Or maybe I'm not around when those things are posted and am just responding to what I'm seeing now. Not everyone's out to get you, but if you really wanna be a victim...

I wouldn't feel "really hurt" if someone said they wanted me to take them to see a movie and then didn't show. The closest thing I have to that is a guy I see movies with who's really bad at keeping time, so we sometimes have to wait for a later screening or I miss the last train back, which is annoying but not something I'm going to cry into my gas mask over and hold it against them years after the fact, no matter how many times it happens. I can comprehend your posts just fine, and what I'm reading is that you take things much more personally than is necessary and don't need much to hold a grudge. Maybe work on that before telling others to work on themselves.

Okay, so something else that's cringe-worthy: that ridiculous "Nice" that Midori blathers in Godzilla vs. Mothra 1992. The scene with Mothra emerging from her cocoon was so unbelievably beautiful.. and it was kind of ruined by that.

Yeah I didn’t realize how many of his posts were just commenting on how hot the women were in the films.
I mean it’s fine to find people attractive, but considering how excessive it all was+the new info we got it’s pretty crazy.

It was, but she was also a bit annoying in the Japanese version also.

My Mother wistfully sent me a facebook meme involving Godzilla that said,"Trump is in Japan, Godzilla you know what to do".

While I`m openly not a fan of Trump, and think he is a poor president, I found this really offensive and obnoxious for a variety of reasons. It`s immature and childish for someone to wish a fictional character to inflict harm on a politician just because you don`t like them. Likewise, whoever made that had a complete lack of familiarity with Godzilla, misunderstanding that Godzilla, as a creature in general and a symbol of nature and atomic power, is not concerned with human life or interests. Plus, if Godzilla did come to Japan to do bad to Trump, thousands if not more would also die in the process.

My mother sent it to me because she knows I like Godzilla and I think it was her way of trying to connect with me while I live in Japan but I don`t think she thought too much into sharing it with me.
