I remember people talking about superhero fatigue when
Dr. Strange was about to be released...and nothing has

Must admit trailer looks more engaging then Homecoming was. I think this will be an even better movie. Not to say I didn't hate Homecoming because I didn't. I just liked it.

Spoiler:
Assuming Tony dies in Endgame I'm surprised Peter isn't more down. You'd think he'd still be over the loss of the closest father he had.

And I'm thinking he's dead because we see Happy yet no Tony.

I wouldn't trust a single thing you see in this trailer in relation to

Endgame and it's characters

Maybe it's just a bad trailer, or it could be the fact that it's a big scale, globe trotting adventure. Which seems to be what all of films are going to be this year. Like the new Hellboy and NON films. Not everything has to be on that scale.

Saying that, I think fatigue is setting in for me. Infinity War was good, Ant-man and the Wasp was fun and Black Panther sucked. That's what I felt like with the ones from last year. The trailers for all the new Marvel ones have left me underwhelmed and not uninterested in see them, except Captain Marvel i don't think I'll see that one.

But, Shazam looks like really fun. So I might need to take a break from Marvel.

Eh, looks 100x better than Homecoming, which was 100x better than the ASM2.

There's already memes of Bruce Campell being Mysterio

So if I’m doing my math right, that’s what, about 50,000x better that SM2?

Real shit I talked to a guy at a movie theater before seeing Spider-Verse and he said ASM2 was his favorite Spider-Man film and I almost threw up.

Trailer looks good. But I'm still peeved about "MJ" not really being Mary Jane Watson. And about Aunt May knowing Peter is Spider-Man. Never understood why so many people wanted to see that. But I guess they're getting their wish. Wish they wouldn't deviate so far from the classics with it.

Rest of it has me excited.

Don't know how i didn't realize this right away, but... Mysterio plus the Elementals, which are a whole team of baddies?

Multiple villains. The Spider-Man movie curse strikes again. Let's hope they can actually break the curse and pull it off this time, if that indeed is what's happening.

I mean I guess you could argue Spider-Verse pulled it off, but I'd argue those villains were functionally just henchman for Kingpin.

That's a fair point my Canadian friend...but hopefully the screenplay/script
will be structured in a way that it doesn't become an absolute mess.

Honestly...after watching the trailer a few more times...I'm actually
hyped more for Mysterio & the Elementals than Spider-Man himself.

So, has it ever actually been said that this actually takes place AFTER Infinity War...? I mean, could it maybe take place BEFORE it...? ;) I mean, we do see the regular Spiderman suit Tony gives him in Civil War, but not the Iron Spider suit.

I thought Feige said it did, but I don't have a source on hand.
