Most releases at the end of the year get delayed because of the holiday backup, unless you import it yourself.

Well, with the holiday season coming up, trying to get that Criterion Collection for the current price, and seeing if ghidorah gets hit with any kind of sale, I'd be happy if this got held up a bit.

Not sure if you've been looking around, but it's largely sold out from retailers that would put it on sale. Sold out on Amazon, Eknightmedia, Entertainment Earth, Gamestop, Barnes & Noble, and Toyz in The Box. I've never seen BBTS throw a good sale for SHMA unless it's warming shelves *cough* Gamera 3*cough* Frozen Godzilla.

My point is, the figure itself isn't going to be around long enough for a sale.

SHMA never go on sale unless they're wholly undesirable figures and even then it's not a steep discount. Ghidorah's a one-of-a-kind, the only super-articulated version of the character available on the market. If it's not already gone, it will be far before it ever went on sale. If you haven't gotten it by now, you probably never will.

All I’m asking for is shma to release a new Godzilla with the blue atomic beam effect that the very first one had.

I'd have to dig the box out of the closet and check but I thought the new shma Godzilla kotm 'did' come with a blue atomic beam effect

I think he’s referring to the Original blue Heisei beam, the one that can essentially be used with any figure and look fine. The 2019 beam looks out of place with its thin and fiery look when used with most other Godzillas. Seeing as that blue Heisei beam only got one release. It would be nice to see it officially released again

I’m thinking about picking up some custom atomic beams I saw on ebay. But yeah, that one release is the only one to contain the blue atomic beam effect. I have some of the others but not that one. I hope that the next time they release a Godzilla, (another heisei, showa or millennium) that it will come with a blue atomic beam. Unless they make a G2K figure.

It's almost guaranteed. I think maybe out of ten I've seen only one had correct eyes and even then it wasn't exact.

Since they're basically the same price on the aftermarket now, there's no reason to get it over the original unless you prefer the Ultimate's smoke effects, glossy finish, and orange tail spines.

Guaranteed that I will get a wonky eyed one is not a good sign. I want and like the effects, glossy finish, and orange spines.
How are the eyes of the regular burning version? I guess I could paint the spines orange and glossy finish, I just wouldn't have the effect parts.

Pretty sure the original's eyes are less wonky but don't quote me on that.

I wouldn't recommend trying to add a glossy look to the original figure, that would probably just ruin it.

Well, I think I'm a lucky dog then. The eyes on my Ultimate Burning G'95 are perfectly straight forward. Like among the best looking eyes out of all of my MonsterArts Godzillas.

You might as well go ahead and grab one off of bbts or find one at Barnes & nobles. There’s always the chance that they’ll re-release it with new paint apps and accessories but for right now, it’s the only super articulated 6 inch monsterverse Ghidorah on the market. Neca will never make one.

That's one pretty box. Different to what I was expecting.
