On February 12th, 2024, actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Straight Outta Compton and a bunch of other movies) invited me to the William Morris Endeavor Screening Room in Beverly Hills, California. There Godzilla Minus One (2023) was screened and afterwards a Q&A session was held. This was with Director Takeshi Yamazaki and the rest of his Oscar nominated VFX crew, as they answer questions about the production while also referring to Godzilla movies that came before.

I filmed the Q&A for everyone, which ended up being a 30 minute segment that covers a lot of ground. I hope you enjoy it!

About Takeshi Yamazaki

Besides being the director of the latest Godzilla film, he also helmed Returner (2002), Yokaipedia (2022) and other films. Yamazaki has a long relationship with Toho, and has been involved with many of their more contemporary science fiction and fantasy productions. He’s also previously worked with the Godzilla character, both for a brief stint in Always: Sunset on Third Street 2 (2007) and Godzilla the Ride.
