Super excited about this guy. One of my absolute favorite Godzilla suits and this is the first collectible I’ve seen that actually looks spot on to the suit. And thanks for the heads up about the RIC site! While he’s still expensive, ordering direct from the manufacturer easily saved me at least $40 over using a middleman like I thought I’d have to.

Wasn't the Gigantic '89 supposed to release in March... looks like it's pushed back to April, making a busy month for X-Plus... DefoReals Zilla and Hedorah, Sakai 30cm KiryuGoji, the Gigantic '89 and the Art Spirits Shin re-issue all in April...

Yes it as pushed back. X Plus has been doing this a lot lately. NECA Jr.

The Prime 1 Gamera 99 was also pushed back several times. My last payment was supposed to be Jan 15. Now its April 15. With the chance of another delay.

Thanks. I was looking at the Hobby Search release date schedule and noticed the '89 was gone from the list and was like "it was here a minute ago!"

In Japan, through P-Bandai it's $70. A lot of Western fans don't have access to be able to get stuff from the Japan side of the P-Bandai site, so we're beholden to the resellers stateside.

As someone that collects select DefoReals and has been waiting for this variation of the Shin as my only DefoReal Shin, I'm not exactly pleased with the price, but I AM pleased that I was able to get a hold of the figure at all... but I'm definitely not as pissed as perhaps say, an SHMA Gamera collector about now, for example.

When is Amiami supposed to start shipping orders for the Gigantic 89? I decided to pre-order one at the last minute but I'm leaving for Alaska in early May to start a seasonal job. I just hope he wont show up after i leave. I won't be coming home till October

It was delayed till April with no specific date given. Hopefully it doesn't get delayed again so you miss it.

Frozen Shin will probably be my first DefoReal figure I buy unless I get 1984 first. I'm not big on them, but I do like the frozen Shin and 84, so my curiosity is peaked. Also it's finally April which means Godzilla 2002 will hopefully be shipping soon. I can't wait to add him next to my Gigantic 1999 and the Yuji Sakai 1992. I'm looking forward to everything else X-Plus has in store for this year. I'm hoping they'll announce a Yuji Sakai Burning Godzilla or 1984 at some point in the future.
