Oh man, I always LOVED the original paint job! That paint scheme actually IS based off of a few pics of the modified Manda prop from 1968, just with the colors enhanced a little bit. I remember finally owning it way back in like, 2013, and then of course since I was still an irresponsible teenager, my dog got to it; I never found it again lol. Nowadays you can only find it online for like, over $200. If anybody has the original version and is looking to sell it, hit me up!

Kinda surprised he’s re-releasing Manda for the second time though. What’s happened with Showa Rodan and Rose Biollante?

Bandai Museum did the Yog trio back in the day. They're really expensive now though.

You have no idea what I would do for a good 6 inch vinyl Anguirus 55 and Varan 58.

Does Y-MSF respond to fans on any social media? If so, can someone ask them whatever happened to Biollante Rose and Rodan 1964?

No joke, those two were probably the figures I wanted most out of all their unreleased prototypes, so I was ecstatic when they revealed plans to actually release them... in 2019. I don't know if I've heard anything since.

Yes they communicate on Facebook. Just go on and ask. I think he is working on the 89 Godzilla maybe? He just showed a proto of that recently I think.

He's also on instagram @ymsf3, he sells a lot of his figures directly from his profile, including a fantastic-looking deep blue Ebirah. Everything is listed for 6,000 yen (~$60). This includes:

. Ebirah (Standard/Deep Blue/Retro [Marusan color scheme]/Light Blue) (Both available in either A or B styles. A-Type = tail facing upwards; B-Type = tail laying flat)
. Varan
. Rodan 1956
. Gabara
. Sanda
. Gaira
. Manda (New green color scheme, I miss those beautiful red hues on the original version though!)
. Kumonga (listed for $70 instead, most likely due to high demand)
. King Kong 1962/1967
. Hedorah (Blue color scheme)
. Mechani-Kong

https://www.instagram.com/ymsf3/

As for G'89, he last posted a photo of it on October 2nd, stating that he's hoping to start selling it next year.

It's one guy that sculpts these right? I wonder how he gets them licensed, if they are.

I don't have any social media accounts, so if someone can ask him the status of Rodan '64 and Biollante Rose, I would appreciate it!

I also didn't realize he was reissuing figures. I already have most, but it's good to know he's at least putting more of them out there. Eventually I might finally grab that Varan, but it's not priority.

Looking at the Instagram page, it's always frustrating to see figures we can't own, but they're still really cool to look at since this guy mostly does these as a hobby from what I gather. I'm surprised to see the Atami Castle again; while I'd certainly prefer other monsters first, I actually think that'd be a pretty cool release!

So, resurrecting this thread with some worthwhile news. Can't say I've been keeping up with much about this line, as I don't think there's been much outside of the usual shenanigans of new prototypes whatnot, but it looks like Y-MSF has finally released - yes, released - a few new figures. Mini figures, but still. First ones since Ebirah as far as I am aware.

Varan already sold out apparently but I hope he restocks them. Would love to grab both, particularly the condor.
