Thanks! The new tail discovery was what inspired me when I find out about it a few weeks ago. I'm back in business! Turns out the reason my printer didn't work was because of a single loose screw. Found this out a few days ago after I bought and replaced a ton of stuff trying to fix it.

There's some good alliteration there lol. I'm in the process of printing his figure, and I made a promise to myself that he'd have a name by the time I finish the figure and post it on Instagram/here/wherever I post him first.master_of_monsters wrote:Temporox the time stopperDirektorSplennic wrote:Did some "scientifically accurate" dinosaurs (Brachiosaurus could have some added fluff but I still want it to look like what people would think as Brachiosaurus) and an as of yet unnamed original kaiju. Yeah the tip of his tail touches the ground. Wish I got the whole thing in the shot since the tail pose looks cool.Monarchverse wrote:Good lord, that's immaculate!DirektorSplennic wrote:

Re: Custom Action Figures Thread
Due to 3D models becoming the big hype in the general figure community, and as a fellow creative, i'll be hopping on board the 3D printing boat by the end of this year. I was wondering what programs you guys use, and is it easy sculpting small details in said programs? Any advice will be incredibly helpful!
Figured, as cool as clay sculpting is, 3D prints seem to be a more efficient way of getting quality product out there.

I use Blender and plan to move to zbrush. I plan to do this professionally later in life, so zbrush is essential to learn._JNavs_ wrote:Due to 3D models becoming the big hype in the general figure community, and as a fellow creative, i'll be hopping on board the 3D printing boat by the end of this year. I’m not awesome enough to have made them myself but my kids have custom LEGO minifigs of Godzilla, MechaGodzilla, and Ultraman. I think my wife found them on Etsy. I remember her showing me a HUGE library of custom minifigs for sale.
