sand as a monstrous entity began to crawl out of the the crack, its sheer size putting the tallest mountains to shame. It’s crimson hide carried with it eight serpentine heads, each one silently screaming its hatred into the void.

The vessel of Tsukuyomi, Yamata no Orochi was finally freed.

The eight headed beast began slowly walking, groaning as its body ached from his imprisonment. Thousands of years ago, when mankind still lived in small farming villages, he had been beaten by an armored paladin of light, with his human form ending up sealed on the Moon, ensuring that his wrath would never be released again. Unfortunately, it seemed the seal wasn’t permanent, and now he was free. Scanning his surroundings, he saw several of the small drones and rovers recording him, the ones behind the machines watching from Earth in utter shock and fear. Two of Orochi’s maws shot waves of flames, turning the observing crafts into little more than melted scraps. Orochi glanced at Earth, seething in rage. It was time to begin his quest for vengeance on those who wronged him.

Just before he could begin his flight to the planet, he sensed something else arriving. Something alien.

Orochi turned his massive frame around, being utterly shocked by what he saw behind him. The floating entity was as large as him, at least in length. Its body looked nearly transparent, its light blue skin not complementing its true purpose. It was armed with several long, thin tentacles. Perhaps what was most unnerving about the entity was the lack of a mouth, or any facial features for that matter. It was utterly silent, something that even unnerved the mighty Orochi. But the space faring cell was not here by mere coincidence, it was here for one reason and one reason only.

To feed.

Spoiler:
A chittering trill filled the vast cavern of steel, echoing through the glowing tubes that stretched through room after room.

A metal giant towered unmoving in the darkness of the chamber, a room so large it dwarfed even the largest sports stadiums. Even the colossus itself looked small compared to the space it was given. Wires and tubes were embedded in different sections of the monolith’s body, as if a means of life support for something with no lungs. For hours the room and the mecha itself had been silent, quiet enough to hear a pine needle drop—but when the tubes lit aglow with pulsing light, that dreaded chitter echoed like a ghostly giggle in a haunted house. Light traveled through the lengthy appendages like spirits, snaking towards the point of connection with that same incessant trill that began to grow steadily in volume.

Snaking towards the motionless giant… … …

Through the tubes connecting it, the chittering light wormed its way into the monolith of titanium. And at its very presence, pulses of energy began to wave across its metallic grandeur. Twin lights of crimson flashed into existence from a ghoulish face, shining as velvet eyes. Claws like the graspers of a crane began to rotate, with clanks that deafened the massive chamber with painful reverberations. Ruby lights began to shine along the giant’s body, revealing the three blocky plates that lined its back. It was a true beast of a creation; a metallic mockery of a most revered—and feared—beast, standing as the latest great pride of humanity’s technological capabilities.

That was, it was supposed to be.

The very moment the robot’s great limbs moved to show signs of functionality, a different sound began to emanate from its artificial being. A sound that implied the presence of something much deeper, darker lying beneath a mere shell of monstrous metal:

That same unpleasant chittering that flowed through the glowing tubes.

The glow of the android’s eyes grew brighter than ever, betraying the presence of the dark spirit that now possessed hold of its metal form. The mechanical monster opened its mouth, and that same alien trill echoed from its toothless maw; an unintentional far cry from the mighty roar of the beast that inspired its form.

In a window not very far from the standing robot’s head, Walter Simmons watched his company’s creation rise to life at full power. A joyful grin overtook his face as he saw the pulses of azure energy lap across the mecha’s physique, a telltale sign that could only indicate one thing: the Hollow Earth’s energy source had worked, just as planned. All the aggravating power troubles and shutdowns were but echoes of the past, all the mistakes were now corrected. MechaGodzilla, the Apex Titan of his own hand, was ready to fulfill its destiny! And from here Walter would watch with glee, a drink in his hand as always, to revel in the handiwork of his company’s mechanical marvel.

But in his arrogant smiles and the steadily growing fog of alcohol, he could not hear the dreaded trill echoing from the monstrous android.

The robot’s head began to turn, the crimson glow of its internal workings shining like a beacon from Hell within its gargantuan captivity. The chamber thrummed with a booming footfall as MechaGodzilla moved to face the window, where Walter beamed at its sight. But when the mechanized Kaiju lifted its metal skull to look the billionaire right in the eye, Mr. Simmons couldn’t help but feel a cold chill go down his spine. He couldn’t say why, but there was something about the way the Mecha looked at him that gave him a deep sense of unease. As if a force he knew not lay within the crimson lights of the droid’s eyes, looking upon him with the most vile of intentions.

MechaGodzilla took a step towards him.

Walter cocked an eyebrow, suddenly unsure of what exactly he was looking at. This wasn’t to be expected! The entrance to the outside world hadn’t even been opened yet; the robotic wonder was meant to prepare for transportation, and walking in his direction was not the way! What exactly was Mr. Serizawa doing in the control room? Rather nervously, Walter made way to the communication line, trying to contact the son of MONARCH’s beloved biologist as the room vibrated with another footfall from the Mecha.

His efforts bore no answer.

Unease turned to a paralyzing streak of fear, as Walter watched MechaGodzilla lift a rotating claw… … …

*****

Deception Island, Antarctica, was not somewhere one would typically expect the forces of Hell to converge on. In fact, no one would expect someone to construct a multitude of whaling stations and research facilities…on an active volcano, with winds that can reach 200 miles per hour and temperatures drop to -130 fahrenheit. A fact that Nature had taught its former human occupants the hard way; when whaling and seal-hunting had nearly pushed the species to extinction and the fishing community became obsolete, the island was utilized for one last-ditch purpose to be useful. An attempt of which had failed miserably; this island’s volcanic activity had destroyed the research facilities constructed upon its surface, and the remains left over were abandoned permanently like the island itself.

In a land like this, where the shores were still awash with old shacks crumbling with age; a land described by some to be one of the harshest and coldest regions on Earth, any thoughts of further use would be considered null and void. This place was but a relic of history slowly being devoured by the sands of time, literally and figuratively. If one were to pick this of all places to use for a higher purpose, one would be considered an idiot to do so. Just the same; if Satan and his legions were to amass anywhere in the world for apocalyptic purposes, such a cold and human-less land would be at the bottom of his list.

From what two pairs of eyes could see, however, there was a first time for everything.

For one, Deception Island was clouded in red. Snow still adorned its mountainous foundation, but there was another material mixed in with the frozen water and towering limestone: a misty kingdom of Red Dust, Archetype in its first phase. The skies were clouded in it, blotting out the sun as if it never existed. It was a scene straight out of an artist’s painting of the world’s end, eldritch abominations worse than the denizens of Hell itself having finally breached whatever dimensional barriers kept them at bay from Earth.

But it was the second feature that took Professor Li Guying and her protege, graduate student Mei Kamino, by surprise.

The two women made certain to stay hidden behind the foundations of rock, even though they saw no other humans present. The old shacks were as worn and tattered as ever, but both Li and Mei could tell that it was not as unused as it looked—all thanks to one dead giveaway. For on the grounds of the ancient shacks, a gigantic cargo truck remained stationary; larger than any Li had ever seen in her fifty-two years of life. And upon it, half-draped by a large cloak of green shade, was the massive skeleton of what looked to be a dinosaur. Rows of plates lined its body, wisps of red dust trailing faintly from its pores.

“The Skeleton with a Will,” Mei whispered.

Even with the thick winter coat protecting her, Mei shivered lightly as she stared at it. Beside her Li copied the motion, showing no shame in it; it was not the bitter cold that enticed her so. Such a sight would cut the blades of fear through the souls of even the hardiest, and Li was no exception. As if its mere presence wasn’t bad enough; an extra rotten cherry atop an overcooked cake offered itself, in the form of a familiar logo on the side of the vehicle. Even from a few hundred meters afar, both Li and Mei recognized it instantly, and the older woman’s longtime suspicions confirmed themselves to be correct.

APEX had indeed set up shop here. In order to fool the smartest, sometimes you had to think like an idiot—and that’s exactly what they had done. They had thought like idiots, and now a facility of some kind lay hidden in the mountains. Primed and ready to house the ivory vessel that commanded the spreading nightmare, like a sentient tumor propagating a rancid virus.

Except…there was one problem.

“But…if this is the facility, then… … …where is everyone?” Mei asked. “I know capitalists are stupid, but there’s no way they would just leave something like this lying around at their doorstep.”

“Maybe APEX found out those bones were a bomb waiting to go off,” Li replied, slightly shaking her head. “Maybe they tried shipping them here to keep them away from the Kaiju. Maybe they were stupid enough to think bringing them away from a city might delay the Singular Point in Tokyo.”

Mei looked at her. “I’m not following you,” she said, “wouldn’t that just be an invitation for him to follow them here?”

Li’s eyes narrowed just an inch as she turned to look back at the skeleton.

“I’m saying they might’ve tried sneaking the bones away without the Kaiju noticing,” she responded, before adding a hint of abhorrence in her voice, “while they let the Singular Point destroy Tokyo.”

“Sacrifice a city of fourteen million for the sake of a secret to keep,” Mei muttered somberly as she followed Li’s gaze back to the skeleton. “Why am I not surprised?”

There was a specific tone of sadness in her voice that caught Li’s attention, turning her gaze on the graduate student. The professor could tell it was far beyond a mere basic lamentation, merely by the sound of Kamino’s voice; there was a very personal edge in her words, so subtle and yet so crystal clear. For just a moment Li continued to stare at her, unsure of how to proceed–or if she should even proceed at all. But in the end, she decided not to push her any further. She wouldn’t try to pry into the young woman’s life right now, she deserved her sense of personal privacy. Life stories would come later.

A screeching trill echoed from the crimson skies, followed by many others like it. Both women looked up, and a number of familiar shapes could be seen drifting the velvet heavens on leather wings.

“Well if there’s a silver lining in all this, it looks like they didn’t make it,” Li stated. “Rodans probably got them.”

“More than that,” Mei almost seethed as she grabbed a pink, dinosaur-shaped camera out of her coat.

“What are you doing?” Li asked, confused at first.

“Evidence,” was Mei’s only reply before she put the camera to her eyes. Focused, unmoving and paying no mind to the cold that bit at her skin, Mei snapped as many photos as she deemed content. More than a few, all of them snapped in rapid succession. Taken with what Li had no doubt were the utmost precision and quality; Mei had a natural talent for photography.

The violet-haired woman had only just snapped her last photo when the ground rumbled with a distant boom–and afterwards, the sound of water erupting rebounded through the Antarctic terrain. The pair had just begun to turn around when a sound echoed hauntingly through the mountainous landscape. It was the last sound both women wanted to hear, and here of all places. A noise so loud, it hurt their eardrums and forced them to cover them with their hands. Before they could relinquish, another powerful tremor shook the land–and not a second after, another great roar howled into the wind.

SKREEEEEEEEEOOOOOONK!

GRAARRRNNNGR!

A football field’s length away from the shoreline, two giants clashed as the humans stared in frightful awe. One; an amalgamate sea serpent of segmented olive flesh and shrimp-like arms, its shark-like head adorned by a feathery salamander’s mane and pointed horns. It roared mightily as it grappled with the other, wringing its coils around a dinosaurian juggernaut that thrashed amidst the velvet tide. A towering beast crowned by the three rows of alabaster spines lining its great back, swinging a tail that spanned beyond many blue whales. Red dust poured nonstop from its shoulders, puffing into clouds as the beast moved. The abominable serpent clamped its teeth upon scales shaped like a samurai’s armor, and the Singular Point gaped his fanged maw to thunder the air in his wrath.

But try as he may, the Manda’s efforts were for naught.

An evocative chime rang through the atmosphere as the Hopeless Future’s dorsal spines shone to life with azure luminance, and his great jaws gaped. Rings of sapphire energy formed in front of his maw; light refracting through time to contain itself in one concentrated spot. Photons from the future gathering in the present, to amplify in intensity with every passing second until… … …

BOOM!

A cobalt laser of atomic radiation sprung from the Singular Point’s jaws, and the effects were instant and devastating. The Manda didn’t even have time to roar before his entire upper body was severed cleanly from his serpentine form, like a molten knife through a block of butter. Roaring while firing, the Apocalyptic Monster swung his beam over the mountains that towered in the distance, and instantly their peaks were cut clean off their perches before he ceased fire. The sound barrier sung with his triumph when Godzilla shook any and all with his infamous roar, sending flocks of Rodans scattering like gnats.

Once an already massive 50 meters in height, both humans could tell that the reptilian yokai was not the same size as he was the last time they saw him. Now, the archetypical behemoth towered an even more incomprehensible 100 meters tall.

“He’s even bigger than he was before,” Mei whispered dreadfully. “He’s been growing in the Red Dust…”

“Mei, it’s time to go,” Li ordered as she stood from her crouch, the young woman following her lead as they turned to go back the way they came.

But when a new sound vibrated from lands the eye did not see, they stopped dead in their tracks.

Shredded skin and bone fell from the rotating cranes that now served as his new claws. The feeling of its bones crunched to pieces as its flesh tore asunder had been ever so pleasant to the hulking terror, who trilled with satisfaction as he moved his new limbs of his own volition for the first time.

Twin lanterns of velvet shone from the metal beast’s face, betraying the eyes of the demon within. He knew the exact passing of time since he ended up in his immobile state, his mind a virus that spied upon all that humanity knew. Internet articles, personal APEX files, audio and informative logs, all right under APEX’s nose. It had been eleven years since his humiliating defeat, at the breath of he who he had since dreamt of tearing apart to this day. Eleven long, miserable, tedious, exhaustingly patient years. Too long that he hadn’t seen the great hives of the hairless primates drowned in seas of his creation, birthed by the great cyclonic throne that followed his very presence. Long he did, to see the masses die screaming at his feet and atomize into vapor to blow away in the wind at the touch of his breath. To see a whole world end by his hand, to hear his voice rise above the cataclysmic tempests that tore the planet apart as the supreme voice in the cosmos. Spitting in the face of all hope as he stood atop the ravaged corpse of the one he hated more than life itself, the saurian guardian whom had defiled him for so exhaustingly long.

The one who had put him in his miserable state…

His mechanical eyes grew ever brighter at the mere thought of that wretch.

His body was a towering machine knitted in the very design of he who he loathed so very much; but through the countless tests run by its former controllers, King Ghidorah knew this new body was quite a lethal weapon in its own right, thus it would prove him most useful for the time being. A great many skull-faced Titans had already died by this vessel’s hands, in ways that filled the King of Terror with elation; a pleasant exercise that helped him cope with over a decade of waiting.

But wait he would no longer, for he was at last strong enough to live in this body without any more assistance from unwitting primate subjects. An endless goldmine of energy now coursed through this body, powering it like no other energy source could. His body had suffered no scratches or damages in ages; it was at 100% condition and functionality.

It was far past time to reveal himself to a horrified world.

Through the jaws of this ‘MechaGodzilla’, King Ghidorah boomed his signature cackle as he turned his back on the shattered viewpoint that once housed the robot’s dead human controllers, leaving what remained of them behind. Stepping over to the wall, the possessed mecha wasted no time and let loose its most fearsome weapon; a ruby-hued laser that erupted from its toothless jaws to drill through metal and rock alike in succession so short it was laughable. Trailing his robotic head this way and that, King Ghidorah made certain to carve out as much of the material as possible—and all the while, he began to move. Swinging the arms of his new body, he clawed and tore through all in his path. Steel and circuitry were the first to fall, but before long he was shredding earth and limestone like fresh tinfoil. Blasting and swiping, the One Who was Once Many ripped through the ailing prison that housed his tormented being for so long.

When he heard a roar that sent memories running through the river of his mind, memories that would’ve made his blood boil had he possessed any, he doubled his efforts. So engrossed in his fury was King Ghidorah, that he didn’t even notice the mountain rumbling from events not of his doing—but he cared not.

His objective was not much farther.

Light began to spark his vision past the falling earth and rock, and the dragon in dinosaur’s clothing dug ever harder; his crimson beam piercing all the way into the outside world as he carved a canal to herald his emergence. And when the demon ceased fire, emerge he did with a most triumphant cry. Pulling himself free of the subterranean uterus that imprisoned him, expecting a chorus of terror-stricken screams and woeful cries for his return as the skies churned and lit with their electric fury upon his reawakening.

But the bell of his voice went quiet when such fantasies were snuffed out by what greeted his eyes instead.

The sea and sky alike was a bloody crimson, the land around him permeated with a strange red fog that smothered the heavens from view and obscured much in front of him. Even the snow that fell was of this same hue, as if the velvet skies were raining frozen blood. Above the mechanical vessel, pterosaurian beasts soared the skies in mass flocks, filling the air with piercing screeches. He had woken into what looked to be a whole new world, far different from the one he left behind.

It was then that two things caught his eye.

For one, an unmistakable skeleton lay some hundreds of meters away, next to some decrepit structures of human origin. Normally, such a sight would’ve filled the King of Terror with an overhwelming wrath, for no one but him was allowed to slay the Alpha Predator who caused him so much trouble. The ancient saurian was his rival, and therefore his to slaughter and his alone. However, the sight of such bones could bring no rage from him; instead, they boggled his vile mind with a confusion he had yet to feel. For if those bones belonged to his loathsome rival…

…then how come Godzilla himself was standing not far away?

Spoiler:
For Anguirus (R) vs. Salunga

The metallic behemoth swung forward with a large object held firmly in its hands. Anguirus shook his head, his consciousness slowly fading away as his eyes were barely able to keep track of his foe. He let out a tired snarl, finding it unnatural that such a lifeform was able to keep fighting on even when he invoked a blow as powerful as that one. Compared to him, Anguirus was perplexed at how the being could keep going, even when it was missing a leg and its head. Still, the creature couldn’t deny his own state of health. The prior shot he endured cut off the air from his lungs, with his vision getting hazier by the second.

Anguirus had to continue, at least to where he can get the strange moving object to relent in its assault, so he can retreat back to the forest and recover. With one last defiant roar, the quadruped charged, feeling a surge of energy flow into him as he smashed into the robot.

Despite it all, time slowed down for him with his mind pacing back and forth between every thought. His memories in the Red Dust, what several would perceive as his home, were largely blank. All he could recall was a miserable existence, walking through an endless storm being pelted by red particles. The others that inhabited the dimension relished in it, showering themselves in energy every particle that made contact with them.

Then, his mind became clear.

A crack opened in the realm, sucking the particles in as it unleashed several excited howls from the Rodans. Through that brief window, he saw a whole array of colors and objects he couldn’t even begin to process. He watched those annoying pests soar through the breach, knowing full well these new objects would be blanketed by the pestering storm. He shook his head, wanting to experience the new world before it was consumed.

Anguirus bolted through the crack and found a world that overtook him. His heart stopped while his eyes darted around, scanning every piece he could find. Large, thin brown objects surrounded him while green surfaces rested on top as rays of sunshine peaked through. He heard a faint noise, as he felt his body beginning to move once more. Anguirus found himself in front of a small moving path separating portions of the forest. He eyed the path, watching the liquid run down, splashing the rocks. Whatever it was, it looked completely appetizing compared to the constant pests he feasted on.

Lowering his snout, he dunked it in the liquid and felt the refreshing water hitting the inside of his mouth. Anguirus felt enamored by the taste and went in for another. He spent several minutes drinking before deciding to continue his trek in the forest, eyeing every piece of it with great interest.

This world, this place. It was nothing like the one he came from and yet, he could already call it “home”. Anguirus cherished every bit of it, but the reminder hit him like a bullet train. He heard several screeches, ones he was all too familiar with. He looked up to see several Rodans flying above the trees, as their red particles seeped through the leaves and onto the ground. While it was faint, the seeds of where he originated from were starting to take over.

Anguirus let out a defiant roar as he rushed through the forest, intending to hunt down every creature that went through the crevice. He wasn’t in this world for long, but he already cherished everything about it and won’t let his kind take it from him.

That dream, however, was not meant to be.

Time fast forwarded, with a loud shot being heard. The air in his lungs was completely wisped away as Anguirus felt his heart sink. He felt a major pain in his head with his horn being shot off and replaced with the object shot into his skull. His vision went black, with his worst fears coming to life.

He could no longer see the world he had come to admire in the short amount of time he was there. If only he had more time….

A ringing was heard as Anguirus’ eyes slowly opened. He couldn’t keep them open for long as they were overtaken by his loss of consciousness. What he saw, however, was a dark metallic room with red lighting. Had he had more control over his body, he would have hated what he saw.

“He’s reacting against the stimuli… we don’t know how much longer we can keep him down,” a voice cried out, as Anguirus barely registered the words, seeing it as nothing more than noise.

“We can manage. He’s our only test subject now that the Red Dust has subsided,” another affirmed harshly.

Anguirus opened his eyes to see two people clad in long white clothing speaking a few feet in front of him. He couldn’t fully comprehend it as he tried to move forward, but felt himself restrained. He tilted his head sluggishly, feeling the weakness still stirring in his body, only to find his joints cladded with iron shackles. The spawn of the Red Dust attempted to move forward once more, but immediately collapsed and let out an exhausted roar, startling the scientists near him.

“Double the dose, now!” one of them ordered angrily, glaring directly at the tired monstrosity in front of her. Anguirus returned the gesture until he felt sleep engulf him, he didn’t know what he did to be here or why he was being denied the place he had come to love. However, he couldn’t ponder it for much longer as he finally succumbed to the sedative.

His eyes opened once more, but unlike his previous awakenings, he felt more control of his body. Anguirus huffed and puffed as he recognized more of his surroundings, with machines all around him eliciting beepings he found all too irritating. He heard several of the small creatures' voices screaming and shouting as their footsteps echoed throughout the large room. Everything in this storage unit reminded him of everything he had come to detest.

Anguirus took a step forward, but felt himself nearly being pulled down. Those shackles were still wrapped around his limbs. With little time at hand, the child of the red dust bent down and gripped the metal with his teeth and snapped it into two.

The spiky captive unleashed a howl as his teeth grew sore from biting into the metal. Yet, he had no choice. Anguirus bent forward and bit down on the second chain, snapping it with ease, but unleashed another roar in pain when he felt one of his teeth chipping in half. He took a moment to compose himself from the affliction he had just endured.

“Open fire!” a voice screeched out.

Before Anguirus could predict what he was about to be hit by, he was pelted by several small objects. Some ricocheted off his spikes while others bombarded his skin, inflicting bruises onto his already tattered body.

Anguirus turned to face them to properly deflect the oncoming projectiles. His spikes moved rapidly and lit up the sterile room with its purplish and green aura as the bullets immediately bounced back towards the creatures firing upon him. Some of them scattered for cover while others were repelled by the projectiles.

The captive resumed his assault on the shackles placed on him, however, another hail of bullets raced towards him as Anguirus foresaw the attack once more. Anguirus shifted his head out of the way and instead collided with the shackle, shattering it to pieces.

With one shackle left, Anguirus swiped at his attackers, fending them off as best as he could as some flew across the room. He turned his attention back towards the manacle and endured himself for the coming pain of tearing it off. His jaws inches away from the metal when his whole body lit up, notifying him of the impending threat.

Anguirus turned around only to find a rocket charging straight at him, with only a second to spare, he sauntered over over a few feet, but it wasn’t enough. The project landed a direct hit onto his side, eliciting a blood curled cry. He turned to look at his side, noticing shrapnel piercing through his hide as blood slowly poured out as pain started to take its toll. Anguirus let out a howl, forcing the personnel attacking him to cover their ears from the piercing scream.

Despite it all, he soon found the trade off from the impact.

He was free.

With the last trammel broken off, Anguirus moved forward; albeit limping from his newly inflicted wounds. Letting out another roar, he scanned the area, searching for an exit out of this prison. Unfortunately, this whole room was coated with metal and Anguirus knew it would only mean inflicting more pain onto himself to free himself.

Anguirus breathed for a moment before unleashing another roar, buying himself another few seconds from being battered once more. He braced himself, knowing full well the impact will inflict lasting damage onto his body. Then, in the blink of an eye, he bolted and collided with the wall, screeching from the pain traveling throughout his whole body. His body soon collapsed onto the ground as his ears tuned out the noise still coming from the complex and instead was met with silence.

Anguirus lifted his head up weakly, his eyes meeting the gaze of the moon shining its light onto him. He couldn’t help but admire the beauty of it. It was as beautiful as the sun greeting him in the forest. This world had so much for him and he had to see it all.

The creature of the red dust huffed and puffed, planting his feet firmly into the ground. The silence was replaced once more with the voices from the prison, but he ignored the pain for once and put all of his energy into his feet. He eyed his destination and knew he could take solace in the forest before, hoping they would continue to bless him with the gifts of this world.

His journey of what he wanted has begun.

Teaser for one of our newest combatants :D
Spoiler:
High above the clouds, a creature flew through the sky. It carried a colossal body, adorned in a bright shade of green. In the front, it held a powerful jaw and two short but lethal claws. It was no wonder the beast was greatly aerodynamic, for its tail was shaped strangely close to the tail of a plane. Its true name was rarely spoken, but civilizations throughout the years gave it many different names. The Hydra, The Midgard Serpent, The Rainbow Snake, Wadjet, but its real name was one that struck both fear and wonder into those who heard it.
Rayquaza

The modern people had classified him as a “Pokemon”, a strange form of creature not unlike the Earth’s own fauna. Some were the size of a common squirrel, while others towered over entire fields. However, Rayquaza was recognized as one of the most powerful, belonging to a class only shared by creatures of legendary status much like himself.

But the world had plenty of other mighty creatures, some even matching the gods in power: Kaiju.

The legendary Pokemon flew silently through the sky, on the lookout for any dangers to the world below. After flying for approximately an hour, the dragon got ready to depart to his resting place after not detecting anything, until he suddenly sensed something strange. Not knowing if what he sensed was a threat, he decided to check just to be safe. And so, the colossal flier turned his body towards the location of Tokyo. Upon arriving, the Pokemon was shocked. The city was currently under attack, crumbling buildings fusing with crushed and mangled bodies to create a sight which made even the godly serpent gag. Rayquaza narrowed his eyes in fury. Whatever caused this destruction needed to be stopped. He bellowed a mighty call that echoed throughout the destroyed metropolis, demanding the interloper show its face.

It responded.

A low growl reached Rayquaza’s ears as he turned towards the source of the sound. His eyes widened as he saw it. Its body was long and green, carrying a powerful set of teeth and two short, stubby arms. If Rayquaza could, his eyes would’ve popped out of their sockets.

This creature looked just like him.

Time for another one.
Spoiler:
The Earth is no stranger to Titans. From the darkest depths of the oceans, to the highest peaks of the sky, these monsters have made themselves known throughout the whole world. Some wish to protect mankind, while others want to destroy it. Remarkably, these Titans live in relative harmony, with their Alpha’s watchful gaze ensuring any conflict would be remedied.

That was, until the Merge.

No one could explain it, but one day, rifts appeared all over the world, bringing even more monsters to the planet. Some were familiar to the world, others new species to study, some nearly brought the end of mankind. But through it all, the people of Earth persevered and survived the calamity. It seemed everything would finally be normal again.

Unfortunately, it was not meant to be, and three kings, each rulers of their respective kingdoms, would face each other in mortal combat. Far below the Earth’s crust, a strange world existed, where even stranger Kaiju roamed. But two new arrivals to the Hollow Earth would prove to be disastrous to the land's future. When these three Titans met, it would go down in history as the bloodiest fight the world had ever seen.

Soon, they had finally converged.

The first, the “King of Monsters” stared at his opponents. His skin was a charcoal black, with his back being adorned with white dorsal plates, heralding the power of the atom. His streamlined body combined with his near human-like posture made him an excellent combatant, one that could take on any enemy. Rearing his head back, Godzilla let out a guttural roar which echoed through the Hollow Earth.

The second, the once King of Skull Island, stood opposite of Godzilla. Embedded in the ground next to him was a specially crafted axe, its handle being shaped by a blue dorsal spine similar to Godzilla’s. His appearance was most similar to the planet's great apes, with brown fur covering most of his being. His powerful forearms clenched tightly as he pounded his chest, roaring loudly to express his desire for combat.

The final combatant, stationed between the two Titans, was a most peculiar one. Created by the ancient Atlanteans, he had been sealed away for thousands of years after a war against their own creations, the Gyaos. Now, he was freed in the modern day, held by his righteous sense of justice, which determined both of his opposers to be threats to the planet. His face was decorated with two tusks protruded out of his mouth, while his elbows each contained retractable spikes. His heavily armored shell glistened even in the coming afternoon, while his plastron was colored a dull black. Bellowing to the heavens, Gamera was ready for a fight.

With a series of roars and screeches, the three kings rushed forward.

Another trailer for the same match because why not? :D
Spoiler:
Seeing the ape laying next to him, Godzilla began stomping on his chest, only for his leg to be grabbed and pushed away, forcing him to stagger backwards. As Kong once more stood, he charged at Godzilla, the king of Monster Island following suit. The two pulled their fists back before letting them slam into the other, creating huge shockwaves and blasting away the dirt at their feet, creating a small hole. The two then locked their other fist, now attempting to push the other back. Seeing as they were locked in a stalemate, Godzilla’s dorsal spines began glowing with a haunting light. Realizing that what was about to come wouldn’t be good, and seeing Gamera approaching from behind, Kong released Godzilla’s paws and ducked just as Godzilla released his atomic breath, the radioactive attack slamming into Gamera and sending him back with a cry of pain as sparks and fire briefly encompassed his stomach.

New trailer, coming in hot!
Spoiler:
Titanosaurus was lost. And he definitely couldn’t say he was aware of his surroundings at the moment.

Was he still even on Earth? If he was, then he must’ve entered a part of the planet he didn’t even know about. As much as it looked like his world, the landscape, desert-filled with jungles far apart from each other, was just too different to possibly be Monster Island, and his allies were nowhere in sight. That said, he definitely wasn’t alone in this land; everywhere he looked there was something staring right back at him. He could only guess that the locals were aware of his foreigner status, backing up slightly at the sight of a monster that effortlessly towered all of them combined mixed with the fact that others of his kind clearly had never come to this particular world before.

Okay, he had to retrace his steps. What did he remember last…

He was on Monster Island, that much he was certain. A storm was brewing on the horizon, yet he didn’t remember feeling any rain as thunder flashed overhead. Still, weather like this wasn’t entirely unusual, and he didn’t see any reason to get worked up over it at the time. So then he went back to sleep.. Beyond that though, it all just felt like a blur. He recalled waking up in the middle of the night, but the lightning that came with the storm almost made it feel like it was turning into day. But beyond his vision being blinded by a ghostly blue ray, that was it. Just in an entirely different environment, and nobody was there to guide him through it.

It was only then he realized how.. Eerily quiet it was. Despite their being wildlife all around him, they barely made any noise as they continued to stare at him like statues. At least it meant that he didn't have to force himself into another pointless conflict. He continued walking forward, moving closer towards the mountains in the distance. Maybe if he could get a bird's eye view, he’d be able to find some sort of exit point he could head to.

Dinosaurian footprints left massive imprints in the sand as the crimson giant continued to find any hope of getting home in sight. Still no sign of anything too noteworthy, but the storm in the distance got some of his attention. If it moved any closer, he might have to take shelter considering how dark the clouds were.

Actually, now that he thought about it, it looked an awful lot like-

Hisss…

Suddenly, the dinosaur froze like a deer in the headlights, clearly hearing the noise of someone hissing at him in the distance. He looked around, but saw nobody. Was it camouflage? Hidden in plain sight and about to attack. Regaining his nerves, his elephantine sounding roar echoed out at the dunes in front of him. If something out there wanted to fight, then why didn’t they show themselves!

Just then, the desert sand suddenly bursted open, and the culprits become clear. Massive, black reptiles with gigantic arms and huge horns. Once their heads parted the sand entirely, their split jaws parted, releasing a chilling howl that told most creatures in this world to stay away. If a new creature were to walk into this world, then they would see it as more food to feast upon.

Titanosaurus had encountered the Black Diablos.

One of them licked their lips as it came ever more forward, but the red sea monster tensed and got ready for action. As much as he hated fighting, if it came down to defending his life, he wouldn’t hesitate in the slightest. Leaping out of the sand, the first Black Diablos planned to tear the dinosaur’s head right off his shoulders, but got its jaws caught in two, muscular hands. Being slammed right back down into the dunes, the other Diablos began to charge, planning to drive its horns right into the saurian’s kneecaps. With a mighty kick, Titanosaurus sent the smaller being flying away, while the first Diablos began to bite deep into his arm, only to find that its opponent's skin was too dense for teeth to puncture.

Alright, that's enough. Titanosaurus planned to end this fight quickly. Swift and to the point, he grabbed the Diablos that was trying to bite him by the horns, and then tossed it into its brethren like a bowling ball. Quickly running in with his gigantic legs, rearing his foot back, he sent one of them soaring to the sky as its ribs broke with a nauseating CRACK.

Seeing its comrade go flying, the remaining Black Diablos tried to keep up its attack. It went in to kill Titanosaurus, planning to tear out the jugular, a pair of hands caught the horned demon by the jaw like a dog getting muzzled. Then, holding it still, the amphibious dinosaur began to rapidly punch away at the black monster’s head, spewing blood and fracturing the skull. Once he felt like it had enough, he effortlessly tossed it away, the Diablos' back cracking as it collided with a rock.

Recovering with a groan, the Diablos refused to admit defeat. It trudged back in, completely unaware of the sound of another monster's yelling…

CRASH!

… And was too late to avoid the other of its kind slamming right into him like a meteor.

A shrill cry was aimed right at the Diablos duo, as Titanosaurus made it clear he wanted them to leave. Get lost, or lose your lives!

Begrudgingly, the two subterranean reptiles agreed. Digging their way back under the sand, they left the area, not planning on bothering Titanosaurus ever again. The crimson dinosaur continued to watch as they disappeared into the distance.

The red kaiju snorted, then turned back toward the mountains. The storm seemed to stagnate in the distance, but it seemed like in order to escape this place, he needed to head towards it. His idea to climb to the top to get a better view never left his mind, and he once again marched to his objective. His cat-like eyes still continued to look around however; for he didn't know what other creatures lurked in the distance. Most kept their distance, but he already had proof that others could be hostile.

For all he knew, one of them could be spying on him right now…

******

Unbeknownst to Titanosaurus, his paranoia was closer to the truth than he realized. Hiding behind the cliffside far behind the aquatic beast, his massive wings melted into the brown stone as he eyed the intruder with a mix of anger and curiosity.

The mere sight of the mobster made his blood boil, flames licking at his lips as he continued to stare. This outsider thought it could just barge in here and become the top dog?! How dare this freak take over his domain, his very kingdom? Only one being could act as the alpha here, and he had no intention of sharing the title with some long necked freak.

No.. this would not stand. He wouldn’t rest until this thing was dead at his feet. His wings taking him to the skies, the monster flew higher and higher, until he disappeared into the clouds, carefully giving chase to Titanosaurus.

Had any human managed to spot the beast, they would say it was almost an exact, living replica of a medieval dragon…

A guy who randomly stumbled upon this place one day, invested much too much time into it, and now appears to be stuck here for all eternity..and strangely enough, i do not regret it!

Okay, so I've been working on this one for a bit, and I think it'd be fitting to finally get a trailer out for it considering the recent call to arms for getting some matches with the TBA combatants. Feedback would definitely be appreciated though, as I don't really know much about one of the combatants home franchise and wanna rid myself of any inconsitencies.
Spoiler:
An azurite void.

That was all Ultraman could see as he continued to spiral inside of the vortex. A patrol mission to investigate a mysterious "crack" in the fabric of reality had gone horribly wrong. The moment he got close, it had suddenly burst open and pulled him in, sending the famed warrior tumbling into a vortex that seemed to be a one way trip to who knows where. The sapphire light was blinding, the land between dimensions going across at speeds even light itself couldn't comprehend…..

Not giving up, the brave hero tried to reorganize himself, curling up into a ball as a ruby red sphere encircled himself. Getting into his travel sphere, the Champion of M78 tried to move it forward with as much might as he could muster. Even against the near infinite weight this strange wormhole gave, the red ball continued to soar at speeds faster than light, forcing its way towards whatever exit that laid a head. Faster and faster it went..

.. Until it suddenly ceased.

Dazed, Ultraman seized control of the travel sphere, and looked at his surroundings. It started as a blur, but as his vision refocused, it all became familiar ground. The sun, the moon, the familiar constellations in the distance. Could it be? But how…

Simply looking to his right confirmed his suspicions. Not too far away was a familiar blue ball that he had grown to love so dearly. The home of humanity, and the only planet in this solar system with life: Earth. The city lights on the darker side of the globe like millions of stars.

And yet, he couldn't help but feel as if something was off about it. The planet itself looked the same, the presence of the people on it felt the same.

Where were the kaiju?

No sign of Godzilla, and no luck finding Gamera. Not a single sight of Mothra or King Kong.. Even when turned back around and had his senses locked onto the cosmos, he expected to find Gigan or King Ghidorah even billions of lightyears away; but even they seemed to have fallen off the radar.

But he did sense something though, both from Earth and beyond. They were too different to be kaiju, but too powerful to be any average animal. What were they? Did they have to do with the disappearance of the monsters? Was it even a threat?

The more he investigated, the more confused he got. He had to contact his allies back home.

"Zoffy! Do you read me?" Ultraman said. "The crack in the sky, it.. became a wormhole somehow. It took me close to the Earth, but-"

Krrrrt…

No response but white noise.

"What!? But that's impossible!" Now the hero was starting to panic. He tried contact again.

"Seven, do you read me!? Ace? Jack, Taro, anyone!?"

The silence was devastating, and Ultraman knew it meant no good. Something was definitely wrong here. These presences.. They came more from the Earth itself than anywhere else in the galaxy. Perhaps it was the first one to be claimed by these bizarre creatures. With no other option but a complete investigation of Earth on his mind, the legend of Nebula M78 soared toward the blue planet, on the hunt for clues.

Having almost completely forgotten about the strange wormhole that sent him here to begin with, he wasn’t aware of what others lurked in the deepness of space.. Or what they would pull in.

******

Somewhere, billions of lightyears away, the runaway black dwarf star continued to sail across the vastness of the universe. It was only half the size of Earth, but its mass was much greater. By this point, it was almost legend, being seen as a blip in the night sky by some…. And a destroyer of worlds by others.

Gorath.

The red sphere had no sentience, but its history of tearing civilizations asunder reached the point of being downright cruel. There was no way to properly stop it, only hope that somehow you could avoid it. Already it was on its way, ready to strike down whatever planet that came next.

However, this time, the death star would not get that chance. Right where its continued flight path was, a sudden crack formed in the middle of space, glowing a ghostly blue. By the time Gorath got closer to it, it opened with sheer force, sucking everything in like a vacuum. Even the mighty Gorath star could not withstand it, even the density of the star began to wane as pieces of it broke off like a stone statue. And yet, it was too strong to truly fade into nothingness. Its mass would mean it would take a long time for the dwarf star to make its way into the next realm that awaited it.

But its path of destruction would continue all the same….

Ozone Layer

Something was awaiting the massive star’s arrival, however. Something that caught the Ultra Wormhole activity red handed, and the beings that it had sent into this realm. One of them, a living creature no less, had downright thrown itself right into the Earth’s atmosphere. But it never noticed him. He kept himself well hidden, all the way on the other side of the world. It didn’t come from this planet. Matter of fact, it didn’t even come from the same dimension.

One thing was for sure though, it definitely was no Pokémon.

Its intentions were unclear to him, but the mere idea of something that big wreaking havoc on the Earth, even unintentionally, was a horrifying thought. So, carefully, he uncurled himself, making sure this potential foe wouldn’t sense his presence. Soon, these wormholes would unleash an arguably bigger threat, but taking care of a living intruder came first. His massive, serpentine body left the ozone layer and went towards the Earth’s surface, hellbent on the trail of his newest target.

And to find him, he needed to head towards the place he was heading towards first.

Hoenn, Sky Pillar. 2: 20 PM

“Pika! Pika!”

“Alright, Pikachu! Calm down!”

Two best friends ran around the massive pillar without a care in the world, marveled at the sights that came before them. The famed (or depending on who you ask, infamous) Ash Ketchum, alongside his yet to evolve Pikachu, were currently on a trip to the Hoenn region, but they couldn’t say no to visiting one of the most revered places in history.

Alongside them, not too far away, were Misty and Brock. The former happily slurped down a blueberry slushie as she looked across the skyline, while the latter was more focused on reading about the many myths and legends that made their home here. Whatever the case, it was a way for them to finally unwind after many life endangering adventures. Who would have guessed how many Pokémon out there were downright world ending?

"It says here, that thousands of years ago, anyone who was lucky enough to head here during a bad storm would be able to see a monsters' shadow hidden behind the clouds!" Brock exclaimed. "It was almost like seeing a ghost!'

Misty looked at him with an intrigued look. "Oooh! Does it say what they looked like?"

"Actually, no. Apparently every time someone would spot it, it would have a different form than who saw it last. But a lot of people believe that they were visions of the three Elemental Pokemon, who were famed for using their respective types to conceal themselves. Apparently it was a really good place for them to unwind after a while.”

“You guys think we’ll ever get a chance to really see them again?” Ash said, his tiny, yellow companion now cuddling his master in his arms. “I mean.. It’s been so long since anyone has really seen them last. I’m sure that all of them are back to a thousand year rest by now.”

“Pshaw, it couldn’t have been THAT long, Ash!” Brock snickered. “ All those months passed and somehow you’re still ten!”

“Oh, ha ha.. Just wait till I turn eleven Brock. I’m already on the way to being taller than you!”

“Alright you two, knock it off!” Misty playfully teased. “So, where are we heading after this? I heard there’s a bunch of stuff we can find if he head a little bit more south. Still can’t believe I never caught a-”

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

Suddenly, all three of the pairs’ phones went off, the message all three of them received being especially odd. “RED AND SILVER GIANT SPOTTED FLYING OVER MULTIPLE REGIONS” the headlines read. Brock couldn’t help but look dumbfounded at the photos that had gone with it. An obvious, if rather blurred, photo of a massive humanoid creature, soaring through the Alola Region at speeds it almost turned into a red and white missile. Apparently the photographer said they barely managed to catch it at all, and the sound of it flying nearly ruptured their eardrums.

And yet, he still couldn't help but feel a bit skeptical. "Are we sure this isn't some really good photoshop or something?" He said. "It almost looks like one of those fake Loch Ness Monster images you'd see online.."

Then there was a sound, like a rearing jet engine from overhead. Misty looked towards the horizon, and quickly realized that the sightings were all too real..

"Can you dispute something like THAT!?"

Ash, Brock and Pikachu quickly turned around, and screamed like banshees the moment they saw the colossus. Not only was the silver giant real..

But it was coming straight towards them!

******

Ultraman couldn't understand why everyone seemed so afraid of him. Everyone on Earth knew who he was, they cheered whenever he stepped in to save the day, but every reaction he got so far was either fear, shock or some mix of both.

Just what was going on here?

In front of him, there was a pillar, which he could see some civilians standing upon. He definitely didn't remember any architecture like this being built, but for some reason, he felt as if it held some importance somehow. Maybe he could get some answers?

With that, the famed hero of the universe went over to the Sky Pillar until he was almost on top of it. Repositioning himself so that he could land in the water, he gently touched down, his massive size suddenly being shrunk down.

******

The sight was unbelievable, seeing the brightly colored giant become not much taller than the average man. It didn’t perform a superhero landing like most would assume it would have, rather slowly landing on the platform, giving it more of a sense of grace rather than terror.

And everyone on the Sky Pillar was shocked even more when he began to speak.

“Greetings Earthlings. I am Ultraman, hero of the M78 Nebula. I have come to your planet in order to find out what has happened to your planet!”

The quartet of Ash, Pikachu, Misty and Brock stared at the alien hero in a mix of wonder and confusion. Figuring out what happened to Earth? I mean, the planet had faced its fair share of world-ending threats, but nothing like that had happened in a while..

“Uh, Mr. Ultraman..” Ash timidly said, walking up to the extraterrestrial. “I don’t understand what you’re talking about. The Earth has been perfectly fine for a while now!”

“From my perspective it isn’t” The extraterrestrial hero said back. “It seems that the planet has rapidly changed from the last time I was back here, and… Huh?”

Caught off guard by the odd, yellow and black striped bundle in Ash’s arms, Ultraman slowly and carefully walked towards it, gaining eye contact with the odd, mammalian creature, who looked back at it with the same curiosity.

“Why, I’ve never seen a creature quite like this one before. Is it supposed to be.. Some sort of Dorat?”

“A ‘Dorat’?” Brock questioned. “Pikachu is.. W-well, he’s a Pikachu. That’s a type of Pokémon. You’ve never heard of a Pokémon before?”

“When I came to this planet last, the globe had creatures called kaiju. But.. I have found no presence of Kaiju on Earth anymore. Just more of these ‘Pokémon’ as you call them. And the landscape has vastly changed as well..”

Misty didn’t say much at first, still in awe of the extraterrestrial before her. But, she quickly realized something wasn’t entirely adding up. “U-Ultraman, sir, do you remember what happened before you came here?”

“Yes, actually. It was the strangest thing!” The Ultra replied. “I was sent on the mission by the higher ups of my people to investigate an anomaly in space; a sort of.. Crack in the middle of reality. When I got there, it was exactly what it sounded like, but the moment I got closer to it, it started expanding and-”

“Lemme guess, turned into a giant, blue black hole and sucked you in?” Ash said.

“Yes! You know what it was?”

Brock handed him the book that showed the history of unnatural phenomena that showed up in this world, flipping to a page that clearly showed exactly what he was looking for. “We call these things ‘Ultra Wormholes’. Super rare stuff, but they’re known for randomly appearing in places, sucking things up on one side and bringing them to an entirely different place from the other.”

Ultraman looked at the drawings on the pages, intrigued and amazed. No wonder nothing on Earth was the same, for he was entirely out of his own dimensional realm!

“This explains everything! Strange, though… this was the first sighting of these wormholes in my world. It might mean that they’re getting stronger. If they could even get something like me, then who knows what might be forced through dimensions next!”

The brave hero looked up towards the sky. “It’s settled then. As soon as I find a way back, I must warn everyone back in my world. We can not risk any catastrophe stemming from the multiverse colliding with itself. Any way you may know to close these wormholes would be greatly appreciated-”

Suddenly, a massive roar pierced the heavens, and a great shape came into view. 200 feet of pure, scaly, emerald skin came into view. Keen, yellow eyes watched the seas, darting with the intent to kill, as the famed, Legendary Pokémon tried to find its prey. It was hiding from him, but he was here, his senses did not fail him. And once he finally found his foe, he would make sure his world to be protected once more, and this threat would become nothing but embers.

The Sky High Pokémon, and one of the most feared monsters around. The draconic guardian of the atmosphere: Rayquaza!

******

“R-RAYQUAZA!? But.. Why would he come here!?”

Now everything got more complicated. The sudden appearance of the elemental dragon drove a wedge into whatever plan was being formed. Whoever else was already bewildered by today's events simply didn’t know what to think anymore.

Ultraman, however, stood oddly silent. He knew exactly what it was here for.

“I’ve seen creatures like this before. Rayquaza, was it? He does not appear to be actively malevolent, merely just protecting his territory. And if he senses anything that the Wormholes have dropped in, then he’s perceiving it as a threat, and wants to neutralize it.”

Ash looked at the interdimensional stowaway with slightly widened eyes. “But wouldn’t that mean..”

“Yes, it is me that he wants. I’m afraid that at this point, there is no other choice for me but to fight Rayquaza before he may do something reckless. Hiding from something that has its senses locked onto me at all times is not an option.”

Slowly, the Ultra warrior began to float into the air, ready to take on another monster. Before that though, he had one last thing to say..

“It would be best for you four to get out of here. Please, do whatever you can to prevent any more of these Wormhole disasters while I hold him back. Everything must be done before it is too late!”

Before any of the teenagers could say anything, the Monster Extermination Expert was off, flying at speeds that went to the point he disappeared in an instant. Rayquaza, meanwhile, suddenly stilled, perhaps a sign of him too realizing what was coming his direction.

“Pika pi?” Pikachu patted Ash’s arm, trying to get his master’s attention again. The young boy, shaking off his shock, silently turned to his equally dumbfounded friends before he regained his voice, and a smile formed on his face.

‘Well, you guys heard what he said! We can’t stay here while there’s a fight like this about to go down, but we can still help Ultraman in any way that we can! Come on!”

Simply nodding their heads, Misty and Brock quickly followed behind, leaving the Sky Pillar behind. But not before the latter could look back one last time at whatever battle was about to transpire ahead.

“I sure hope he knows what he’s getting into..”

******

Rayquaza stared down at the miniature figure with fury.

In front of him, only a mere two miles away, the extradimensional threat stood. Even in front of a foe that emitted fantastically strong energy, it stood fearless. Ultraman, even at his smallest size, did not feel the urge to flee. Despite the almost divine energy he felt from the serpent, he was far from the first monster he had faced. His nerves refused to unravel; not even after the emerald beast released a low, wavering growl that he somehow could decipher what it meant.

Stop wasting time, and reveal your true form!

And that was exactly what he did. With a burst of crimson light, and fist raised into the air, Ultraman began to transform. Within mere minutes, he had already become equal to Rayquaza’s height! Quickly getting into a combat position, both heroes got ready to square down.

One of them fought to defend their home of what they thought was an attacker. The other, simply because they needed to get back home as soon as possible. Whatever the case, the idea of this ending peacefully seemed slim to none.

Rayquaza uncoiled, shooting himself up like a springboard, then crying out a mighty roar as he suddenly flew forward with primeval grace. With a simple grunt, Ultraman began to run. Faster and faster he did, until he eventually leapt up, arms in front of him as he glided in the air, the two monsters quickly beginning to close the gap!

And so, it happened. Ultraman and Rayquaza, guardians of entirely different realms, had come into conflict. The fate of their lives, as well as their worlds, hung in the balance in the ultimate clash of titans!

A guy who randomly stumbled upon this place one day, invested much too much time into it, and now appears to be stuck here for all eternity..and strangely enough, i do not regret it!

No disrespect to Ash’s current voice actress…but I totally read this in Veronica Taylor’s voice.

******

Come on!”

Spoiler:
Gamera was lost in rage and couldn’t escape it. His wrathful flames deemed this whole place unworthy, as spheres of mana burned hundreds of acres worth of land, killing any plants and animals in the immediate vicinity. Hundreds of birds took to the skies while other fauna ran as fast as their legs allowed them. But not all of the savage land's inhabitants were inclined to run.

Bursting out from the ground, an old adversary of Kong lunged at the turtle with its serpentine body. The Warbat attempted to constrict around Gamera, only for the chelorian to bite through its skin with his powerful tusks, his jaws throwing the snake to the ground before stomping on its head, sending blood, bone and brain matter flying in every direction. Gamera’s eyes were red with rage as he continued his “righteous” rampage as dozens of Hellhawks emerged from their now destroyed roosts, pecking and clawing at Gamera’s flesh in an attempt to pierce his armored skin. Gamera cried out not in pain, but in rage. How dare these inferior creatures attack him!

Both Kong and Godzilla watched on in silence, both being utterly stunned by the showcase of brutality. Kong, for the first time in a long time, felt a slight sliver of fear. If the reptile was allowed to rampage here, he would do far more damage than Godzilla could. Kong growled, knowing what needed to happen Kong sent a quick roar towards Godzilla, informing the King of Monsters that he was thinking the same thing. Turning towards the ape, Godzilla reluctantly nodded, knowing their fight would continue after the destructive terrapin was dealt with.

I think it's time that this particular matchup finally came into light, and I'm glad to be the one that finally let it happen after so long. Ladies and germs, introducing what just might be the most overdue K.W.C match to date!
Spoiler:
Alexander Island, Antarctica. June 18th, 2018. 1:20 PM

Raymond Burr Senior was never exactly a man many would call “ordinary”.

His knack for constantly throwing himself into danger just to grab himself a news story was certainly a controversial topic when it came to talking about the man. Was he braver than the average journalist, or was he a complete fool? Or perhaps, was he somehow even both? Whatever the thoughts were, all could agree that his determination and lust for life was undeniable. And he sought no other time to prove that like what he was planning on watching today.

The bitter chill of Antarctica would easily drive most people away, but Burr welcomed it with open arms. His light blue coat was tightly buttoned and zippered, and matched nicely with the sweatpants that he also wore for the occasion. The cameras rolled behind him, and recorded the infamous man as he looked outward to the mysterious location not far away. He was invited to it. A place that arguably gave Area 51 and the deepest depths of the ocean a run for their money for when it came to being perhaps the most mysterious places on Earth. And at the same time, however, it was far less famous than either of them.

What exactly was Area G?

Oddly enough, it didn’t even seem like the people that worked there knew. For the longest time, at least since the 50’s, whatever it originally was meant for was completely abandoned. Nowadays, it simply just became another Antarctic research center; a place that only specialized in monitoring climate change, watching the wildlife, and frolicking with the snow. Whatever buried mysteries lay ahead, however, Burr was willing to find out. Besides, it wasn’t like he was alone in doing so.

Joining him, emerging out of the snow that blew with the blizzard’s wind, was one of the people who worked at the station to begin with: Dr. Victor Frankenstein. One of the most famed and finest scientists around.

“Doctor!” Raymond exclaimed, shaking Victor’s hand. "It seems that you're taking care of yourself in this weather."

“You seem to be doing well yourself!” Victor said. “I’ve heard a lot about you, Burr. And I think if there’s anyone that can help us solve the mysteries of this place and show it to the world, it’s you. Come. Me and your crew have a lot to discuss.”

“Alright then. Okay team, let’s move on out!” Raymond and Victor lead the way, as the camera crew also began their march, moving away from the helicopter they came here on, and moving further inland toward Antarctica. Raymond didn’t bring the entire crew with him; and only the members that were essential really needed to come along anyway. The cameramen, the script writers (Raymond was never good at improv), some of his co-stars. Just enough so he could make the broadcasting process as smoothly as possible.

And if the results of this expedition were as grand as he was hoping, it would be one of his greatest broadcasts yet!

******

Area G was a lot bigger on the inside than it was outside.

Though to be fair, that was to be expected when there were massive tunnels that lead to the underground Antarctic ice. From what the researchers could gather, the mysteries of Area G lied deep beneath the surface, and so digging past the tough shells of ice was necessary to, quite literally, get to the bottom of things. They had already gotten a good 100 meters down, but it seemed like there might still be a couple hundred left to go.

In the meantime, however, Raymond decided to stick with Frankenstein. Victor was a man shrouded in an awful lot of mystery, and now was the perfect time to get some answers.

"So Victor, your ancestor was easily one of the most popular scientists around back in the day, correct?" He said. "What do you know about him?"

Victor took a moment to think before speaking. "Well.. As I'm sure you know, I was named after my grandfather. Never got the chance to meet him, I'm afraid. By the time my father had me, they had found that he had committed suicide. Hung himself apparently. During World War Two he was apparently on the verge of a massive scientific breakthrough, but all of his work was turned to cinders the moment the bomb went off in Hiroshima. Nobody believed in his stories, and he has been depressed ever since.”

Raymond suddenly looked rather glum. “Oh.. Well, that was a bit more saddening than I anticipated. What was this “breakthrough'' exactly?”

“Why, it was like something out of a sci-fi movie! He claimed that he stitched the body parts of corpses together, and then used electricity to make it come to life. My father even said he called it his “firstborn son”; named it Frankenstein after himself. Again, no proof that it ever happened means there’s no way what I’m telling you right now is even the truth.”

“Well, if it is the truth, it sounds like your grandfather was a real genius. Heard it didn’t do much good in the relationship between him and Klaus however.”

Frankenstein chuckled a bit. “Yes, my father definitely got sick of him clamoring for something he couldn’t prove after some time. He still loved him though, the old kook. That was the main reason I have his name after all-”

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Suddenly, the doors in front of them blared, lights flashing the moment the two of them got close to it. Victor simply shrugged and walked up to it, typing in a code that Burr couldn’t help but notice that it seemed to be an awfully specific date. 4-24-1955.

“Hey, uh, Frankenstein.. You install that code after a relative’s birthday or something?” He said, to which Victor shook his head “no” in response.

“Nah, that was the code Area G always used! We found it not too long after we first came here, guess whoever was here last left it for us to use. Crazy right? Security codes didn’t really become a thing until recently; these guys were ahead of their time!”

Burr couldn’t help but shudder a little at the thought. “That’s an oddly specific code, don’t you think? You think it might stand for something?”

Frankenstein shrugged. “We tried looking into it, but we couldn’t find any clues. Best we got was that it happened not long before it was originally abandoned, but even that didn’t happen till at least a good month or two later. Hard to say if they’re even connected. Might’ve just been one of the founders’ birthdays, who knows?”

With the door opened, the two men continued on their way, deeper into the caverns of the frozen south, hoping that it would lead them to their quarry.

******

Meanwhile, closer to above the surface, the fellow scientists of Area G continued their own quest, using state-of-the-art drills to burrow their way through the thick ice down below. There were no cameras attached to them, however, so they were monitored via heat signature, in hopes that if it touched something that wasn’t the same temperature of the frozen glaciers, it would mean it had finally hit something important. There were ten of them working in tandem, and all of them played their part. Further and further they dug into the depths, thousands of kilometers deep, where even the furthest reaches Area G itself was built on didn’t outstretch.

Minutes passed. It didn’t seem like they would strike anything in this specific corner of land. Soon, the drills would simply pass through the ice and stop when they reached the open sea. But that was okay. They’d simply try to go to other places they hadn’t tracked down yet, and hope for the best that they could find something there…

…. Until suddenly, all of them hit something, and stopped.

What happened? Did it strike a chunk of ice that wound up being too tough? They looked at the monitors, trying to see what they hit while the drills suddenly began to disappear off the radar; breaking apart at the seams as the unknown force overpowered them.

And unknown indeed, for when they finally got a big reading on the subject, a gigantic, black blob met their gaze..

******

“VICTOR! VICTOR!” Frankenstein could clearly hear over the line. “Scott! What is it?”

“You’d never believe it Victor! The drills, they caught something! We may have finally found what we’re looking for!”

Both Raymond and Frankenstein heard those words as if they struck them with the force of a monster truck. Awestruck, the two men simply turned to each other and smiled from ear to ear. At last, the mysteries of Area G would be unlocked! And they would go down as some of the most well known men of all time..

******

The massive leviathan suddenly felt pricks that darted up and down his back. None of them painful, but powerful enough to be the thing that woke him up out of his multi-decade long slumber. For those brief couple minutes, ruby red eyes fluttered open, barely registering their surroundings, for his memories did it for them.

Almost everything came back. His days as a normal dinosaur, dragged from the brink of death by the painful experience of facing the full brunt of mankind’s most powerful creation. Seeing his brown scales turn charcoal black, and growing an entire second row of sharp teeth while massive dorsal plates sprouted out of his back. And of course, his fight with a fellow colossus. A quadrupedal, carapace-wearing menace who’s fight took them both across the sea, dragging them to this dreadful, chilling land where the same beings that made him this way tossed them both into an icy tomb.

Despite his thoughts clouding his mind, and the intrusive thoughts that followed, he found that his body was simply too numb to act upon any sort of revenge as of now. His eyes once again closed, and his memories, once more, faded into dreams…

******

Now outside of Area G, the team stood in a circle around the strange, massive object that was hidden way down below. Frankenstein was ecstatic. Using a powerful sonar device that he jammed into the satellite dish, he’d use it to bury down into the caverns, getting a reading on this mysterious object, while Raymond could get a chance to broadcast it to the world and have every human being on the planet amazed! As he made sure the device controlling the machines were in working order, Victor gave Burr a nod, a signal that he could finally get the cameras rolling.

“C’mon, c’mon! Get them rolling for me!” Raymond said giddy as his crew turned on their screens. “Are we on? Okay! Good Afternoon to every man, woman and child across the globe! My name is Raymond Burr, and today, we’re here near the elusive Area G. We’re here with the crew who have dedicated their lives into finding the mysteries of this strange place, and today, we are near a breakthrough. Alongside me on this quest, the grandson who shares his famous grandfather’s name: Victor Frankenstein! Victor, would you like to share anything with us before we start?”

“Well Raymond, I’d just like to express how important this day means to us here at Area G!” Victor said. “Ever since we made our first trip to Antarctica and found this place, we know there were a lot of mysteries to unlock, and now, we finally have the chance to do so! Are we ready to do a quick test run of things?”

“I don’t see why not!”

“Well, alrighty then! Before we use it on the tunnels down here, we’re gonna use the sonar on that mountain back there.” Frankenstein pointed to the highest mountain near the team. “If it can launch its radio waves into that, it’ll have no problems tackling what’s below us. Let’s begin!”

A loud BEEP signaled the beginning of things, and the satellite suddenly moved itself, aiming towards the mountain instead of the sky. Not even a minute after that, a loud, warbling sound etched in its direction, causing the hillside to shake as the signal was able to pierce the surface, and dig itself underground.

Unbeknownst to all, it was beginning to hit something much bigger than the mountain itself. A long forgotten beast of old…

******

Golden eyes slowly gained the will to open themselves again, as a massive head slowly rose up, hearing the annoying sound that bugged him. The sound buzzed in his ears like a swarm of wasps, but it did give him the time to reminisce about just how he got heart to begin with.

He wasn’t always as big as he was now. He had left the rest of his kind, no longer wanting anything to do with them, and he marched the Earth in search of a new home. He found an island to rest in, but the strange energy left behind had made his body grow in an almost painful way, but that in itself was nothing compared to the foe that greeted him ten years later. A giant, rage filled lifeform, who spat out an azure beam of fire that turned everything it touched to ash. Small, uniform wearing beings, who controlled bizarre machinery, led them both here to a world that was covered in nothing but snow. Tossed into a mountain, another blast of the strange beam buried him under the mountain, though it apparently wasn’t long before his enemy was covered under the ice himself.

Suddenly, the odd noise stopped, and his head felt clearer. He didn’t feel up to trying to get up and move, however. He’d rest a bit more before trying to explore the land again.

******

Victor seemed pleased with the test results. “Seems like everything is going according to plan! Now, everyone stands back. Once we fire it at the ground, some of the ground might give way.”

Another press of the button, and the dish aimed down. As everyone moved to a safe distance, the noise once again buried itself deep underground, ice cracking and snow vibrating from the sheer frequency of it all. They were expecting whatever it was to be abiotic. Some large architecture by an ancient tribe who lived here eons ago? Perhaps it would prove the existence of extraterrestrial life, and they’d find an alien UFO?

Nobody could have possibly expected what it was to be alive.

******

Yet again, he felt a presence disturb him, and yet again, he was awake. And this time, he refused to go back into the land of dreams. His dorsal fins flickered, a blue light briefly illuminating from them. His eyes glared, hatred firing from his eyes. His arms and legs, which wobbled like jell-o for a brief second, stiffened and he suddenly began to stand. He looked up above him, the ice above him already weakening its grip on the land. His plates illuminated again, as bright as a blue sun. His mouth opened, and a powerful attack was beginning to build up in his throat..

And then, he fired it.

******

BOOM!

Screams echoed out as everyone was blown back by the sudden beam of light, which quickly pierced the heavens and ran up towards the sky. Suddenly cutting off, only then could everyone regain their grounds as smoke slithered out of the caverns below.

“What the hell was THAT!?” Raymond said, looking at Frankenstein as if the scientist had some sort of answer. He had none.

“I.. I don’t know! Whatever it was, the signals did something to it! I think we need to turn them off, we can’t risk something like that happening again-”

Thoom….

Suddenly, there was another sound from down below. As if thunder was echoing from beneath.

THOOM…

It suddenly got louder. Raymond and Victor couldn’t believe what was happening, but the sudden increase in volume told them only one thing..

THOOM..

Whatever it was, it was alive.. And it was climbing up!

CRACK!

With a massive force of power, the ice shattered like glass, and a massive, dinosaurian beast reared its head up. Yellow eyes with red sclera seemed to look at all of them with rage, and two rows of sharp, shark-like teeth bared in front of them as his powerful plates still lit up with atomic energy as he continued to crawl out of the pit. As a powerful roar echoed through his jaws, Frankenstein later said he could only describe the horrifying sound in one way.

SKREEONK!

Hastily, everyone snapped out of their trance as they ran for their lives. As another loud roar echoed out from the massive theropod, a signal that he had finally returned to the land of the awoken, he prepared to take his anger out on humanity once more. Unbeknownst to him, he had also set a signal out for another monster to awaken. None other than an old rival.

******

He heard the familiar roar from a mile away, and he knew it couldn’t be a sign of anything good. His eyes now open and filled with pent up anger, he could already imagine how satisfying it would be once he got this revenge on him, disemboweling the beast and tearing out his throat. Forget his rest! Now was not the time! He got to his legs and rapidly began to rise. It was time to settle this.

******

“THIS WAY!” Victor yelled, trying to get everyone back inside of the facility. He was hoping that the tunnels beneath would give them a place to hide, and possibly escape the wrath of the beast. The dinosaur turned to all of them, watching them flee. It was futile. These creatures were responsible for all the pain he had gone through all those years ago, and he wouldn’t rest. Not until each and every one of them laid dead and their corpses scattered the entire globe. With a smile as he imagined all of the destruction that would follow, he marched forward to all of them, ready to step on them like the insects that they were….

BOOM!

Suddenly, everyone stopped at the sound, almost as if an earthquake had suddenly formed not too far away. Looking at the mountain, they saw what it was. It had exploded! And it wasn’t for no reason in particular.

A familiar roar raced into the massive saurian’s ears, and he grit his teeth as he realized what it was.

None of the humans watching could possibly believe their eyes. Crawling out of where the mountain used to be was another dinosaur! This one was quadrupedal; almost like an armadillo, a crocodile, a hedgehog and an Ankylosaurus had all merged into one form. A massive carapace, packed to the brim with spikes, rested on its back. A crown of horns laid on his head, and a single, short out jutted out of his snout. Its teeth were sharp, jagged and serrated, and began with two large fangs that put those of a tiger to shame. The tail ended at a sharp tip, longer than the rest of the body, and a stark contrast to the much more plain and slightly shorter tail of the bipedal dinosaur in front of them.

The two titans stared at each other. The cat-like ears of the bipedal saurian flickered as a growl left his maw, telling a clear message to his old foe: stand down, or face what would be a certain death. A bassy roar came from the Ankylosaur-like creature however, clearly showing that he was refusing to back down, not even a little. This monster had been a thorn on his side for years, and he wouldn’t let the opportunity to kill him go to waste!

The crew of humans stared at each other, simultaneously horrified and intrigued. None of them knew what was about to happen. They watched as the two dinosaurs circled around each other, like a pair of oversized sumo wrestlers. The only sound out of either of them were otherworldly growls, both planning on settling such a bitter rivalry..

And as they cried out both of their signature roars, they charged!

A guy who randomly stumbled upon this place one day, invested much too much time into it, and now appears to be stuck here for all eternity..and strangely enough, i do not regret it!

Raymond Burr, Victor Frankenstein, Area G?
