My pet dog, Chewy, had just passed away. We had him over a decade and always lifted our spirits. But he wasn't feeling so well for the past half year, and now he's gone. He died in our house with my mom by his side. My whole family is morning right now. This is going to be one long and awful night for us.

My mom is still taking his death very hard. I don't blame her. She was Chewy's favorite person to be with. I called my sister and half-brother and told them the sad news. My brother did visit our house last week to watch the NFL game. That was the first time he saw Chewy in, I think, four years. So it's a good thing that he came here to see him one last time six days before he died. The saddest part is that the last thing my brother said to him was "I'll see you later", thinking that he was going to see Chewy again soon, but that obviously won't happen.

I'm just glad that he died naturally; with death taking him away instead of taking him to the vet and have them inject deathly liquid or whatever inside his body. We are going to miss him so much and remember the fond memories of him.

Having to make my father who had to use the restroom wait almost 30 minutes for me to finally leave our local Vons store because I had to wait for it to be my turn at the deli so that I can waste $5.67 on their mac and cheese only for me to finally eat and realize that it taste like cheap processed sh!t.
