SPECIAL ABILITIES

Atomic Breath (Su): Once every 1d4 rounds, Godzilla can emit a blast of high intensity radiation from his mouth. This 20x20 foot beam has a range of 2400 feet. By twisting his head and body, though, the King of the Monsters can shorten the range into a 1200 foot arc covering 180 degrees in front of him. Godzilla's atomic breath ignores all cover, dealing 20d8 radiation damage and 20d8 force damage. This also staggers all foes hit by the breath weapon for 1d8 rounds (Reflex DC46 to save for half damage and ignore the staggered condition). A creature killed by his atomic breath is disintegrated, whether the saving throw was successful or not. The save DC is constitution based. This ability counts as a use of the nuclear pulse for the purposes counting rounds until the ability may be used again.

Absorb Radiation (Ex): Godzilla is immune to the damaging effects of radiation. When Godzilla is struck by a radiation attack, he absorbs the energy and heals an amount equal to the damage dealt. He cannot gain more than his normal maximum health in this manner, nor can he heal from any radiation that he emits himself.

Discharge Energy (Su): Godzilla's heart the equivalent of a nuclear reactor. The King of the Monsters possesses the ability to discharge energy through his claws to damage opponents in a burst of blue bolts of energy. Upon a successful strike in this manner, Godzilla adds an additional 4d8 radiation damage to the attack. This damage is not multiplied on a critical hit.

This ability counts as one use of Godzilla's atomic breath, requiring 1d4 rounds to pass before he can use either ability again.

Fortification (Ex):  Godzilla has a 25% chance to treat any critical hit or sneak attack as a normal hit, as if wearing Light Fortification armor.

Hurl Foe (Ex): When Godzilla strikes a Huge or Smaller foe with his natural attacks, he may make a CMB check to knock his opponent backwards in a straight line. For every 5 points by which he beats their CMD, they fly an additional 10 feet backwards. If they strike a wall, they take 1d6 additional damage per 10 feet moved.

Lingering Breath (Su): Godzilla can expend one use of mythic power as a free action when he uses his Atomic Breath to make the area radioactive for 10 rounds. Any creature in, entering, or passing through the breath weapon's area during this duration takes 4d8 radiation damage.

Massive Strikes (Ex): Each of Godzilla's natural attacks can target all creatures within a 30 foot square. Godzilla makes one attack roll; any creature in the area whose AC is equal to or lower than the result is struck by his attack.

Mythic Power (Su): Godzilla can draw upon his near unimaginable power to accomplish deeds normally beyond his own amazing standards. Each day, he can expend a number of uses of mythic power equal to his mythic rank (10). This amount is his maximum amount of mythic power. Godzilla automatically has the surge ability, and can use this mythic power to activate it.

- Surge (Su): Godzilla can expend one use of his mythic power to increase any d20 roll that he just made by rolling 1d12 and adding it to the result. Using this ability is an immediate action taken after the original roll is made and the results are revealed.

Nuclear Pulse (Su): Instead of releasing his nuclear energies in a lancing bolt of energy from his mouth, Godzilla can swallow the energy and emit it as a powerful shockwave from his body! Once every 1d6 rounds, Godzilla can use his nuclear pulse attack to strike all enemies within 600' in a blinding flash of nuclear power. The nuclear pulse ignores all cover, dealing 25d8 radiation damage and 25d8 force damage, staggering all foes hit by it for 1d8 rounds (Reflex DC46 to save for half damage and ignore the staggered condition). A creature killed by the nuclear pulse is disintegrated, whether the saving throw was successful or not. The save DC is constitution based. This ability counts as a use of the atomic breath for the purposes counting rounds until the ability may be used again.

Powerful Blows (Ex): Godzilla's Slam and Tail Slap attacks add 1-1/2 times his Strength bonus on damage rolls.

Radiation Emission (Ex): Godzilla constantly emits high intensity radiation in a radius of 120 feet around himself. For each increment of 30 feet away from him, the intensity of the radiation decreases. The King of the Monsters does leave behind enough fallout to make the area radioactive for years, though. Creatures must make a save according to the intensity of the radiation left behind, which fades from severe to low over the course of 3d10x10 years.

Rage (Ex): As a free action, Godzilla can tap into his rage at the indiscretions of mankind. This allows him to cause even greater damage than normal. Godzilla gains an increase of +4 to all attack rolls, melee damage rolls, thrown weapon damage rolls, and will saves while raging. In addition, he gains 4 temporary hit points per hit dice, raising his hit point total to 1076. Godzilla can rage for 86 rounds per day while still performing all of his abilities. He may end his rage whenever he chooses without suffering any fatigue.

Reflexive Breath (Ex): The first time in any round that Godzilla can make an attack of opportunity, he can choose to use a diminished version of his atomic breath instead of making a physical attack. This attack only targets the creature which provoked the attack of opportunity. It causes the same damage and effects of his normal atomic breath (Reflex DC36 for half damage and no staggered condition). The save DC is Constitution based, and it includes a -10 penalty to reflect the fact that this reflexive breath is a shorter (but no less powerful) blast of his atomic breath. This does not affect the recharge rate of his normal atomic breath attack.

Sense Kaiju (Su): Due to the monster's incredible senses, Godzilla is capable of locating the closest kaiju at will as if using Discern Location.

Spiral Fire Ray (Su): The undisputed master of nuclear power, Godzilla can call upon its unrivaled destructive power to emit a beam of crimson colored hyper radiation. This 30x30 foot beam is hot enough to melt stone, and acts as a more powerful version of Godzilla's base atomic breath. The spiraling energies can strike targets up to 3000 feet away. By twisting his head and body, Godzilla can shorten the range into a 1500 foot arc covering 180 degrees in front of him. The spiral fire ray ignores all cover, dealing 20d8 fire damage, 20d8 radiation damage, and 20d8 force damage to its target. This unrivaled blast staggers all foes hit by it for 1d8 rounds (Reflex DC56 to save for half damage and ignore the staggered condition). A creature killed by his atomic breath is disintegrated, whether the saving throw was successful or not. The save DC is constitution based.

ECOLOGY
Environment Any (Ocean)
Organization Solitary (Unique)
Treasure None

King of the monsters and head of the pantheon of kaiju gods, Godzilla has existed since before the dawn of man. Possessing power nearly beyond measure, he battles the forces of evil (and occasionally good) to maintain the world's balance and the natural order. Predatory, territorial, and nearly unstoppable, Godzilla is the god of nuclear energy, destruction, strength, war, renewal, and atonement.

Godzilla is the picture of power, standing 328 feet tall and just as long, weighing in at 60,000 tons. Power radiates off of the monster king, the radiation seeping from his pores and into his surroundings. The ground cracks and shakes beneath his feet, his spikes clamouring together like a thunderstorm while his bell-like roar echoes rises to the heavens. His gleaming orange eyes can see in darkest night and through the depths of the ocean beneath his heavy furrowed brows. Double rows of man sized teeth fill his terrible maw, within which gleams the blue power of radiation. Rising from the ocean, Godzilla stands upright in a humanoid stance, his powerful chest and arms swollen with near unrivaled strength. Behind him swings his thick tail, lashing out beneath a back full of large, bone white spikes reminiscent of maple leaves.

Among the various kaiju gods, there are none that he will not battle if given enough provocation. However, the only kaiju who have earned his true enmity are King Ghidorah, SpaceGodzilla, Destroyah, Hedorah, Kiryu and King Kong. The first three have earned his wrath and hatred based on their evil disregard for the natural order and their persistence in attempting to dethrone him. Godzilla's hatred for Kiryu, though, seems personal. Whether this hatred is based on it's imitation or something more, very few hazard a guess. However, it is Hedorah that holds a special place in the mind of the monster king. A strong foe that even Godzilla has trouble battling, one need only recognize the smog monster's ability to poison and destroy all life around it to understand the scorn it has earned from the King of the Monsters. As for the Skull Island guardian, King Kong, Godzilla's rivalry is legendary. The two are well matched, and Godzilla sees the giant ape as a threat to his title of King of the Monsters. The pair have waged numerous wars with each other, although neither has managed to permanently defeat the other.

Godzilla Worship

Since the first time he appeared before mortals, Godzilla has attracted worshipers. Even among non-faithful his name is often invoked when disasters strike communities or calamities threaten cities. Prayers are sent to him when he makes landfall in a city in an effort to appease him. Still more are sent to him when another kaiju appears in the hopes that he will appear to battle them.

Among formal worshipers of the monster king, The Church of the Splintered Atom is the largest and most powerful organization. Fully devoted to maintaining the balance of the natural order and espousing the mission of their god, the Splintered Atom has a reputation for producing zealous pilgrims. They travel to disaster zones and large cities to spread the message of their god, that nature has an order and it must be maintained. Humans make up the majority of Godzilla's faithful, but numerous Half-Orcs and Dwarves swell his ranks due to their aggressive and vengeful natures.

The holy symbol of the Splintered Atom is a hydrogen atom, it's left side open in a 45 degree angle with fire and light pouring from it. Their holy words are "Nature has an Order". Their chosen weapon is the spear, reflecting Godzilla's ability to strike from both long and close range. They do not often build temples. They instead prefer to worship at the locations of various disasters and kaiju attacks. However, many major cities maintain a shrine to Godzilla in the form of a remnant of some destruction. In many cases, this remnant is left behind after a visit from Godzilla himself.

The aggressive nature of Godzilla is more than evident in the practices of all of his followers. Each of them is eager to spread his holy message. Wading into battle with their spears, they often utilize spells of radiation to emulate the fighting style of their god; up close and personal, with more than enough firepower to spare. From the followers of Mothra to his enemies such as King Ghidorah, these people are more than ready to battle any who stand in the way of their objectives.
