The Type 82 Command Vehicle was called forth during the great siege that would befall Godzilla on the eve of the 22nd century. Staging the mammoth sized assault against the impending behemoth required quick movement and fast deployment. This means that lightly armored vehicles were going to be needed to establish a command headquarters. This is when the Type 82 comes in. The Command Vehicle allowed the Japanese military to travel into the rocky terrain of the coastal shores, and set up a head base. Though it was armed with a pair of small machine guns, the car did not see any directive intervention with the reptile. Its only purpose was to move men and other assortment of battle implement documents.
