 Description

A failed creation for the Godzilla vs. the Space Monsters: Earth Defense Directive screenplay, Majin Tuol was a giant, sword wielding, god, who would arise from a giant statue found in the "Palace of the Gods" in the Andes Mountains. Legend speaks of the monster being awaken when the Andes Mountains were destroyed and the palace disturbed, causing the creature's eyes to turn red. Majin Tuol was foretold to wield a giant sword, which could be hurled at his enemies and would return to his hand automatically. The god would eventually be woken, after being moved from the Andes Mountains to Science Land, by Gigan, when the space monster attempts to cut the statue in two so its master, Alien Miko, could install its life support machine inside. Majin Tuol exacted its vengeance quickly, striking down Gigan and then the fleeing King Ghidorah, before Majin Tuol would return to his original position, bearing the mark of Gigan's buzzsaw on his forehead.

Note: No picture of Majin Tuol exists beyond concept art drawings. The above conception of him was done through the Toho Kingdom's interpretation of the concept drawing, and was rendered by staff member Forrest Freund.
