Other than the eye paint, my only issue with the ‘89 is that it can’t ship fast enough.

Got Shin and G95 from Target, and a new shelf to put them on.

How the fuck did anyone figure out the backdrop for the "poster" Godzilla? I think mine was made wrong......

EDIT: It's definitely different than the initial release but I got it standing lol

So does the reissue of shin has better paint job than the original?

I think it's the same exact figure.

Might vary by copy but my version has little to no green wash on it.

My NECA Showa Godzilla collection is almost complete. Only need to make one more then I’ll have a representation of every suit (not counting variations) Image

I've seen it. A "bolder" paint job, I'd say...

Why are you not working for NECA? I'd buy the fuck outta those other suits.

Well, I assume it's a licensing issue for NECA. It's probably difficult to acquire licenses for certain designs, hence why NECA generally hasn't been able to produce any figures of suits that Tamashii Nations hasn't already done (closest thing being 2003, which is technically just 2002 with a scar).

Edit to save posts: Does anyone know how to find the reissue of the '95? I missed the original and plan to rectify that soon, but I'm worried that all of the Amazon listings will be for the original release, as NECA doesn't distinguish the two there.

I have no idea what your online options are, but I've seen several at brick and mortar Targets.

NECA did an ‘84 (and they are reissuing it with upgraded details)

Opened my 62 figure yesterday, the hip joints are a mystery to me and they really hinder the figure in the way of posing. Neca might be doing better sculpt wise but the articulation is poo

Ah, dammit. Forgot about the '84. But then that was early in their line, and I never see much about it anymore, so...

Man, I just rewatched Godzilla vs. Biollante, and I like the '89 figure even more. I just hope they fix the eye color, before the figure releases.

The NECA calendar refers to this month's '84 release as a "restock": http://necaonline.com/events/

...and it links back to their original listing for this figure. So is this the boxed version with the retooled dorsal plates, or are they just reissuing the original version? I can't imagine it's the former - we haven't seen those clamshell packages in almost a year now.

So, my Mothra's wings are pretty loose now. Any idea of how to tighten them up? I've seen people drop a little bit of superglue in the joints, and them move them until it hardens, but I'm really really worried about doing that.
