Anime is just as popular as the Kaiju genre, if not more so. As such, here is a list of my top 10 favorite anime series thus far.

Here is my thanks to my 500+ subscribers.

My almost spoiler free video review of Civil War. The only spoiler is after the credits, so you can stop there if you haven't seen the movie yet (not that it is that big of a spoiler):

Also trying something new with my Quickie Reviews by not showing any movie footage since Hollywood is getting ridiculous with their copyright claims, so let me know if it worked. This may be the best way for me to do Quickie reviews. Although, I feel like I'm ripping off Jeremy Jahns a little with this one...

Eventually I will have time to get back to Gamera... Damn end of school year.

It's cool. I've been extremely busy these last two months so I haven't really been able to do much in the way of movie reviews. I'm working on Gamera vs Guiron right now though before I start watching Kakuranger.

Added in 9 hours 18 minutes 49 seconds:

My review of the next installment of the Gamera series is finally here. How does Gamera deal with a knife headed monster?

No, I won't. I'd love to go there some day though, but I just can't afford it this year. Summer conventions are a little bit harder to go to unless we plan for it like a year in advanced since I don't get paid during the summer. In fact, I just got my final paycheck until Sept 20th the other day.

This review was quite frustrating to put together because it seemed like everything that could go wrong, did. I had a lot of audio issues, had to reshoot the entire review, and it still ended up being far from perfect. Hopefully the end result was worth it though.

Here at last is the original grand finale to the Showa Gamera series. Is it a worthy "end" to the franchise? Or does it come out a little fishy? Watch to find out.

I'm with ya, I dig Zigra too.

But, this is not time for light-heartedness. Prepare yourself my friend....for the worst...is yet to come.

You thought your journey was over, you thought you faced your demons and became a better man for it, you thought that...you could finally put your past behind you. but....you were wrong. for there is still one more trial left, And this will be the toughest trail to overcome yet. Prepare, for you have not yet reached the end of the showa Gamera films. Prepare, for the greatest horror you will ever face, for if you thought Godzilla's Revenge was bad, just wait until you face.......Gamera: Super Monster!

Stepping away from the Kaiju genre for a moment to take a look at another series of films I adore, Film Noir. Film Noir is a style of film that utilizes lighting and shadow as its story progresses, often at times showcasing the underbelly of humanity. Here is a look at the pinnacle of cinema with the 1944 cinematic masterpiece "Double Indemnity."

After 15 years of freedom, Daiei resurrected Gamera from the dead to terrorize movie viewers once more. Is Guardian of the Universe just another forgettable entry in this Godzilla knock-off of a franchise, or did time finally set this monster straight? Watch to find out.

Daiei and Kaneko were on a role with two phenomenal Gamera movies. They released a third and final movie to the story in 1999, but does it live up to its predecessors? Watch to find out.

Yeah, the plot could get a little convoluted at times, but this was yet another fantastic entry in the holy grail of the Heisei era that is the Heisei Gamera trilogy! I'd have to say that this one would be my personal favorite of the three. Don't get me wrong, I love all three of these films equally, but this one just appeals to me the most. and, well............

Iris is so damn cool!

I love the movie, but I'm starting to think that the second one is indeed the best of the three. There isn't one wasted scene in Legion and it does a wonderful job of making you know that Honami is indeed the central character. This movie couldn't figure out who it wanted the main character to be.

In 2006 Kadokawa Pictures returned the Gamera franchise back to its child friendly roots for its 40th anniversary. Was this move a good idea or should it have followed Kaneko's trilogy? Watch to find out.

Halloween month continues as the heroic super heroes known as the Kamen Riders battle the hordes of the Undead. Does this series shine a light on this undead catastrophe or should it have remained buried? Watch to find out.
