1) “Alt. Take(s) Of Kong - Different Concepts”
These are conceptual sketches of the eighth wonder, Kong. The final idea was of him being nearly completely hairless - bald, if you will. As since his species lived in a tropical, humid, and safe to say, hot environment. I reasoned that hair loss of the giant ape would be a reasonable assumption. Inspirations include: the photo of the Skunk Ape; the yeti from Expedition Everest at Disney World; illustrations of giants/ogres/trolls of folklore; monkey species w/ bald faces; that art piece of a 'realistic' Kong that resembles a paraceratherium; large mammals such as elephants, rhinos, hippos and the aforementioned paraceratherium. In a sense, you could say this is a speculative evolution of Kong. Idk.
2) “Alt. Take(s) Of Kong - Ann Darrow w/ Vitiligo”
One possibility for an alternate Kong adaptation or remake/reboot (we all know there will be more eventually) is Ann possessing vitiligo. My reasonings being that Kong is always drawn to Ann (or her substitute/stand-in character) a majority of the time because she differs from past sacrifices he’s seen mostly because of her fair skin, blondness, or acts differently. In my head I figured, "There are other unique traits humans can have that may intrigue the beast." One of those being the aforementioned vitiligo. For Kong, it may be the equivalent of us spotting an albino animal in the wild. Really eye catching stuff. So, this is just one possible scenario to change things up. Got the idea after watching a review (by BigJackFilms) of the broadway musical which featured a black actress in the role of Ann.
Note, these are two unrelated ideas. Whatcha think?
