Strangely they're only 1000 yen (if the blurb on the right that's partially obscured is correct), or 10USD. I suppose that makes sense if they're just big "gashapon-like" assembly kits.

Gashapon of Godzilla and Ghidorah are out. There are 2 other versions a clear red version of Godzilla and a clear yellow of Ghidorah.

I tried posting pictures here but it keeps saying url link that are external to this domain.

A HB Godzilla has to be approved by Toho doesn't it? I remember NECA saying back in tje day that Toho wouldn't allow it. So now they have? Strange.

Why post that ancient tweet and not the new stuff?

I really like this Hanna-Barbera Godzilla, and I'm glad its a decent size (though 6" would have been preferable) but Mondo's stuff is usually crazy overpriced. I also hope its easier to get than some of their exclusives that sell out in minutes. Still, this "Godzilla Museum" line has potential, the Godzilla 1954 looks great too. I'm curious as to what they'll do next.

And crazy hard to get. I had those cherry blossom figures in my cart yesterday and they were sold out in not even a minute.

That's not exclusive to Mondo. That's how shit like that goes when they drop. They sell out in seconds.

Mondo is typical of "art toy" and "urban vinyl" brands. They tend to sell out quickly. The urban vinyl community is a totally different beast, often willing to pay thousands of dollars for art toys. I respect it.

These were already posted in the SHMA by accident, but Art Spirits has unveiled what appears to be their next "trading figure" set. Surprisingly, its not a Godzilla vs. Kong set, but a Singular Point set. But as with the KOTM set, they look absolutely stunning for what I'm assuming are roughly 3.5" scale figures.

Not going to lie, I'm a little disappointed in the selection here since Bandai already covered all these guys, and I'm just not a big fan of Godzilla's alternate forms in general. Salunga, a Rodan, and Manda or Kumonga would've made for a positively perfect set. But who am I kidding, I'm almost certainly going to get this set anyway. ;)

Ooh, those are perfect for KWC renders.

I have no idea why that's the first thing that came to mind but... yeah.

That Varan one looks really cool. Why couldn't the Bandai look like that?

Somebody finally took a picture of the info card for that SP set.

A sizeable price jump from the KOTM set. However, these definitely seem to be more detailed, not to mention one of the KOTM figures was a repaint while all six of these are unique characters. Larger characters, too. I don't know, might see if I can get them separately, I at least need Anguirus and Jet Jaguar.

(Also that Sevenger is adorable. <3 )

Honestly, I was going to buy them until you mentioned they were 3.5 inch scale. That blows man. A six inch or 8 inch version of that ultima would be sick

Is it possible to buy the new Art Spirits figures individually? If so, where does one buy them from?

They're supposed to be available individually - but so was the KOTM set, which, for whatever reason, was only ever sold as a set from online retailers as far as I know. Too early to say.

On an unrelated note, there's, uh, this -

Those Japanese certainly get creative with some of this stuff, I'll tell you.
