Images of both figures look like they've been put through a Prisma filter. They have a weird polygonal appearance to them.

Photo. Kong looks pretty good in the stock photos, though I'm not so sure about that roaring head. Been wanting to see how it holds up outside of stock photos, but can't make out shit with this tiny pic. Hopefully others will snap some pics.

Had a thought when messing with my monster shelf the other night. I like how Biollante has the light effect in the core, and it encourages me to keep the Musical Godzilla despite any scale issues. It has the lights in the fins, and its source was the suit that also had that feature for the first time. Having both my monster toys have the same light features as the suits is interesting to me.

I am surprised Monsterarts hasn't had more light-up features in the line.

The KKK Godzilla wasn't a hot seller. It warmed on the internet for months so my guess is they probably didn't think others would sell? There was a Shin KKK proto shown but then poof it banished like a fart in the wind.

I would have made that my first Shin Godzilla toy if it had the Atomic Ray song. I thought at first the Heat Ray Godzilla was light-up but I found out it was just the paintjob and lighting effects in the promo pics.

There's almost nothing that proves it's a new mold besides your word. The articulation is the same, the face is the same (put next to burning G), literally everything is the same besides the new molded hands. They didn't use an 'updated model from GVK' for this, it's a rerelease with blue atomic paint. The mold is just showing degradation at this point.

Given his word is backed up by official Tamashii material, yes, yes he is.

It looks 1:1 because there's such little difference between 2019 and 2021. That doesn't mean it can't be a new model that's basically identical.

and trust me, I'm not implying it's a GOOD choice either.
