I like most of Matt's redesigns, but the super spikey shell meshed with the sharp beak, split jaw and large claws is just too much of a turn off for me.

Gabera w/ a stronger resemblance to toads, specifically w/ beelzebufo ampinga in mind as his ancestry (in accordance w/ my take of the Godzilla series being more speculative evolution based w/ certain animals picked as an ancestor/relative other than the usual norm).

I like the Gabara design, kinda goofy but in a good way.

I'm definitely open to more insectoid Megalon instead of humanoid Megalon after

seeing the spider megalon's in Singular Point.

Overall I like it.

That would be Nise Ultraman, the evil variation. Still, it’s a pretty great redesign of Nise and a good template for a normal Ultraman redesign.

Yeah, thats a great Fake Ultraman redesign. However, Kaiju Remix is (from what I can tell) a licensed Ultraman statue line and there’s a thread in General Toho Films for that purpose.

I can’t post images for some reason, but Matt Frank’s Godzilla Neo always rubbed me wrong. It just doesn’t feel right, and the spines are awkward. Not to mention the overly skinny tail.

Agreed. I don’t like a lot of the old GN stuff, including Godzilla himself

I love the Godzilla Neo designs not because I actually like them, but because they’re good time capsules of how Godzilla and his kaiju compadres were redesigned before Legendary shook up the entire game. They’re also pretty nostalgic.

I actually quite like the kaiju mode too. Looks like something that would be in the Godzilla anime trilogy.

I don't think it's a coincidence at all every new Godzilla in the Neoverse was a subtle redesign of that first one.
