My top times for adventure mode are 9:34 with Mechagodzilla AND Orga on easy and 9:37 with Orga on Medium.

Re: Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee (Gamecube/Xbox)
I thought the game was pretty fun. While the roster isn't something to write home about, the controls are probably the best out of the three Atari games. I haven't played the X-Box and will probably never touch an X-Box period but the GameCube version is just my cup of tea of having fun but having a little difficulty as well. The cheat codes, in my opinion, were the absolute best thing of the game.
Now I'm gonna go to rankings. This based on how I played:
S Rank: MechaGodzilla 2 | Kiryu | Orga
A Rank: Godzilla 2000 | Godzilla 1990s | King Ghidorah | Mecha-King Ghidorah
B Rank: Megalon | Rodan
C Rank: Gigan | Destoroyah | Angurius
Again, based on personal experience.
So my overall thoughts: It's enjoyable with friends around and the cheats are extremely addicting. But for me, not as good as STE but it's very fun for anyone who wants to have a laugh and turn off your brain.

Man, i remember at the YMCA they had a GameCube, with a few games, Samus, Super Mario Sunshine, and oh sweet Jesus, Godzilla Destroy all Monsters Melee. I LOVED it. Muah. Beautiful game. And I think i might get it for myself. But I heard some good reviews on Save The Earth, Unleashed and all that. Which one do you think i should get?
Oh oh, they say he’s got to go, go go Godzilla!

Personally, I thought Save The Earth on the PS2 was the best. I've played Destroy All Monsters Melee on both the Gamecube and X-Box, and thought the PS2 version of Save The Earth polished and improved on everything those earlier versions did.Diamondshark9 wrote:Man, i remember at the YMCA they had a GameCube, with a few games, Samus, Super Mario Sunshine, and oh sweet Jesus, Godzilla Destroy all Monsters Melee. While there are elements of Unleashed that I preferred, the PS2 version overall lacked the polish of Save The Earth. I never owned a Wii, but I hear the Wii version is a good choice if a) you own a Wii console and b) you know how to use the WII controllers to play the game.

How many people beat it with all monsters invisible, no HUD on hard? I tried it, took two days, mainly because it wasn't till the second day I remembered Mecha-King Ghidorah has a force field that converts energy attacks into health.

Are there mods that add Kiryu and the cut stages to the GameCube version of DAMM and is playable on a GameCube/Wii?

If you have the Homebrew Channel on the Wii... Yes... kind of. Since Kiryu's only on the Japanese Gamecube version of GDAMM, it's possible to play both Kiryu and MG2 on it (MG2 is hidden within the files), just requires some text editing. Same goes for some of the cut stages.SG-17 wrote:Are there mods that add Kiryu and the cut stages to the GameCube version of DAMM and is playable on a GameCube/Wii?
