The West (Showa, Heisei) vs the Soviets (MV, Millennium)
Wouldn't the MV side be the West? Given it is literally a Western production?

89 is probably the smoothest update of the original design, beyond some of the early Showa designs. 84 was good, but 89 was an improvement over that. Because this design is what all future Heisei designs slightly deviated off of (including 95') it's easy to view this Godzilla as a classic, rivaling the original suit. Compare the deviations from 54 to 62 versus the variations over the entire course of the Heisei series.

What 1995 has going for it, is the intimidation factor. Man, those eyes, look intimidating, but it's an easily overlooked detail. Sure Godzilla's body is glowing and it's unique, but damn does 95 look scary. It also serves as making Godzilla both sympathetic because he's dying, and more powerful. There's a reason why despite being in one film, 95's design is frequently referenced in comics, videogames games, and even came back in the MV. But there's no 95 without 89.

Convince me for my vote! I don't have a solid opinion!

All I can say is I think the 95 suit not only serves as a brilliant visual reflection of Godzilla's internal meltdown, but the suit itself is perhaps the most expressive in the entire Heisei series. Able to shift from anger and pure intimidation, to sympathetic with looks of sorrow and pain which I do not see from the 89 suit great as it is.

In the end, it is your call.

I'd argue it should be more of a contest but Bio Goji has this cult to him. For reasons.

Kinda like how Godzilla vs. Biollante is somehow the objective "best" Heisei film it seems.
Cult? Lol.

Then I am their leader.

Well, you see, in the eyes of the goodies (us) the MV fans are the baddies. Therefore, Soviet.

IDK man, Goji89 admitted to being a cult leader so...can you really call your side the "goodies" here?

Dude, if you want in just say it. We are an accepting cult, everyone is welcome, just love Biogoji with all your heart or until he wins the polls.

Does one get a refund if Shodai ends up winning instead?

If Shodai wins the cult falls into chaos, and many things occur like Goji89 going ‘missing’, myself becoming the new leader and the cult collapsing in on itself.

Wound up voting for BioGoji. As I said earlier, I think it's the closest we have to a second "classic" Godzilla as all the rest of the Heisei series just uses minor deviations of it. I think in general the suit also has the right balance of weight and muscle, versus thickness. One issue with the 84 suit is that the eyes and face can look really derpy when it doesn't look menacing. 89 has a great range of facial expression and looks fierce. In other words, 89 fixes a lot of problems many Godzilla designs have.

95 is good, an impressive update, I actually think when it works it works better than 89:

But then you look at it's fat legs, and I feel like if you poked the organ bits magma puss would ooze out:

For that reason 89 is my vote.

"Oh the humanity" indeed; I have no idea how 89 could possibly have gotten this far.
