Quite the contrary. The release of death means she won’t have to put up with our society’ bullshittery anymore.

Yes, I'm sure the woman whose fancy hat is worth more money than I'll ever make in my entire lifetime had such a difficult time in today's society.

She doesn’t have to see Star Wars and the MCU continue to rot any further.

Oh have a joke, man.

I personally find the notion of monarchy questionable myself. Monty Python couldn't have said it better. It does little more than perpetuate the economic and social differences in our society.

To be fair, the monarchy actually brings in more money than they take. Tourism and such brings in the moolah.

They only bring in money by making the country look fancy. You don't suppose that France would draw in more money if it still had a monarchy do you?

No, because that’s a false equivalence.

British Monarchy has become commercialised. A more apt comparison would be megastars like MJ and Elvis, but if they had power (if minimal at that). British monarchy is largely a non-factor.

The French Monarchy was a tyrannical institution that had absolute control. As Louis XIV said “I am the state.” It doesn’t sound very appealing for tourism, huh?

^And what if France turned its monarchy constitutional instead of getting rid of it?

Yeah, it came up in a text thread among some fellow film geeks, and we were all surprised to realize he was still alive!

This really surprised me when I first learned about it. I didn't know much about the dude, but I'd thought he was doing fine. Rest in peace.

Godzilla has a regen like Wolverine, a skin like Luke Cage, a hero aura like Captain America, a strength like Hulk, an unstoppability like Juggernaut, an immortality like Deadpool.

There's a 'God' in Godzilla for a reason...
