It almost feels wrong that we're getting this even though we never got a proper Varan from Bandai. But what can you do?
Looks like my ballsack.
I suggest you see a doctor immediately. I think you might have a tumor.

Also what's with all the different names? Why not just call it its namesake?

Looks cool, and it’ll be a nice addition to the collection. However, let’s be careful in not discussing SP spoilers in this thread please!

For those curious, that figure will be released on May 18th!

That's direct from the source and they don't ship outside of Japan. I wouldn't worry about it lol.

Just wait for the import stores and whatnot.

Manda and Angurius SP just arrived. Damn, Angurius is fantastic and I recommend it heavily. It’s got a lot of spikes and detail, and is really accurate to it’s on screen appearance. Great figure.

Also, I expected Manda to be a lump of plastic, and it sort of is, but it’s sepetated into four sections that you can rotate around giving it some pose-ability.

So I don't know if this belongs in the Ultra Thread since they're all Ultra monsters, or here in the Bandai Japan thread since they're Bandai Japan figures. But for the past 2 weeks I've been on a hunt for the nostalgic bandai vinyl figures I used to think I'd never get my hands on growing up. Godzilla-wise it was the Bandai Japan metallic King Caesar, but Ultra-wise? Well, pictures speak louder than words. It was kind of a game to see how many classic scale Ultra monsters I could find for under $30. But now that I'm fresh outta funds for the month I figured I'd show you guys the new Ultra collection.

(If this belongs in the Ultra thread I'll move it over there unless a mod does first)

^ Nice collection! I'll always prefer the original 6" vinyls to the Ultra 500 line, though the latter series is still cool in its own right.

Anyways, I finally nabbed Kong and SP Jet Jaguar. Don't have much to add that hasn't been said but they do indeed live up to the hype! :D My JJ had quite a few paint flecks all over the body though, but thankfully, I was able to remove most with an eraser. Body's a tad warped too, gonna have to see what I can do to fix it.

Fun fact! This is not the first Jet Jaguar that Bandai has based on a TV show, but rather the third after they released two that appeared in 1997's Godzilla Island. I'm grateful to have every version of one of my favorite Godzilla characters! I am also hoping that Bandai can surprise us with a figure of JJ's final look in the series with the good legs and new chest. Only problem is that they'd probably have to start from scratch though, as putting new legs on the current body mold would probably make him 9"-10" tall, which is a bit too tall for this line...

Oh yeah, I was bit surprised about the gimmick when I received the sofubi because I never expected such things.

You live in Japan right? How have the sales been? It seems like anything Bandai has put out this year seems to sellout super quickly.

Looks like the Singular Pointe figures are a big hit.
