I accidentally submitted my rough draft of a writing assignment before I got a chance to clean it up. Fortunately the teacher didn't seem to mind so much and the assignment isn't crucial, but still, I could have done better.

I dedicated a few hours this weekend to getting ahead on work so that I wouldn't have too hectic a day today.
Well, it's a good thing I spent that time, I guess, because even having done that... well, I'm still working an hour and fifteen minutes after I should have been wrapped for the day, and I'm got another half hour to go, easy.
My bosses know that they can count on my to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, so other projects get a ton of staff thrown at them when necessary, and for me it's like pulling teeth trying to get any kind of support team.
But, Jesus, even when I go out of my way to get well ahead on my work, there is still just way too much thrown at me most days for me to manage it all without it ruining my whole night.
