Silver Scream
This animated feature stars Millie Bobby Brown as Alice, teenage tagger who gets arrested and is given community service. She isn't thrilled about working at an old folks home until she realizes the residents are the stars of the old sci fi and monster films she and her deceased dad would watch. Mr. Tanner, a developer, then tries to buy the home, saying he wants to build an apartment complex. Actually, he's heard rumors of a treasure under the home, and is eager to find it.

The home, however, has a lack of funds, and they might have to sell if they can't raise some money. Alice suggests a scarathon to raise money, but the retired and aged monsters haven't scared anyone for years and don't know if they even can. As Alice helps the monsters regain their scare power, the monsters teach Alice, who rebels because of grief over her dad, that while the past can comfort us, we must live in the present. Meanwhile, Mr. Tanner's bumbling sidekicks tunnel under the place, but are continually scared off by a mole man. The scarathon raises the needed money, but Mr. Tanner's sidekicks get their hands on the treasure. The treasure turns out to be original film of the resident's movies. The home remains open, and Alice gets a job there.

Julia, a cosmic horror movie based off of the famous Julia sound recording. A group of scientist hear the same sound they had back in 1999, and head off to investigate. What they find though, was certainly no icequake, though it's also quite hard to tell exactly how alive it is...

Godzilla vs Derleth, the latest installment in the Godzilla series, in which Godzilla must face off against a mad scientist named August Derleth. Derleth has wrestled control of Cthulhu away from his former master, H.P Lovecraft, and imbued Cthulhu with G-Cells to transform the abomination into a bona-fida kaiju. Now armed with a hulking beach-bod, immunity to conventional weaponry and the supernatural ability to make any who look upon him go mad, Cthulhu is sent out to destroy the world! Can Godzilla stop the mad Derleth and his unholy bastardization before it's too late?

Propheningans, a Adult Swim dramedy about a questing group of medieval warriors following the same prophecy to defeat the demon lord Nihilazair because they each think it implies to them. The show was a major hit, praised for its vicious lampooning of fantasy tropes (the scene in the pilot where a Goblin calls out the Gung ho hero Douglas Fairus for slaughtering his tribe thinking they're monsters going viral is widely considered to be what brought the show into the limelight) and its tragic moments detailing why so many people would throw their lives away for a chance to be a hero.

Monster Ants: The Return of Them, a quasi-sequel to the 1954 monster movie from 2009. It professes that what really happened was a portal in time opening up and letting giant insects from sometime else entering. When is never established, but its hinted to be the far future hundreds millions of years into it. While the government was able to capture and exterminate them, it focuses on a new outbreak in 2009, which the government cannot cover up and is forced to reveal the truth. It was actually intended to be a pilot to a primeval-style series, but this was never made.

Doppelganger

A teenager is on trial for murder. The teen, Josh, declares it was self defense, and explains via a flashback.

Josh is a rebel and trouble maker, and his parents are worried about him. A mysterious counselor suggests an unusual approach. Josh is sent to a four week program, but escapes after the second week. Back home, Josh finds that he's volunteered for things he never did, done things he can't remember doing, and is liked by his teachers. Josh quickly finds that it's not him, but a copy of him. Josh confronts his parents and the clone, Josh 2, and the parents hope that Josh 2 will rub off on Josh. Josh doesn't like it, but is forced to accept Josh 2's presence.

The final straw comes when Josh 2 makes a move on Josh's girlfriend. Josh begins to worry that this clone is trying to replace him rather than change his behavior. Tensions rise between the two, and conflicts starts to boil over. Finally, Josh decides to kill his clone, and the two fight it out. The clone kills Josh and is arrested. Josh 2 pleads it was his life or death, and the court agrees. Josh 2 returns home and resumes his life.

Who are you?

A contest awards 3 families a chance to visit a tropical paradise. The Trevors, Josens, and Hills arrive to open arms and all the amenities possible, but the young Bryan Trevor thinks the people smell odd. After seeing the island, the elderly Gillian Hill, who has a slight mental disorder, refuses to leave her room, insisting the island is infested with monsters. The next evening, Gillian is found dead, and her body is quickly taken away.

The following day Bryan tells his dad he saw a monster in their room. The father, Ben, tells Bryan it was all a dream. During a guided tour of a trail, they find some beautiful pink flowers near a waterfall. When they point them out to the guide, the guide unexpectedly reacts with disgust and keeps away from them. On the way back to the hotel, they see men with masks and gloves removing the flowers. The Josens also notice unusual behavior and small things among the hotel staff. Later, The Trevors think they see Gillian Hill at a market. They tell the Hills, and when they demand to see Gillian's body, they tell the Hills that it has already been shipped back to the US. Soon after, Hellen Josen's husband goes out, and when he returns, Hellen finds something different about him.

The three families get worried that something is going on. Bryan finds strange tubes filled with liquid in the kitchen, and shows it to the others. Hellen's husband has an instant reaction and begins to drink the liquid. This causes the human appearance to fade and reveal an alien creature. The tourists flee, but are stopped by the staff. They are all aliens, a race called the Zygon, and the tourists have been invited to their colony as a test to see if they could pass for human. The tourists are held prisoners in their rooms, but are able to escape thanks to Hellen's sacrifice. The tourists flee into the jungle.

The Zygons hunt them down with armed drones, and soon, only Ben and Bryan are left alive. They find an area with the pink flowers. Bryan remains there, and Ben goes back into town to somehow communicate with the outside. Ben is chased, but finds a computer he can use. He manages to send a message. He and Bryan then use the night to try and sneak off in a boat. At the port, they see a crowd of Zygons boarding a ship. They set fire to the ship, but then witness two more ships, heading in opposite directions, have already left. Ben realizes they were too late.

Supes and Robbers- Smash'N'Grab is a looseknit group of undesirable characters who steal from the rich to give to the poor (and themselves, of course.) There's Ape, a Chinese circus strongman with a totem that allows him to become a gorilla. Typewriter aka T.W. (voiced and mocapped by Tommy Wiseau) who has the ability to manipulate probability, resulting in crazy trickshots with Tommy guns. La Fantôme, an American ex-pat who fled the country because of the way they treat African Americans but returned to take care of her ailing mother, can become vapor and posses enemies, and uses her trusty rapier for combat. They're led by Rubber Ruthie, an elastic, charismatic bombastic criminal genius, always planning the heists to a T.

They're pursued by Sgt. Sentinel and his Rangers, vets of the Great War. The Sarge is allegedly of the same bloodline as Thor, Norse god of thunder, being able to fly and juice his strength with electricity. Ostensibly a symbol of American freedom in an age where it's giving way to poverty and war, who gives good work giving down and out vets the chance to "help the community," you don't have to go too far below the surface to find misogyny and bigotry, as well as dreams of dominance for the world. Sarge works with the corrupt Dusk City PD to try and squash the Smash'N'Grabbers because they actually give back to those who have not.

When the Smash'N'Grabbers find the heat getting too intense, Rubber Ruthie comes with one last job: the fabled Maltese Phoenix, a giant sculpture of a phoenix rising from the ashes, made with a laundry list of precious metals and jewels, is being kept in the Eisner Building, the hub of Dusk City's corrupt political empire.

Players step into the trenchcoats of one of the four characters, or join forces as up to all four to put the power and wealth back in the hands of the people one last time, before going their own way into the sunset... Provided they can pull it off AND deal with Sgt. Sentinel and his Rangers that is! Sneaking, smashing, shooting, stretching, stabbing and more!

Continuing the superhero theme:
"A rough and tumble, grim and gritty pouched up 90s type superhero gets sent back to the '40s. He has to team up with an old school Shadow or Spirit type masked avenger to solve the mystery of why he (or she or they) was sent back in time."

The Leopard: Turn back the clock

The Leopard, aka Susan Heywood, is pursuing gun runners supplying gangs with guns, when the gunrunners have taken her lover, Paul. Susan finds their hideout and does battle with the criminals. The leader, Manchez, is about to kill Paul, and Susan rushes to save him. However, before she can, reality shifts and changes around her, and she watches as Paul is shot and killed moments before she appears in another place. Susan sees old cars and styles of dress, and then looks at a newspaper. She sees a headline about the Gray Ghost, but is more interested in the date; 1944.

Susan does her best to fit in and find out how and why she was drawn back in time, and if there's a way to get back. She briefly meets the Gray Ghost as she fights some criminals, but loses track of him. Later, she uses some of her modern equipment to locate him. It turns out that a criminal organization known as the Black Triad, led by a Mr. Hand, has kidnapped a physicist named Dr. Reagus, who is rumored to be studying time travel. Susan joins the Ghost as they deal with Mr. Hand's henchmen, as Susan hopes Dr. Reagus might have the answers she seeks and allow her to save Paul. Susan and the Ghost bond over the fact they've both lost those they cared about, and nearly have a romantic moment. Both decide it's a bad idea.

A lead brings the heroic pair to City Tower, and a meeting with Mr. Hand. Mr. Hand, who's dying of a disease that gives him a lethal touch, is the one who brought Susan to the past. Mr. Hand tells them his real name is Heywood, one of Susan's ancestors. His son has inherited his condition, and he wishes Susan to procreate with his son, hoping her healthy genes will remove this disease from their side of the family. He threatens to touch the Ghost if she refuses. Susan is taken to the lab for sperm implantation, but convinces Dr. Reagus to help her and the Ghost. The pair defeat Mr. Hand, and then Dr. Reagus sends Susan back to her own time. She is able to save Paul.

Queen's Blade

This role playing game has you play as a soldier or scout ant that wields a magic sword. The colony has grown too large, and must find a new home. You find the sword among some bones, and use it to clear obstacles, defend against predators, deal with a pesky exterminator, and whatever other uses you can think of. Creative use of the sword brings points that open up increasing levels of magic. However, this blade is sought after by Tellus, a dark being that wants the sword's power for himself. You must face, and win, against natural and supernatural forces if the colony is to survive.

Medusa: A Truth Revaled was another big mockumentary created by the same people that maid "Megalodon: The Monster Shark Lives".. and was just as poorly received. Apparently, all physical copies were destroyed before they could even release.

Cynic-Mas, the most ambitious Christmas special of all time. When Santa is put out of commission a month before Christmas, Scrooge and The Grinch take up the mantle in his place due to their newfound spirit, only to clash over how to get ready (Grinch gets too busy building gadgets and toys while Scrooge tries to keep up spirits). Eventually, the two make up in time for the holiday but not before we get a surprise third subversive holiday icon cameo: Jack Skellington, who's love for the holiday helps the two put their differences aside.

While a failure for the company who made it, it became a classic for those who binge such specials over the holidays.

An animated series from Netflix that follows the exploits of Greg O' Brien, a 16-year-old whose grades are slipping and is living an unproductive life much to his single father's frustration. That all starts to change though when the latter buys a European, antique mirror that transports the former to a middle-earth type of fantasy world. There, he gains supernatural fighting abilities as he travels to the only area containing the gateway back to his dimension. And along the way, he (in addition to revaluating his current life decisions back home) makes new friends (including a bronze scaled dragon) and enemies and finds a girlfriend in the form of a beautiful succubus-like demoness (in terms of appearance, think Lilim from 'Monster Rancher'). With his new abilities and friends/shonen style team, Greg above all must stop a tyrannical king (who has among other resources, an army of man-eating giants at his disposal) from conquering his home dimension.
