Not necessarily. Sometimes Walmart places blind box toys near the registers next to the trading cards. If they're not in the toy aisle, check there.
Ah, I know exactly where you’re talking about.

I’m not exactly looking for these guys as I don’t like to collect smaller figures but I’m over at Walmart almost every other day, I’ll certainly check and let you guys know next time I’m over there.

Apparently someone on Facebook found some of the minis at Walgreen's, so you can try there.

Has anyone else found any mini figures anywhere? I went to nearby Walgreens and haven't seen any.

I have checked Target, Walmarts, Barnes and Noble, Rite Aids and Walgreens and haven't seen them any of these places.

Ahh, thanks! That wasn't showing on the Twitter link. Godzilla looks a bit different than he normally does for it to be 2004.... is it a new sculpt?

It looks like a heavily altered version of the original 12" G2004.

Kong Skull Island is going right on my shelf. Can always use another Kong figure.

I hope they make a 6 inch version. I'm really liking the sculpt, but I don't usually collect larger scale figures for space reasons.

I mean, going off the boxes, they look like 12" figures. Could be my eyes playing tricks on me, though.

This is hysterical. All these high-end collector lines that make all kinds of new figures on at least a semi-regular basis, SHMA, NECA, X-Plus, even Bandai Japan, none of them are touching Monsterverse Kong. And now Bandai Creations, famous for not putting out a single new figure in like a fucking decade, is the one to make a move. We live in stupid times.

I'm not complaining, mind you. I'm almost certainly buying this thing.

I'm glad I can start having a "bandai Kong Collection". Can't wait to have it with my Legendary Goji's, my Mechani Kong and my Kong 93.

Also, is anyone going to comment on
Spoiler:
Destroyah?
