Metroid Prime. It is hands down my favorite game of all time. Everything about it is perfect, even the Chozo Artifact hunt. There is nothing negative I can say on the game.
As for Pokemon games, Platinum. I love Sinnoh, I love Giratina (hence the username) and I LOVE Platinum to death. It does pretty much everything right for a Pokemon game, though the only thing that would make it better would be the infinite use TM's from gen 5. I know Platinum inside and out.
MH, that goes to Tri. It's where I started off with the series, and everything carries weight and gravitas in that game, to make up for the limited monster roster. It's not ball breakingly EVIL like FU and 4U were, or stupidly easy like P3rd and 3U. It's just right, and I love it (Though Alatreon can go burn in a fire)

My favorite game, to this date is still final fantasy 7. I don't want to hear about how overrated it is. I don't care. I genuinely love this game and it's always held a special place in my heart. I now wait with bated breath for the remake. Now the rest in no particular order.

You know I really enjoyed Transformers Devastation. It's not the deepest game but it's just such a blast to play. It's a huge nostalgia trip for a G1 cartoon fan like me.
