A guy who randomly stumbled upon this place one day, invested much too much time into it, and now appears to be stuck here for all eternity..and strangely enough, i do not regret it!

Atlas Pro is a pretty cool geography channel. Here's one of his videos about what are basically real-life Atlantises:

Videos like this need to be put in front of every world leader every day. Our national borders are absolutely meaningless to animals that migrate across them. You destroy the habitat of a given bird species in one nation, suddenly any number of other nations lose that bird as well. Whether we humans like each other or not, conservation of nature absolutely must be a concerted global effort. It can't not be, or it isn't possible.

Seems space, at least parts of it, is not as much a vacuum as we originally thought. Parts of it are surprisingly dense with particles.

So I just went on Wikipedia and looked up the list of deer species (List of Cervids, the page is titled) because I do things like that for fun. Just wanted to see how many there are. I expected to be disappointed and only find a handful I hadn't heard of, but, uh, yeah. I was aware of less than half of them. Heck, there were whole families I didn't know. I've been learning about animals all my life, and sometimes I start to think I know anything at all. It's always nice to be smacked back down into my place.

Crocodile grabs and kills Cheetah.

I am always in awe at the speed and power of these animals especially after working and living with them first hand.
